"Ares, return."
The hulking Tauros disappeared almost instantaneously with a bright flash of light. The pokeball containing the bull was placed back on Rhoan's belt as she exited the Union Cave. The light contrast compared to inside the cave was rough, so she shielded her eye for a moment before beginning to head towards Azalea. She'd heard some intel about a scheme hatching here soon, so she wanted to make sure everything was up and ready to go. She'd even found a new Pokemon for the occasion.
"Come on out."
Her finger prodded the pokeball containing her newest Team member, a Gyarados. As the light materialized in front of the trainer, a Gyarados formed in it's place. Her scales were red, and shimmered in the bright light. Although her level was slightly less than what it would take to truly evolve, that's why Rhoan had her in the first place. Hasira, or rage.
"Let's get you up to fighting fit. We can't have both of us looking flabby when we want to show off, eh?"
Rhoan snickered, and the Gyarados nodded silently. The female trainer returned the Pokemon, and began searching for their first few victims, er, battles.

After leaving Union Cave, Rhoan was led into the sight of a short route which trailed towards her destination of Azalea Town. Bordered in dense woodland, the area was peaceful and quiet, not even the sounds of chirping birds echoing on the winds. Up above, the weather was starting to make a change, however. The once clear sky had been filled with ominous clouds, a strange chill blowing along the faint breeze which rustled between the foliage of all that surrounded her. As she began to explore for some form of challenge in order to test her strength, the clouds above opened and let loose a flurry of hail. Scattering to the ground below, the chunks of ices bounced unrelentlessly against the ground, numerous Pokemon fleeing from their hiding spaces within the tall grass and bolting into the nearby forest for better protection. With the hail showing no signs of calming down any time soon, it was accompanied by more powerful gusts of wind, of which had a possible victim for Rhoan to take any anger out on.
Face flinching in a comical look of shock, a small pink Pokemon with leaves sprouting out of it's body floated helplessly along the wind, being pelted by ice as it went. Swirling about in all matter of directions as the wind forced it's course, the small Hoppip was about to be in for an even bigger scare as it was ushered into the direction of a human. Shrieking as it was unable to control it's movement, the Hoppip pulled a strained face as it tried to flutter away but instead, found itself crashing to the ground just before Rhoan's feet. Making a sweet sigh, the Hoppip was grateful that it didn't crash right into her, at the very least. Flinching, it looked upward, wearing a dopey, awkward smile as it hoped that it didn't have to battle in this weather.

Of course it would hail. Of course.
The clouds above made the world a few shades darker, and reminded her of home in the jungles she'd stalk Pokemon in. Of course, she didn't have to worry about the weather pitching a fit, though.
"Dammit. Of course."
She spat, watching the Pokemon flee from their hiding places and under safe shelter. Hail pecked at her arms and legs, and occasionally got a few good hits on her head as well. As irritating as it was, she had quite a bit of route to go before she hit Azalea, so there was no reason to flee just yet. Besides, only the strongest Pokemon would still stay out in this weather, right?
Apparently not.
Rhoan didn't see the Hoppip until it had managed to stop right in front of the redhead. It glanced up at her with a dopey smile, and even managed to sit still despite the wind and hail. Isn't that how it got here in the first place? Maybe she could shoo it off. So, Rhoan pulled back her leg and kicked the Pokemon, watching it soar back into the air a few feet away from her. At the same time, she released her newest team member. The Gyarados snarled as she was released, glaring at the pink blob slowly floating away.
"Body slam."

The hail was coming down pretty strong as the battle was about to begin. One would think that with hail and wind that a Hoppip would be a pretty fast Pokemon but Hoppip had never encountered a Gyarados before and it was about to regret doing so. The little pink Pokemon floated around in terror watching the giant sea serpent somehow or another fly over dry land. Before the rather gentle Pokemon could even try a Tackle attack Hasira landed right on top of it squishing it to a size no bigger than a pancake. Hasira let out a mighty roar of victory. She had beaten the pesky Hoppip without any trouble at all and even did it fast enough that the hail did not bother her. As Hasira celebrated her victory the wind began to blow far stronger that what it had been for just long enough that it carried the lifeless Hoppip away before it could be captured. As it flew away a Skarmory dove at it out of the heavens and turned it into a snack as Hasira watched before the giant bird disappeared back into the sky. Wild Pokemon Battle

Before Rhoan could blink twice, spin around and call any naysayer a liar, Hasira had already destroyed the Hoppip before any bit of retaliation. The creature was defeated, and then scarfed by a Scarmory, and the only thing she really regretted was not chasing after the metal bird.
"Nice work, Hasira."
She placed a hand on the hide of the dragon and scratched under one of the scales.
"This'll go better than I thought, it looks like."
A smile creeped onto her face as she returned the behemoth and continued walking. She almost contemplated keeping Hasira out to shield her from the hail, since it didn't bother the dragon much, but that'd have to wait. If she wanted a battle with a trainer or Pokemon, hen she'd need to keep the giant, intimidating dragon out of sight.

As Rhoan continued to walk through the hail the sounds of something walking among the trees could be heard. At first it may have been mistaken as hail hitting the leaves but as time went on as the sounds of the rustling came closer it became apparent that something was watching her. The rustling jumped from tree to tree as if whatever was spying on her was trying to avoid being spotted. For a little while the trick worked as the tress had fairly thick leaves near the top and so in this weather it would be rather hard to spot an intruder. However the intruder made a mistake by misjudging the strength of one of the trees leaves. The spying Pokemon fell straight down into a bush and got rather angry that it could not longer spy on Rhoan from above. It walked out of a bush rubbing the bump on it's head that it had received from the fall as it walked over towards the trainer. It was clearly very angry both at itself and the tree and wanted to vent that anger towards someone. As the tiny monkey like Pokemon walked in front of her the spying Pokemon turned out to be a Mankey. With the small fighting type still rubbing it's sore head it exploded in a rage worse than any Gyarados as it started kicking dirt around and screaming at the top of it's lungs. The monkey was ready to deal out some pain regardless of the fact that Rhoan had done nothing wrong to it. Mankey stood in front of the trainer with a blood red face stomping it's feet as if it really wanted a battle to settle the matter. A wild lv13 Mankey appeared. Please select a Pokemon for battle!

