With the weather cooling, it was no wonder that basically Aglaia and every Pokemon she had out of the Pokeball, whether they're physically with her or not, are feeling the temperature drop. The Purrloin and Pidgey were lucky to witness some frozen droplets of water in the trees, reflecting the sunlight that was still visible.
Right in front of Aglaia, a yellow sheep hopped out of the grass, diving right into the light pile of snow mound. The snow in this route wasn't a lot, but enough for the Mareep to play with the first sight of snow. The Pokemon was much more friendlier than the Mareep that Paloma and Shadow had encountered, and it even bleated happily when it saw Aglaia and her Pokemon walking about. "Mareep, Mareep!" this one was playful and friendly. It swayed its tail back and forth, sometimes creating a tiny glow of light. It stopped and greeted Aglaia and Saury briefly, and then continued playing with the snow mound that it just discovered.
A (Level 6) Mareep appeared!

Paloma had to stop her struggle after a while and soon she began shaking from the cold. "Pi-p-p-pi-pidgey," "le-let me g-go, or else I-I j-just catch a flu."she stammered and tried to curl around herself which was difficult since Shadow was standing on her wing. Shadow eyed her and asked: "You want to fly to get the warm?" To which Paloma glared angry at her as she answered: "Yes, A Pidgey doesn't belong to the ground. My feathers are going to be damaged," she said in a voice that made Shadow understand she would be hold responsibility if Paloma lost her flying skills. Shadow sighed: "I'll let you go, if you promise to search for our trainer," She wasn't sure though, of how to make sure Paloma kept her word if she would ever give it, which the pidgey seemed to be very reluctant to do. __________________________________
Aglaia stopped abruptly as another pokemon appeared in front of her and Saury walked straight into her leg. Cyan greeted the mareep happily and tried to get down to play with it in the snow, but Aglaia just got annoyed of him and nervous it could get the mareep to attack, so she called him into his pokeball. "Come Saury, lets try to get past it," she whispered and slowly made a big curve around the woolly pokemon. She didn't even think of battling it since she didn't saw it as yellow, and didn't liked to battle as the was for now. Saury followed her with a curiously look as he was surprised she let the wild pokemon go without having him attacking it first. Perhaps she was beginning to learn? He nodded friendly to the mareep and shivered as he watched it jump into a small pile of snow, he didn't like the cold at all.
(Ooc: Second running, If I can ask I would still prefer the next thing that appears to be at Aglaia rather than Shadow and Paloma.)

Liberate your sons and daughters The bush is hot but in the hole there's water You can get some, when they give it Nothing sacred, but it's a living[/i][/size] ✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ "Meowth! Meowth!~" Now...you would think that this was oh...let's say...a Meowth, right? Well, if that's what you were thinking, please, allow me to re-direct your train of thought. Sitting on a perch in its tree, a Blue, musical creature sat, chanting the name of a Pokemon it had heard in town. Over and over it chirped, and it was probably annoying whatever else was sitting within the vicinity. One of the Mareep that were grazing under the tree gave a bleat and walked off. Anything to get away from the noise. Then, she showed up. A human it had never seen before on its path? Well...this wasn't something to allow. Cheerfully and rather daintily, the Chatot fluttered in front of her, wings spread and talons planted firmly in the ground. "Meowth Meowth!~" it chanted again. Anyone could tell it was a challenge, but it was so simple and.... well....dainty, that it was indeed hard to tell if it wanted a battle or...needed help figuring out what it was.
A Wild Chatot (Level 8) appeared! ✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿

As Paloma had to give up struggle herself free from Shadow, and as it began to be really cold, she finally swallowed her pride. "Alright I'll search for the human. Now let me go!" Paloma chirped angrily and jump instantly to her feet. She started to groom herself with an attitude like nothing had happened, and she puffed out all her feathers too keep the littel warmth she had. Shadow wipped her tail as she waited impatiently for Paloma to be ready. Finally the pidgey looked proudly at Shadow. "You needed my help?" She asked and sounded like she was the generous one and acted like Shadow had begged her to help, instead of threatening her. Shadow just stared speechless at her, thinking Paloma was joking. She wasn't, and Paloma took to the sky. "Follow me." She said proudly and actually even looked to make sure Shadow followed her, before she took of in a random direction. Shadow dashed after her in the fear of loosing her, and she hoped Paloma knew what she was doing. _________________________________________
A unknow sound reached the ears of Aglaia and Saury and Aglaia looked nervously around as it sounded very much like a pokemon. Soon her fears was confirmed as a strange looking bird landed in the middle of their path and clearly didn't wanted to let them pass. Saury took a few steps forward, and Aglaia smiled a bit as she thought it was becasue he wanted to protecct her. "Bulbasaur?" "Do you need help?" He asked friendly to try avoid a meaningless battle. As he waited for the answer he heard the pokdex tell Aglaia what it was they have come across. "Chatot, the music note pokemon. It copies sounds it hears and mimics them." "It probably want to fight, since Saury steps in to protect me." Aglaia thought and found a pokeball, to call out what it contained. "Wait a bit Saury, I think we let Alter take this one." She said as the red light revealed the head of the blue-nosed ground type. Alter growled annoyed as he was still angry that Aglaia had dared naming him and he wanted to fight for the control of his own life. Saury quickly back behind Aglaia when Alter appeared in front of them, as he knew how angry the diglett was, and he didn't wanted to get into the line of fire.
(Ooc: -Alter used growl -Paloma and Shadow are heading in a random direction, and you are free to decide if they are getting closer or farther away from the rest of the group.)

