A Charmander, a lizard-like fire-type, laughed as it ran along a dirt road, running its claws along the flowers in the trees. ‘This is so fun!’ she cheered. Her trainer, a lunar haired girl with a crippled leg and blinded eye, chuckled softly as she saw the fun her partner was having. She moved her hand to her belt and pulled out five Poke Balls. She increased the size of all five and released the pocket monsters inside, one by one. The first creature that formed was a feline, maybe 1’04”. It was dominately purple with tan markings and jade eyes. It sighed and licked its paw dismissively, glancing around. The second creature was a beaver, maybe four inches taller than the first. However, it was branded with an red R, had many scars, and was missing a leg. It snuffled the ground, before looking up at Haley with a goofy grin. The third creature was a yellow shrew, taller than the others at 2’00”. It glanced around before digging nervously at the floor. The forth light created a cat the same size as the third. It was pink and cream, with purple markings and sinister red eyes. Its tail was branded with the same mark as the beaver. The fifth and last beam formed a yellow and black mouse, perhaps a foot tall. Its ears were tipped with black, its tail was black, and there were red circles on her cheeks. They rushed forward to join the Charmander, only to watch as she froze and tilted her head. Suddenly, she rushed off into the forest, ignoring Haley’s calls. The team looked at each other before following, Haley limping behind. As they continued, Haley could barely hear screams for help in the distance, and she yanked off a branch to use as a cane. Using the branch, she was able to move faster. Her hair was pulled back out of her face, revealing the three scars that a Persian had oh-so-lovingly given her. She narrowly avoided several trees, unable to see them thanks to the scars. She came to the top of a hill, taking in the scene. A young schoolboy, clutching three baby Pokemon, was surrounded by a pack of three Houndour. She gulped, and froze. At least they weren’t Houndoom. She paled violently, but knew she had to do something. “Honou, Stumpy, Medea, I want you to use your Scratch on the one on the left, Quick Attack on the one in the middle, and Fake Out on the one to the right!”
The trio nodded, and raced forward, getting between the Houndour and the young boy. “April, Sandy, Yokina, stand at my side at standby!” with that, she limped down the hill, approaching the boy. “Hey! You!” she called to the Houndour. “Get away from him!” |

Warm sun, tree shades, mild wind-- what was seemingly a good weather for Jimmy to cozy up the soft cushion of grass and to read up on Johto mythology had gone awry. He at first heard a bark, then two more barks. Upon looking up and waking up from his deep-reading stance, he was horrified. He quickly slammed the book shut, grabbed his bag, and also grabbed his three baby Pokemon, and run for his life! The kid screamed shrilly, and fled as fast as he could. As he ran, he kept on shouting, "HELP! HELP ME! HEELLPPP!" at the top of his lungs. His attempt to run was outmatched by unintentionally placed tree root extending on the ground. He tripped on the root and fell. he panicked and panted, scared to death that he was about to pee. His Pokemon too, were whimpering. Then, he found himself a savior when Haley showed up. Medea attacked first toward the Houndour named "Abyss", as shown from his collar. She ran closed and clapped her paws together, creating a quick boom of wind, tossing the dog away from the boy. The three Houndours, or rather two, since Abyss need a little time to gathered himself, turned their attentions toward the girl. As they ran away from the boy to attack in newcomer, Jimmy collected his stuffs quickly and ran away to hide behind Haley, instead of being cornered to a tree. He whispered to her, "Um, thanks for rescuing me!"However, the battle had just started. Stumpy the three-legged Bidoof also somehow managed a quick attack on Havoc, another Houndour. Honou followed and scratched the last Houndour, Helena, with her sharp claws. The Houndours, however, seemed to be cornering on Medea. The Skitty was first hit by Ember from havoc, and then was trapped with the poisonous smog coming from Helena. The crossbred Skitty succumbed to the poison and looked sick on her face. "I-I--I was reading when they attacked me!..." Schoolkid Jimmy muttered without Haley asking, still traumatized by the event.

