Hey all! Was bored, so I thought I’d start up a thread. Now, I know I cannot be the only person with a cat or a dog (duh) on this site, and I personally love the crazy beasts known as pets. So, I was thinking, why not make a thread where people can flaunt show-off their beloved pets and tell their stories? So, here it is! My crazy dog Annie, posing for the camera. Found her on Petfinder. My fat cat Dora, asking for a belly scratch. Apparently she thinks herself part dog. Got her a couple years back when I went to visit a dog at the pound. Mom fell in love with her, and instead of the promised dog, we got her beloved cat. My grandma’s 13 year old cat Gigi, who apparently thinks herself a ninja and aims to kill me. Tried to suffocate me the other day by shoving her paw down my throat. My grandparents got her from the pound. Another picture of Annie. I swear this nutty dog could be a model. So, here’s some stories. The other day, Annie (my dog) was resting next to the sliding glass doors. My grandma’s cat, Gigi, walked out of her room, trotted over to her, and smacked her across the face before walking away. I have never seen a dog so surprised. About a week ago, I walked into my nanas room, Annie at my heels. I walk in, Annie walks in. Gigi runs up to us, slaps Annie, and hides beneath the bed.

This I can join ^^ And I will try do it short Here is my three: Gaia, Enja and Monjo. They are guinea pigs, and not hamsters Enja. A little more than 2 years old. "Saved" her from a private family, and is still easy to scare and quick to hide. She is the shy girl who is put on the leader spot and she loves to wash the others ears... Monjo, 2 years old. Neutered. I fell for his eyes, as they are soft and reminded me of one of my older guinea pig. He is a sweetheart and the most calm and trusting of the three. He rules the females with an ironfirst, stays out of the girls arguings and is happy to hide behind them, if there is anything scary^^ Gaia, 1½ year old. As the youngest and the newest to the "pack" she is in the bottom of the hieracy, which she is happy with. She and Enja is testing eachother, and since Enja is the softer one, I think Gaia could probably take over her spot. When she was young i suspected her to have some sort of mild brain damage since she had some very strange movements when she was a piglets. But I haven't seen any for a long time, so perhaps she has grown out off it. Stories: Before Monjo was neutered, he was in cage beside the females and he spent all day gnawing in the bars to get through. As they are of iron, he didn't succeded. The first day he was alloved to be with them, he was an overexcited teenager and the old female I had at the time, told him to cut it out. That made him jump to the side where his own cage was, and he started to gnaw on the bars to get out again

Oh, Guinea Pigs! We had two, Sparky and Gabby. Supposedly littermates, but I doubt it. I don’t have any pictures of them on my laptop, but Gabby was dominantly brown with some white, and really long fur. Sparky was mainly white with brown ears and eye spot, and short fur. Gabby was a true Guinea Pig! He would block the hutch so that Sparky couldn’t get to the food. We woke up one morning and he was dead. I am of the opinion that Sparky suffocated him so he could get food. Sparky was hilarious! He would race around his cage, and we’d chant “GO SPARKY GO!” and he would go faster!

Annabelle - The first pet that was ever completely mine. ♥
She was extremely clever. I had to unplug my radio because she figured out how to turn it on...and she always did it in the middle of the night when she wanted me to wake up to play with her. I also couldn't have a glass of water on my nightstand, because she would dip her paw in and shake it over my face to sprinkle me with water so I'd wake up, and play with her. She figured out how to open the bathroom door, she would search on my mom's nightstand till she found her glasses and then knock them off and hide them under the bed, and she scared the crap out of my older siblings. <3 (she literally cornered them one time) The two spots on her face that curve around her ears looked like devil horns from the back and her tail had a little crook at the end of it. She was sweet to my husband (boyfriend at the time) which gained him some brownie points. When I first met her she was playing in a room with other kittens. There was a ball hanging from string tied to a plastic chair. The other kittens were playing with the ball, Annabelle got up on top and tried to untie it. She'd get jealous of my laptop and phone. When I was on my laptop she'd come over and lay across my arms while I was typing. Sometimes I couldn't find my cell till I heard its muffled ringing and I'd find the cat on top of it.
Her nickname was Annabelle: Cat from Hell The whole family cried when we had to put her down because she had feline leukemia when she was three. I really really really missed her sleeping on my bed at night, and I still cry every time I pass by the vet where I last saw her, and it's been 3½ years since it happened.

http://instagram.com/p/eLtNLbI5q9 # My very own Kitten, CC~ She's a bit of a pain in the butt sometimes, but she's worth every weird moment I have with her. When I'm on my own playing on the PS3 she sometimes jumps up and lays between my arms while I'm playing. She hates thunderstorms but really likes water....enough to play with her paws in the toilet, but not actually enough to bathe. She's one of those finicky gals. Her name stands for Coffee and Cream, but of course, we just call her CC cause it sounds weird to call her by her full name, though sometimes I do when she bats the dog kibble around the floor. She also acts more like a dog than the dog that lives in the very same house. She loves fetch and dog food, but I try to get her to stick to her Cat food. She for some reason won't touch anything except for Friskies Rise and Shine blends. http://instagram.com/p/dt7njIo5tQ Now, this little beauty is the family dog, Kenzy. When we first got her, we meant for her to bond with my step mom, but since I held her a lot to protect her from my dad's yelling, since it was a not so pleasant surprise for him. But he eventually warmed up to her like I knew he would....unfortunately, she isn't his biggest fan, but they get along sometimes. Kenzy is another character, and I often find her in my bed along with the cat every morning. She and CC wrestle a lot, but I'm pretty sure Kenzy thinks of herself as CC's mother, because she's very, very protective of her. I have another dog who I don't have a good picture of, but I'd love to mention. Her name's Chickita, she's a 20 year old Shih Tzu. She's been around longer than both Kenz and C put together, but now she's so old she can barley move around without tripping on herself. She's lived a long life but we might put her down soon, to prevent her from suffering. We aren't sure yet.

Uh, I just got guinea pigs babies ^^ It is a guniea pig from my work, which turned out to be pregnant. And I took her home to take care of her, since she is too young and small to actually be pregnant, in my oppinion. Luckily it all went well: And just to compare the size of both mom and babies with a fully grown guinea pig:

Time to join and update this again, as I don't have any left of the ones I posted several years ago. (Gaia as the last one, had to be put to sleep last year) My current ones: Røskva (the brown one) and Ronja the creme one. The first picture was not long after I got Ronja, where she was still rather short haired. Here they are relaxing on the couch and Ronja has got much more hair.

I know I posted a picture yesterday in the cbox but I managed to get a better picture of Smokie with her lion trim haircut. I am still not used to her new look but she seems to like having far less hair getting in the way. Nothing has gotten stuck in her fur again either which is nice.