[The RNG decided that they'd be heading toward the rest of the group. Though, I was wondering, what time is it in your thread?] As it turned out, Paloma had gone the right way, even if it had been a random choice. The sounds of the wild Chatot and Aglaia's Battle were even getting louder, they were still a good way off but it still beat going the wrong direction since the cold wasn't helping anything. While the Battle couldn't be heard clearly enough to determine who's it was, or how it was going, it was still still something. Plus moving around helped with the cold, even if it had been the wrong direction, it was better to be moving than to sit and wait with how cold it was. Alter was obviously eager to take out his frustration on this Chatot as he Growled at the thing practically right after he'd been released from his Pokeball. Making things worse for the Chatot was that with his Ability, Arena Trap, the Chatot wouldn't be able to flee even after it realized what it was in for. Obviously that was the bird's problem though, it was also the thing's problem that his higher speed allowed him to attack first. The Growl was filled with his rage, and as a result was highly threatening to toward the Wild Chatot, clearly indicating to the Wild Pokemon that it was in for a fight since the Diglett wasn't about to let it off easy for an offense that had nothing at all to do with the Chatot. Chatot had just had the "fortune" of being the first object of Alter's frustrations. For the Chatot, the Growl seemed to make it feel small and feeble out of fear. It knew that being able to fly was an advantage, but it had been filled with terror of this Ground-Type just because of the Growl. As a result of it's fear, Chatot's attacks would be a bit less damaging due to the fear it was feeling sub-consciously. Sure it wasn't like the Growl could actually do any damage, but attacking the enemy's confidence and making them fear was an effective tactic. Obviously it didn't scare the bird enough to prevent it from attacking, but it had still been an effective move from Alter. For it's own attack, the Chatot ran at Alter, charging the Diglett with it's beak for the Peck Move. It wasn't the greatest Move in the world, but it had helped the bird out of quite a few situations. Chatot just hoped that this would be another situation that Peck could help out with. Fortunately for the bird, it managed to land the attack, hitting the Diglett head on with it's beak, sure the Growl had lowered the damage a bit but it had done a pretty good amount of damage anyway, as it was obvious the opposing Pokemon was in quite a bit of pain. Though, while Peck had hurt the Diglett quite a lot, it didn't seem to have done that much actual damage. Which was confirmed when Alter recovered from the move fairly quickly, though his wound was still hurting him. This served to boost the Chatot's confidence, though it still felt some fear as a result of the Growl. Either way, it seemed that Alter might not have as easy a Battle as he'd thought, as it was quite obvious that the Chatot wasn't going to go down without putting up a fight. As this round of the Battle ended, Chatot backed off from Alter, heading back to the distance it had started from. After hitting him with that Peck, Chatot didn't want to stick around the Diglett since he'd probably Battle Chatot | Level 8| Health: 32/32 HP [100%]Status: Normal; Attack -1 Attack: A successful Peck. Vs. Alter | Level 9| Health: 18/23 HP [78%]Status: Normal Attack: A successful Growl. Weather: A cold and wet Frost.

(Ooc: Time? I'm not sure, what you mean.. I'll guess it is daytime, and I'm pretty sure it is still the first day in Cherrygrove. And by the way, Arena trap doesn't work on Flying types, since they are immune to ground type moves ^^)
As Shadow followed Paloma she was really nervous on where the pidgey led her. She tried to ask several times, but she didn't get any answers, but as Paloma didn't slowed down, she had no choice but to follow closely. They could soon hear noice of battle further ahead and both sped up to see, what it was they had come across. They ran through a bush and Shadow stopped abruptly with a happy smile on her face. Paloma landed on a branch above and and puffed out her chest. "I told you so!" The pidgey said proudly and looked at the battle in front of her with curiousity, perhaps she could do as the last time? Shadow sat down with panting. She would like to join the rest of the team, but she wanted to be sure she didn't interrupted anything and make it worse for the diglett in this battle.
Alter had begun to turn to face Aglaia and Saury when he got hit in the back of his head by something. With a furious expression he spun around just to see a brightly colored bird backed away from him. He wasn't sure it was this one, who had hit him, so he just growled threatening in the attempt to chase it away. It was only a bird anyway, and he was more interested in teaching the human a lesson than battle this pokemon. "Alter, use Astonish" Aglaia ordered while she looked down at the pokedex. She got no reaction from Alter, as he saw no reason to do as she asked him. Saury looked nervously from behind her leg, both for what the diglett could do, and what Aglaias reaction to this would be.
(ooc: to clarify: Alter used growl. He is ignoring Aglaias order.)