Haley frowned as one of the dreaded canines poisoned Medea, causing the Skitty to shiver. “Medea, you alright?” she called, and the mutant feline nodded, baring her fangs at the hellhounds. A relief-tainted grin slid onto her lips when the Houndours turned towards her Pokemon, forgetting about the boy. The boy quickly rushed over to her, and she gave him a soft smile. “Anytime, kid. You okay?” She watched as Stumpy used a strong Quick Attack on Havoc, followed by Honou, landing a Scratch on Helena.
“Keep going strong guys!” she shouted at the battled trio, before turning to her three other pocket monsters. “I need y’all to keep an eye on him. If any of those hellhounds try and get to him, beat their butts.” with that, she stepped forward, taking more control over the situation.
“Medea, use Sucker Punch on Abyss! Honou, follow up with Smokescreen on Havoc! Stumpy, another Quick Attack on Helena!” the trio nodded, turning to the three fire-types that had attacked the young boy.

The boy stuttered at first, but finally got over his trauma and answered Haley, "I am okay. Are you sure your Pokemon are okay?..." He was uncertain. His Pokemon looked weaker than this trainer's Pokemon, but still, the dogs look tough and rough. Screeching angrily at the dogs, Medea ran and powerfully pounded Abyss with her big tail. Abyss fell to the ground, but hastily got himself back up, with just enough time for the poisoned Skitty to get away. Then, Stumpy followed up with a Quick Attack on Helena, knocking her right onto the ground. The dog yelped just as Honou came from behind and unleashed a smokescreen on the leader of this pack, Havoc. Helena howled proudly, warning the attacking Pokemon that they won't easily back down. Then, Abyss and Havoc seemed to gang up on the Bidoof, now that they had the Skitty on low health and poisoned. Stumpy, too, succumbed to the mixture of ember and smog. As the toxic cloud cleared, the Bidoof looked sick just like his companion Medea. The schoolkid looked at the battle, amazed by the triple battle. He then just turned to Haley and uttered another gratitude, "I'm Jimmy... Thank you for saving my Pokemon and I!" His Pokemon added their own appreciation. The Chingling rang a little bell-sound, the Budew and Azurill just cried and hopped happily.

“That’s good to hear, kid.” she muttered, glad to hear that he was alright, but keeping her eye on the brawling trio. “I think they’re alright, but I’m gonna bring back Stumpy and Medea.” Her mouth slipped into a grin as Abyss fell, but the grin slipped as he clambered back to his feet.
“Good job guys!” she cheered, wanting to keep her Pokemon’s moral up. It looked like Medea and Stumpy needed it. A shiver slid down her spine at the hellhound’s howl, though it seemed to increase the pack’s moral. She knew that the two mutant Pokemon needed to be recalled, and quickly glanced over to the trio guarding the schoolkid. She scowled when Stumpy was poisoned as well. “Name’s Haley.” she spoke, pulling off the Rocket experiment’s Poke Balls. “Stumpy, Medea, return!” she tossed the Poke Balls, and the pair gave annoyed cries as they were recalled, though they knew they wouldn’t last much longer.
“Yokina, Sandy, it’s your turn!” she called, and the Pichu and Sandshrew left the boys side, racing up to the battle and waiting for the next turn, leaving the Purrloin to guard the boy. “Hon, use Scratch on Helena!” she called, and the fire-type starter nodded before racing forward, claws at the ready.

After Haley had switched out both of her Pokemon, Jimmy was a bit anxious as to where the battle would go. He had hoped that her Pokemon wouldn't be defeated. That would be terrible. The Sandshrew let out a cheerful "Shrew~" as she prepared herself for a battle. And the Pichu for now was also energetic and squeaked a jolly "Chu~" at the Houndours. As the two were readying for the battle, Honou went forward and landed a scratch at the Houndour in front of her. Helena whined in pain as she was on the last of her strength. Then, Abyss saw that his teammate was failing and ran toward the Charmander. Instead of attacking however, he just shot a menacing glance toward the fire lizard. The last canine, Havoc, looked at the small Pichu and rudely shot fire at this poor mouse. "Your Pichu.... is cute! Pichus are like my Pokemon, they only evolve when they feel ready," the kid commented, completely oblivious to his lack of reading that the baby Pokemon evolves when they feel loved. At least he wasn't going to repeatedly say thanks now.

