The man in the white coat adjusted his glasses and grinned slightly with relief when the mischievous Spinda had finally been caught. "That's the first Pokemon battle I've seen in years," he revealed. "Being a Professor's aide, I don't get out much. Prof. Elm keeps me studying Egg Pokemon and their moves at the lab all day. My name is Jeffery by the way." The man extented his hand for Sharada to shake. "Oh, by the way. I think I may have a reward for you for helping me." Jeffery quickly rushed into the lab and returned a few minutes later with an egg tucked under his arm.  "Would you like to take this with you on your journey. I have a couple of them lying around in the lab and I don't know what it contains." |

Sharada pushed Spinda's ball deeply into her bag, accompaning the other pokemon she had also required. She wrapped her arms around Charmander, lifting him up and then turning to the Aide who had approached her. She smiled softly and nodded, "Hello Jeffery! My name is Sharada! Nice to meet cha!" She noticed his hand and nodded, giving him a firm handshake whilst smiling at him.
She opened her mouth to say goodbye, but blinked her eyes as he spoke of a reward. She grinned mischieviously and nodded to him, "Alright! I'll wait here for you..." She watched him as he moved away before looking down to Charmander, "... Even though catching Spinda is a good enough reward for me." she whispered to herself.
As Jeffery came back into view, the egg in his arms caused her to smile. She took a few steps forward to meet him quicker, examining the egg in his arms. She placed Charmander carefully on the ground and then extended her hands towards him to retrieve the egg, "Ahh! This is amazing!... If I am allowed it, then I shall take it!" she giggled excitedly, "And of course, once it has hatched I will rush back over here to show you what it was!"

((Thanks for modding Joey and Andrew. You've done a really good job.  Keep up the good work.)) "I'm glad to here it," said Jeffery. "Well I guess I'll see you once that egg of yours has hatched." Jeffery finally turned and started to walk back to the Pokemon lab. He still had a few experiments he needed to finish up and the Spinda business had really left him behind in his work. Once, the aide had left another Pokemon walked into view, completely unaware that there was a trainer around.  ((Even hough the egg hatches on Friday, you should still probably wait until you reach Violet City before you come back and show Jeffery the Pokemon. It'd be a bit weird if the egg just hatched in front of him right now xD.)) |

Sharada smiled and nodded to him, "You sure will! Seeya soon Jeffery!" she spoke, waving her hand to him as he walked away. She smiled once more as Jeffery soon disappeared out of her sight. She looked to the egg and thought to herself, wondering what Pokemon would hatch from it.
She was about to turn to continue her journey towards Cherrygrove, when the fluffy looking Zigzagoon hopped in front of her. She blinked softly before suddenly pointing and shouting at it, probably startling the poor thing, "LOOK! CHARMANDER! Another Pokemon!... Quick! Lets battle it!"
[[And yush. That sounds fine ^^ I'll walk around with it for a while before coming back lol]]

Charmander perked up when he heard that he would be called out to fight another Pokemon. He coughed out a ball of flames unintentionally which flew out and scorched the grass out in front of him. That was a bit unusual. He seemed to have learnt a new attack and felt a new sensation in his belly which he wasn't used to. The Zigzagoon blinked with a vacant look on its face. It wasn't sure what this Charmander would do but it hoped Charmander didn't blow those fireballs at it! Battle

Sharada's eyes blinked slightly as the small blast of fire torched the grass. She turned her head to Charmander, thinking for a moment before letting out a smile, "Heh heh! No need to be alarmed there, Charmander! Looks like you have a new power under your belt!" Her eyes lingered over to the Zigzagoon, noticing the look on it's face.
With a larger grin, Sharada raised her finger and pointed towards the Zigzagoon, "Heehee! Let's see what you can do then! Just your Ember attack!" she ordered triumphantly... having a brand new move would help her greatly.