Chatot was a little confused by the arrival of Paloma and Shadow. It was usually natural instinct for Wild Pokemon to avoid Pokemon Battles. Which meant that these Pokemon were trained, and more than likely by this very girl. Now Chatot really couldn't escape from this battle even if it wanted to. But it had a clear advantage against this Diglett. It didn't seem to be listening to a thing its Trainer actually said. Alter let out another growl just as Chatot swooped in for another attack. The Chatot struck at Alter with its beak several more times, causing the ground-stuck Pokemon to flinch in pain. Alter's refusal to listen to his Trainer's orders had caused him some pain, but whether or not this sudden injury would cause a change of heart. Wild Pokemon Battle!

Aglaia frowned confused as Alter didn't do as she ordered him to. Even she could see, or hear, that the growling couldn't be what she had told him to do, though she could understand why it was so. "I thought they should do as they were told," she thought and tried to come up with why Alter didn't do as her other pokemon. "Perhaps it is because it isn't trainied? Thats must be why Grandfather said pidgeys were easy, since they are doing what they are told even if they isn't trained much." She concluded, as she remembered all her other pokemon have had trainers before her, and therefor had learned how to battle with humans. "But how to teach it?"
Meanwhile Alter glared sulky at the colorful bird who continued to attack him. Didn't it understand that he had other things to take care of than hitting that, just because his stupid trainer wanted. He snarled frustrated when he remembered he had a trainer. As it was bgeinning to hurt, the chatots pecking, he had to take care of it first, before he could turn his attention back to the stupid trainer, who had dared to capture and name him. He would make clear to her, that he wouldn't allow that, and that he was his own master. He looked calculating at the bird. As long as it was in the air, he couldn't touch it, so he needed to lure it close enough to hit with his claws. He waited motionless until it was close enough, and then swiped his claws at it, hidden in all the dirt he dug up with the sudden movement.
Both Saury, Shadow and Paloma waited and watched the battle. Saury still hided behind Aglaia, and Shadow and Paloma was by a tree a little away.

Chatot prepared for the incoming attack. But not with an attack of its own. No, the Wild Pokemon took an opportunity to gloat at the ground-bound mole. With a squawk, the bird almost seemed to speak. It had obviously learned some words from hearing a human talk like this and used it for its attack. "Weak! Weak! Weak!"
The technique, a move known as taunt, worked its magic on Alter. Alter swooped in even faster at the landed bird. The ground that dug up as Alter moved covered his attack, but then the blue-nosed Diglett revealed its hidden claws from underground and swiped at the Chatot, causing the bird to squawk out in pain and take back to the skies. Wild Pokemon Battle!

Alter frowned furiously as the chatot started to mock him, like the stupid human wasn't enough. (He refused to think as her as his trainer, he didn't need any trainer) He followed it closely with his eyes as he wondered how he best could hit it, know it was in the air. He would show it, he wasn't a weakling!
Aglaia frowned too, though hers was from confusion. What was happening? She found out her pokedex and tried to look chatot op, whihc didn't went well, since it wouldn't show her much. She found her old book and flicked through it until she found a list of "interesting attacks" where one seemed to fit. "Is it taunting him? It would fit well with the describtion" She thought as she couldn't find anything else that seemed to fit with what the chatot had said, and how Alter reacted. "Oh, snap out of it Alter. Ignore it and continue as you used to!" She exclaimed and didn't gave him any orders, as she was quite sure he wouldn't obey anyway. Aglaia couldn't see how it should be such a big issue that a loud bird called you weak, while you were battling it. It should be easy to ignore.
Alter answered Aglaia's yell by disappearing down into the ground. He popped up several times in a specific pattern in the hope of luring it closer to the ground, so he could scratch it again. Behind Aglaia Saury still tried to be as unoticed as possible, while Shadow finally decided to join him and Aglaia, and moved towards them. Paloma staid in her tree and shook her feathers as she watched the battle closely.