Haley smirked as her Pokemon cried out in cheer, encouraging Honou as the fire-type charged forward and slashed Helena across the muzzle, nearly causing the other fire-type to fall. ‘Take THAT!’ she barked, flaring up her tail and shooting embers into the air. However, she quailed slightly under the hellhound’s glare.
Yokina laughed, happy that her teammate was doing well. She leapt into the air, letting out another cheer, only to be struck with tiny, flaming coals. ‘Ow!’ she screamed. ‘That hurt, you jerk!’ without waiting for an order, she sparked her cheeks and released a bolt of electricity at the canine that had burned her, revenge burning in her coal-colored eyes. She hoped the Thundershock stung!
Haley chuckled as her Pichu fired off an attack in revenge, then turned to the boy. ‘Thanks.’ she turned back to the battle. “Honou, finish off the female with Ember!” she ordered, and the Charmander formed flames in her throat, shooting them at the other of the same type.
“Now Sandy, use Poison Sting on Abyss! Let’s hope the poison takes!” she smiled, stretching the scars. “I know you guys can do it! Do me proud!” the Sandshrew, encouraged by her master, forced the stingers up into her throat, preparing to shoot them at the fire-type hellhound.
Haley turned to the schoolboy. “Hope you gain two lessons from this. One- never go out into the wilderness without competent Pokemon. Two- how to battle!” she laughed. Although it was a dangerous situation, she was having fun with the battle.

"Oh my, faced by three little runts, it seems like we've been had, Havoc!" Helena gushed. She was weakened, it was true, but both males in her little pack, knew that she wasn't about to give up to a bunch of...well, to them, toddlers. Honou kicked things off, breathing in deeply, firing a bunch of hot embers at Helena, but she just stood there and took it. It was then that Honou realized they had made a mistake. Helena's ability must have been Flash Fire. Helena chortled, a rough smirk crossing her muzzle.
"So you think you're tough, don't you?" She questioned, a sickly sweet tone crossing her vocals. She breathed deeply and released a flurry of embers, which came crashing into poor Yokina. Her Thundershock was redirected harmlessly into the air, and never hit its mark. Yokina fell to the floor, a KO that never had a chance in the first place. Honou felt horrible, completely horrible. She had just basically assisted in knocking out her own team member. "Ugh, I hate rodents, they're too stringy." Abyss commented, a devilish grin on his face as he shot forwards and grabbed Yokina before her partners could protest. So there the Pichu was, dangling by the Houndour's jaws. He threw her up into the air and opened his jaws wide, But Sandy was quick to launch a poison sting in her partners defense. Abyss dropped the young Pokemon, staggering back when he felt the poison sifting through his veins. "Guys now!" Jimmy commanded. The baby Pokemon stumbled forwards, working together to quickly move Yokina out of jaw's reach. Abyss growled and leered at the remaining two, further lowering their defenses. Havoc came last, barking as he fired an ember, which hit Sandy square on.
"Be more careful! Please miss... I'm learning from you yes, but you can't be so confident. It'll hurt you. And confidence isn't worth almost losing your Pokemon..." Jimmy mentioned, handing her Yokina, whom he had gotten from his Pokemon. -------------

Honou growled angrily at the Houndour ***** as she spoke, teasing her younger friend. “Shut up! You have no right to talk, considering how weak you are!” she took a deep breath and released it in the form of a multitude of fiery embers, most hitting their target. What she didn’t count on, however, was the Houndour’s ability. Flash Fire, which makes the Pokemon who has the ability immune to fire-type attacks, and, worst of all, increases their attack. Haley and her Pokemon’s eyes went wide as Yokina was taken down with a strong burst of fiery embers, and Haley instantly felt guilty. She had sent Yokina out, only for her to faint. ‘Dammit! Dammit dammit!’ she thought, reaching for the electric-type’s Poke Ball. Sandy gasped as Abyss lunged forward, grabbing the tiny mouse. “No!” [/I] both she and Haley cried, watching as the tiny mouse fell into the gaping maw. However, the word wasn’t the only thing to leave the sand-type’s mouth, as a series of poison-filled darts leapt through the air and pierced the dark-types skin, sending him leaping back. Relief filled Haley’s veins as the schoolboy sent his Pokemon forward, bringing her baby Pokemon back to safety. She threw a quick thanks to Sandy as she collected the electric-type from Jimmy. “Yeah, kid, I know.” she lowered her voice so that only the boy could hear what she said next, recalling Yokina into her Poke Ball. “But you gotta keep up a brave face for your Pokemon. If they think you don’t think they can win, then they will have a hard time. But if they think you know they can win, then they’ll have the courage to win.” She grimaced. She didn’t like putting out space-keeping Pokemon, but it was the only thing she could do. She turned to her Purrloin. “April, I need you to do me a favor. I’m going to send you out, and Revive Yokina in your turn. That okay?” the feline nodded and purred, leaping forward to stand in front the three hounds. Haley turned to her other Pokemon. “Honou, use Scratch on Helena!” the fire-type nodded and dug in her hind claws, preparing to race forward and shred the *****’s fur beneath her sharp claws. “Sandy, use Poison Sting on Havoc!” she pulled out a yellow bottle from her bag and let the fainted mouse out into her hands. She sprayed the Revive on the Pichu, and smiled when she gave a soft Chuuu! and opened her eyes.