The flame on Charmander's tail burned brightly as Charmander sucked in some oxygen to fuel his attack. When he breathed out, several small embers flew out and landed on Zigzagoon, scorching its fur coat. The Tiny Racoon Pokemon rolled along the grass to put out the flames but its fur was already ruined by the embers. Once the spot fires were out, it charged at Charmander with a Tackle attack. Battle

Sharada clapped her hands happily together as her Charmander shot out balls of fire at the small, racoon like Pokemon. With another grin, she pointed towards the Zigzagoon and began to chuckle, "Bwahahahaha! Fear the fire you little ball of fluff!"
As the tackle came into contact with the lizard Pokemon, Sharada nodded and smiled softly, "Time for another Ember attack!"

((Thank you so much Morrigan for helping me moderate. It sure has taken some of the pressure off. *hugs*)) Zigzagoon cringed away from the fire-breathing lizard, who was starting to really enjoy himself. He learned new ways of executing the same attack and instead of blowing out embers from his mouth, Charmander swung his tail to scatter the small flames all over the raccoon Pokemon. Frantically, with its fur coat still on fire, Zigzagoon ran towards Charmander while he had his back turned and tail in the are and rammed him hard with another Tackle. It looked like Zigzagoon was still putting up a good fight and its fur protected it a little from the flames as it wasn't all that flammable. Battle

The Zigzagoon was indeed putting up a good fight and was lasting a lot longer than Sharada had hoped for. She sighed softly as another tackle contacted against Charmander. He was still standing strong and seemed to have the advantage.
His new move seemed to be doing the most damage, "Keep on ember-ing Char!" she yelled.

[[OOC: Haha, I see. Well, I think Prof. Oak has written somewhere that you need to open your own thread in every area. If he agrees with it, then I have no problem. ^^ But I'm not sure that your Pokémon would be ready? You haven't got any usable Pokémon over Level 10. Falkner and the Sprout Tower have higher levelled Pokémon than you. Maybe if you open a thread in Cherrygrove, do one or two quick battles and move on? I don't really mind, but I don't want to break the rules either.  Sorry about my post by the way. I'm a little tired so its not too great.]]
Charmander immediately prepared his move upon hearing Sharada's voice. The lizard Pokémon spat a powerful Ember attack at his opponent. He watched as the fire burned on the raccoon's body. Zigzagoon was struggling with the pain. It was clear that Charmander was after landing landing a Critical Hit! Zigzagoon attempted to calm itself. The pain from the last move was gone, but it had weakened the normal-type quite a lot. There wasn't much it could do now. It would just have to keep up its Tackle attacks and hope for the best. Things weren't looking its way at the moment. Maybe Sharada had jumped to conclusions too quickly. Zigzagoon was almost finished. Charmander had a massive lead over it now. If things kept going like this, Sharada would be on her way again in no time.

Sharada smirked proudly as Charmander landed a critical hit on the little pokemon in front of them. She slowly reached her hand into her bag, fiddling around for a while until she brought out a Poke Ball. "Alright then Charmander! Use scratch to weaken it down that tiny bit more!" She clutched onto the Pokeball tightly, waiting for the right moment to toss it at the Zigzagoon.

The Zigazagoon took a great amount of damage, but was still standing with only a little HP left. It stood weakly on its four legs, panting heavily. It managed a Tackle at the Charmander, but left little damage. This was Sharada's chance to catch it now. It was too weak to continue fighting, and it would probably have a hard time resisting the capture. Battle

The corners of Sharada's mouth curled into a smirk as the Zigzagoon was obviously weakened. She pressed the small button in the middle of the Pokeball, making it grow in size. "Alright! Nice work Charmander!..." she spoke, moving her arm back slightly, "Now Zigzagoon... You're mine!" she cried, tossing the ball through the air.

The Pokeball flew towards the Zigzagoon with ease, securing it within its depths. It bounced to the ground and rocked back and forth. It moved once. Twice. Three times. DING!! A successful capture! Sharada's Charmander jumped up and down in victory, happy to have another ally. Sharada had made another successful capture and made another ally. Surely the Zigzagoon will make a great edition to the team.