Chatot couldn't help but laugh at the Diglett's angered state. The taunt had worked perfectly and now Alter was forced to rely on blindly scratching away. The Chatot was confident it could win this battle now. However, confidence often caused defeat for people with obvious advantages. Chatot swooped in, managing to land a quick pecking blow on the Diglett whilst it rapidly burst from the ground. But Chatot lingered for too long. Whilst it was close to the ground, Alter popped up from behind it and raked its small claws across the bird's back. The Chatot screeched in pain, the attack hitting a particular weak spot. The critical amount of damage served as a cautionary sign to the Chatot that this battle wouldn't be as easy as it had once thought. Wild Pokemon Battle!

Aglaia followed the battle worried, she was sure this wasn't going very well. She had read in her book, that it was really important to keep once head cool, or else you would lose because of a stupid mistake. It was written as an advice for the trainer, which Aglaia was well aware of, problem was that even though she thought clearly, Alter didn't. And as it was for now, she didn't have any control of him either. "Stop it Alter! You are going to loose, if you don't do as I say. Ignore whatever the bird said and use..." Her shout died out, as Alter clearly didn't heard her, and just continued to pop up and down from the ground. Aglaia hesitated, until now it went fine, and the only other pokemon she got with her, was Ask and the weak youngling. Neither a good choice against the chatot. But the battle was going so slow, and she feared that time was against her. She braced herself and made a decision. the next time Alter popped up from the ground, he was hit by a red beam, and as his eyes widened by astonishment, he was sucked back into his pokeball. Aglaia looked rather surprised at the pokeball, she hadn't expected to actually hit him.
"Ask, get out and use Leech seed on it." Aglaia ordered as she knew her bulbasaur would need all the help she could get. It was a flying type she was going up against. She turned nervously when Ask didn't immediately stepped forward and start the battle, and she gaped when she saw him headbutting a purrloin affectionately. "Shadow, you returned!" Aglaia exclaimed relieved and smiled happily. The two pokemon ignored her first, finshing their headbutting before Ask headed into the fighting arena and sent a single seed flying towards chatot. Shadow then went to greet Aglaia, who petted her and asked where Paloma was, though of course the purrloin couldn't answer her.

When Aglaia switched her Pokemon, the Chatot can't help but imitate one of the words it picked up from humans once again. It squawked "Booo! Boooo!" obnoxiously loud. Saury cringed at the blue bird's deafening sound. The Bulbasaur pressed his front feet on his head, like a human would pressing their hands on their ears, to hopefully reduce the loud noise, if not eliminate the headache. The sudden sound made Saury missed its Leech Seed! Once that was over, Saury was trying to prepare a Leech Seed again, but the Chatot's voice was still ringing in his ears! While the grass type was regaining his concentration, the flying Pokemon swooped down for a Peck that Saury has no chance to escape. Thankfully, Saury was the sturdier of the two and resisted some heavy damage, despite being a grass type. When this was finally over, Saury calmly launched a brown Leech Seed on the Chatot. The seed touched the flying Pokemon, and then exploded vines that wrapped around the blue birds' body. Next thing the Chatot knew was that his health was being drained. Wild Pokemon Battle!

Aglaia glared annoyed at the chatot. This pokemon wasn't really scary, just very noisy and irritation, and it was in the way and slowed her down from her task. The squawking made her cover her ears just like Saury. Shadow growled annoyed and spun around and hid in the nearest bush, in the attempt of getting as far away she could from the horribly loud sound. With her sensitive ears it was much worse than for Aglaia. "Saury, stop it! Tackle it and finish it!" Aglaia shouted as loud as she could in the hope she was heard. She wasn't. The ringling in his ears was too loud for him to hear anything else. He growled threateningly instead, as loud as he could, though not even that could he hear clearly. So he was unsure if it was only heard or not. Aglaia made a grimace when Saury didn't obeyed her, but she didn't scowl him as she was pretty sure it was only because he couldn't hear her.
In the tree nearby was Paloma sitting and rustled her feathers, her eyes locked on the chatot. She was so far away she wasn't bothered by its screaming, but she wanted to be sure, she was the one who won this battle. So she waited for the right moment to attack and show everyone she was a better bird than the colorful one.
(OOC: To clarify, Saury uses growl)

After hearing that that human had commanded the Bulbasaur for a tackle, the Chatot wasted no time and dove for another Peck. This time, the grass type was hit hard! Thankfully, with the growl earlier and from Atler, as well as the Leech Seed, the Chatot's attack was significantly diminished! Saury could feel the weakening in the flying Pokemon's power. However, little did the Chatot knew that Saury's ears were still ringing from the Chatot's growl earlier, and Aglaia's command had completely missed the Bulbasaur's ears. The grass type growled in return, just as the Leech Seed wrapping the blue Pokemon glowed green, draining some health back to Saury. It looked like the Chatot was on its last leg, and last voice. Wild Pokemon Battle!