"I guess I should learn how to battle before putting a brave face on..." the kid spoke sullenly, feeling guilty for causing this crisis for both himself and this trainer. Thankfully though, if this trainer wasn't here, he would have been mauled by the dogs. For this next round of battle, the climax had heightened. April purred playfully as she watched the other Pokemon battled. And during her turn, Haley had healed up the fainted Pichu from the fiery breath from those dogs. The baby electric mouse had regained consciousness, and was ready to return to battle, however, the battle was already underway! Honou struck first with her claws, putting one of the Houndours down. Helena groaned and struggled to get up, but she failed as she had no more strength to continue the battle. Seeing that one of the ally was down, Havoc the leader Houndour opened his fanged mouth and sent fires toward Sandy, hoping to take out another one of Haley's Pokemon. Instead, the Sandshrew was a little bit hardy and withstood the fire attack. Abyss, on the other hand, assaulted Honou for taking down Helena, barking and growling angrily. When the canine got close, the fire-dog released toxic smog from his mouth, choking the Charmander's fresh air supply. The fire lizard soon found herself succumbed to the poisonous air and felt sickly. At least now, both Abyss and Honou were on the same boat on being sick. Sandy, being the last to attack, opened her mouth and fired some poison barbs toward the leader. While the barbs did stung the canine, the poison didn't go through. Perhaps the Sandshrew wasn't strong enough to poison the dog, or Havoc had a stronger immunity. Whatever the case was, Sandy tried to poison the fire type, but to no avail. "Hang in there guys! There's two more left! Don't pass out yet!" Jimmy shouted, tensed with fear that the Houndours might win. For a battle amateur like him, maybe he couldn't read a battle really well from the Pokemon's expression. Though he still tried his best to encourage Haley's Pokemon. His trio of Chingling, Budew, and Azurill also cheered with him, providing mental support for the Pokemon on the field. Just as this round was almost ending, both Honou and Abyss felt sick and barfed some foul air. The poison inside both Pokemon were really getting to them.

Upon hearing the sad note in the schoolboy’s voice, Haley turned to him for a brief moment. “Hey, it’s okay. When I was little, I got attacked by a Persian. How do you think I got these scars?” she asked, gesturing to the three scars across her face. And then she turned back to the battle. She gave a cheer when Honou took down the female, increasing their chances of winning. “Good job!” She couldn’t help but flinch, however, when she saw Sandy getting hit by the Ember attack, and knew that the Sandshrew couldn’t take another hit like that. And then Honou was poisoned. Seeing one of her closest friends become sick and not being able to help pulled at Haley’s heartstrings, and she swore under her breath. “Honou, can you last a little bit longer?” the fire-type turned to her and nodded, baring her teeth in a grin before coughing. Although she felt ill, she wasn’t going to just lie down and give up! Haley cursed again when the poison attack from Sandy didn’t work as she’d hoped, the dark canine having a stronger immunity to poison than she’d expected. Haley glanced at Jimmy for a moment as he encouraged her Pokemon, a small smile flicking on her lips. It was good to know that there was still some kids who were kids, unlike her. In fact, the boy couldn’t have been much younger than her. “Here’s the plan guys!” she called, and the trio turned their ears her way. “Focus everything on Havoc! He’s the healthiest, and the poison is probably gonna take down Abyss on the next turn! So, Honou, use Scratch! April! Use Scratch! Sandy, I want you to trade off with Yokina!” she barked, and the Pokemon hurried to follow her orders. Honou used Scratch on Abyss!

All eyes were on Abyss now as the pokemon were scurrying to make their moves. Sandy was switched out for another rejoining of Yokina on the field while the other two pokemon began to get ready for their attacks. Honou went first as he charged forward and let his claws glow a deep white. He swiped at the final Houndour that was the one in most remaining in health. Then that left April as she pounded forward, repeated the process where her paws turned a deep white and slashed at Havoc. Havoc took the attacks but was starting to show signs that he was getting exhausted of the moves as they were pounding into him. His fellow Houndour seemed to be on its last legs as well and all that was left was him. Abyss used his move as well that was up next as the houndour inhaled heavily to consume as much poisonus gass as he could before releasing it. The Houndour soon exhaled as the gas was sent straight for Honou. And just as he figured, his fellow Abyss fainted right near him as the poison took its toll on the Houndour and Abyss had about enough of this battle. Abyss inhaled heavily to make room for his own attack as he sent a plume of vile purple smoke towards April. April hissed in disgust as the cloud enveloped her and smelled horrible. But she had been lucky this time, the smog had not affected her enough as it began to die down and left her alone to cause some poisonous damage. There was only one Houndour left and three pokemon. The odds were surely against the Houndour now as it realized that this was going to end badly for it now. It looked like its allies were not going to wake up any time soon to help him in this battle. Havoc was on his own. Jimmy seemed a bit surprised as Haley explained to him where she got her scars. So she had been in a bad accident too like he was going through now? Well he had to admit he was glad that he wasn't scratched up or attacked by the Houndour with their ember attacks. He was also glad that Haley showed up on the scene to help protect him from becoming houndour's dinner. From the looks of things she was just about done with this battle as one pokemon remained standing and that was Havoc. "Well look there you were right about that one houndour fainting. You only have one Houndour left now and he looks pretty tired." Jimmy said pointing it out as the battle continued. It was starting to become one sided for Haley, which was good news for her.

“Getting tired?” Haley called mockingly to the two Pokemon, her trio crying out in agreement. Honou was the first to attack, her claws extending and becoming sharper, beginning to glow a blinding white. She raced forward, towards the healthier hellhound, slashing downwards harshly, splashing the air with blood as she opened up wounds on its side. April, flicking her tail tantalizingly, trotted forward.
'Psh! You are a sorry excuse for a Houndour! Being beaten by a cat, a rat, a mouse, and a lizard!' she snickered, before her claws glowed and she added another wound to his growing collection. Before he could retaliate, she hopped out of reach, sticking out her tongue.
Haley cringed as Abyss used another Smog attack, worrying for the health of her Pokemon. However, Abyss misjudged, and launched the attack at her fire-type, whom was already poisoned. Honou coughed from the heavy smoke, but wasn't hurt too much. And it appeared that Haley's judgment had been correct- right after attacking, Abyss succumbed to the poison, falling lifelessly to the ground.
But then, Havoc took another deep breath, and released yet another smog. This one hit her feline, who let out a hiss of disgust. 'My coat!' she wailed, coughing as she inhaled some of the sickening smoke. However, it seemed like Haley's luck was holding out, for she did not fall ill, only causing a foul smell to stick to her pelt.
Honou, April, and Yokina moved to stand in front of Honou, shoulder to shoulder with eachother. 'Well, looks like your going to lose, demon! Any last words?' Honou snarled, baring her sharp teeth.
'Isn't this odd, mutt? A cat and a mouse working together to get rid of a dog!' April sneered, flicking her whiskers, ears, and tail. Yokina stayed silent, but smirked, sparking her cheeks.
“Yeah, you could tell from the way he wavered that he was gonna fall soon.” Haley nodded in response to Jimmy. “Now, Yokina! ThunderBolt! April, Honou, I know you're getting sick of this, but Scratch attack! Finish him!” she ordered, smirking at the canine.

Everything was starting to tumble down hill, as the last stand for Havoc became apparent as the Houndour was struggling to stand on its feet. It was exhausted and it might have considered giving up, but it still had to try. Even with the odds were all against Havoc it still had a possible, probably slim chance of winning against the pokemon that were out in front of him. Honou was the first one to attack as he was starting to wrap up the battle, Honou's claws glowed a deep white as he stretched his hand out wide to swipe at Havoc. Havoc made an attempt to dodge the attack but Honou was smarter, much smarter than Havoc as he managed to predict the canine's move and the pokemon winced from the attack. The pokemon struggled to stand now as it was in certainly a large amount of pain. Once it couldn't take it anymore, the leader of the pack of Houndour collapsed on t he battle field. The trio Houndour had been at last defeated and Haley could rest easy for now. The school boy on the other hand looked stunned. He had learned so much from this battle as he watched it come forward as he began to understand that not everything he read could be applied to battles, he had to go out and experience battles first hand. "WOW WOW, That was amazing! You totally beat them all right there with your pokemon! Your pokemon were awesome out there!" Jimmy said as his excitement seemed to show no end in sight as he was certainly relieved to see that the pokemon that had been chasing him earlier had fainted.

 Upon defeating the Houndours, Honou has grown to level 13 (+2)  Upon defeating the Houndours, April has grown to level 9(+2)  Upon defeating the houndours, Yokina has grown to level 13 (+3) Yokina wants to learn the move Sweet Kiss, but there's no room for it. Delete an older move to make room?  For participating in the battle, Stumpy has grown +1 level (now level 9)  For participating in the battle, Madae has grown +1 Level (Now level 12)  For Participating in the battle, Sandy has grown +1 Level (now level 11)
Upon defeating the battle between the trio houndours, Haley has now unlocked a new system, and it is called the Happiness System. Each time your pokemon battles another one and wins, it gains +1 happiness point.Jimmy said as his excitement still seemed to be there as he was happy that the battle was over there. His pokemon seemed to have come out of hiding as they hid behind him as they hid in fear from the three houndours. There was no reason to hide now as the battle had been finished, the houndours were the least of their problems as they could walk about without worrying of another ambush. "Also here's another prize thata I want you to have in order to remember this battle. It's called a Soothe Bell. It helps with your pokemon's friendship." Jimmy said as he dug through one of his pockets to show what looked like a silver bell. He handed it to Haley without hesitation. He knew that Haley would do better with the item than he would so he didn't mind at all if she took it.  Haley has received the Soothe Bell! However as Jimmy was handing Haley over the items that she received for the battle the houndour started to stir out from their consciousness. The pokemon scrambled back up on their feet as Jimmy looked stunned at this, "Uh? What's going on with the Houndour? I thought you fainted them in the battle? Oh...they don't look like they're going to attack." Jimmy said as he looked back as the Houndour took off down one of the paths, however it quickly forked into three different paths as they darted down their way and disappeared into the forest. The only thing that the houndours left behind were their footprints. "They seem to be in a hurry for something. Do you mind going to look? A pokemon running that badly after a battle seems like they're heavily concerned about something. I've gotten into enough trouble already and I think it's best if I avoid another issue. Good luck to figuring out what's wrong with them." Jimmy said to Haley as he seemed to be heading off to go back home. "Man, I'm sure going to be in trouble if my parents found out..." He muttered to himself but it was probably enough that Haley could hear him. Ooc: Updated your pokemon's levels. |

Haley smirked as Honou charged forward, sharp claws glowing as they extended. When she was close enough to Havoc, the hellhound tried to leap out of the way, but Honou spun and slashed him lengthwise, causing his blood to fly. While he was stunned, April raced him and used her sharp claws to slash him once more. It seemed that the final shock from Yokina wasn't needed, as Havoc staggered and fell. April sat down just out of reach of his fangs and licked her paw. 'And so the dog falls to the cat,' she purred. She teasingly leaned forward and licked his nose, then turned to stand by Haley. Seeing that their opponent was down and out, Honou and Yokina ran back to Haley.
“Thanks, guys. I really owe you.” Haley said, returning everyone but Honou and Yokina to their Poke Balls. Honou darted up to Jimmy and checked him over, while Yokina took up her spot on Haley's shoulder. Upon hearing the schoolboy's speech, the two Pokemon blushed and rubbed their necks, muttering thanks in their languages. “Thanks, Jimmy. I think we're all just glad you're okay.” both of her Pokemon nodded enthusiastically, causing her to smile. “Did they hurt you any?” from the way he was acting, she doubted it, but you never could know.
When he offered her one of his trio, she was understandably startled. “Are you sure, kid?” she asked, brow furrowing. “If you are, then I choose...” she thought over the trio. Budew are able to be caught in Cherrygrove City, so it would be pointless to chose that one. While the Azurill could be an asset to her team, as she had no water types, but it would need to evolve first to be of any use, so it would be better to choose the Chingling. “the Chingling.” the Chingling bounced up to her shoulder.
When he offered her a Soothe Bell, she couldn't help but blush slightly. She hadn't been given a gift since before her parents died. “Thanks, kid.” she put the Soothe Bell on Yokina's tail, so that she would gain extra happiness in her upcoming battles. When the Houndours clambered back to their feet, Haley was stunned and her three Pokemon bounced up to defense stances. However, instead of attacking, the three hellhounds took off at full speed down one path, then separated down three paths.
When Jimmy asked her to follow them, she hesitated, but then the boy left. Haley looked at Honou, who tilted her head. “I know I'm probably gonna regret it, but let's go back to Cherrygrove.” Honou nodded, and they left.