Rhoan was rusty, because she hadn't heard or seen the Mankey trailing them. So, of course, when the Pokemon fell with a rustling clatter, and Rhoan had been caught off guard, it was all the more reason to be angry, and all the more reason to battle whatever it had been. A Mankey walked out from the brush, already clearly irate with itself. It's head had been hit, which angered it even more.
Rhoan looked fondly at the Pokemon. She remembered grappling with a few of them. They were incredibly strong for their size, and right now, with only one good eye, she wouldn't be able to tangle with them anymore. Instead, she'd let her Pokemon do it. Hasira seemed like a good choice, but there was a Pokemon she wanted to bring out more.
"Little fighting monkey versus my little fighting bird. Fair trade."
She began to bring out Cayzle into the fight, and the Combusken came out of his Pokeball. He stumbled a few steps, and then regained his balance before turning to look at Rhoan with a grin. Balancing on one leg, the jokester turned to then face the Mankey, ready for a fight.
"Oh just quit goofing off and use your Peck already."
(Please remove Hasira from my profile, and replace her with Hatari. Then, please delete her from my Box. I don't want her anymore.)

Route 33 | Rhoan had made her orders pretty clear, and as soon as they left her lips, Cayzle was off. The Mankey hardly saw the quick chicken coming as he collided with him, beak ingraining itself into the Mankey's Skin. The Mankey cried out loudly, a large shriek leaving it. It hadn't come here for this!! Or wait...did it? Turning on the Combusken suddenly, the Mankey's arm lit up with a brilliant white before coming down on the bird, who jumped back with a growl of pain. But he quickly shook off the pain. Rhoan didn't accept weakness, did she? The two continued to stare at eachother for a while, but didn't make a move. This was one irritating standoff, if anything or if nothing else. ---- Battle! (Thanks.)
Rhoan watched Cayzle dance around, but smiled when the Peck attack had practically wiped the poor Pokemon out. Cayzle was a goofball, but at least he got the job done. He usually didn't approve of her harsh temper, and even harsher methods, but in the end, Rhoan usually got her way.
"Good job, Cayzle. That was right on point. You're getting good at that."
Cayzle chirped, shocked that Rhoan had given him a compliment. The monkey in front of him seethed in anger, and all it would take is one hit to knock it out. However, before Cayzle could prepare to attack once more, Rhoan had pulled out a Pokeball.
"I'll catch it. Hopefully it'll get a good price on the black market."
Rhoan nonchalantly tossed the ball at the Mankey, watching it disappear into the capsule before awaiting the results... somewhat eagerly.

As the Pokeball tossed forwards, the Mankey let out an infuriated screech. Not only had this flaming chicken set its arm alight but now it's trainer was denying it the chance to go down in a blaze of glory in trying to avenge its honour. Knowing as she pulled out the tell tale red and white sphere device, it could only mean that the battle was taking a quick turn to being settled on her terms. Hoping to try and karate chop the device, it raised its arm back and with an incredible thrust, it struck out at the ball hoping to cleave it in two and avert the capture process. No such outcome would happen however. As it made contact, the Mankey could feel itself being covered from head to toe in a warm, tempting light. With the device capturing the Pokemon inside of it, it fell to the ground with a tap. Rocking back and forth, it began processing the newly acquired Pokemon. Once... Twice... Thrice...

The Mankey had been secured, and of course, it would be heading straight to the market. Rhoan's operation needed funds. Besides, money gave you power, and power made you rise in the ranks. She was at the top before, but working from the bottom was easier when you had the funds to help yourself 'rocket' to the top.
"Good job, Cayzle."
The affirmation of the job well done was all the bird needed to jump up and fall into a handstand, kicking his legs around. The display made his trainer roll her eyes, and when Cayzle was returned to his Pokeball, it still had a smile on his face.
"We'll break you of that... uh, eventually."
She murmured to herself, continuing down the route to find something else.

As Rhoan continued Route 33, everything seemed to return to the serene scenery and cries of Pokemon in the distance. A few seconds later, they saw a seemingly uncoordinated Poochyena wandering, with its eyes closed. It staggered around a few places, almost bumping into a few trees and a few thorns, and nearly tripping on a few big enough rocks. Then, after several more nerve-wrecking seconds had passed, the Poochyena finally tripped itself on a broken tree branch on the ground. The dog tripped and woke up, barking at itself when it realized that it sleep-walked again. It grumbled at its unfortunate condition. After barking at itself, it finally noticed that Justin was there. The dark type turned its head and barked at the trainer, warning her to stay away from his mess.
A (Level 13) Poochyena was sleep-walking woke up!

As Rhoan walked in her solitude, nothing out of the ordinary happened. However, if she kept a Pokemon with her, something was always bound to happen.
"Ares, C'mere."
She released the hulking Tauros, and climbed onto his back, patting his side as she urged him forward. Perhaps weeding out the weak links with her Tauros would help the training increase. Although one of the most intimidating Pokemon on her team, he was currently the weakest. It was time to change that, here and now.
True to the word, when she had a Pokemon with her, Pokemon would appear. Lo and behold, a sleep walking Poochyena barked at itself, catching Rhoan and the bull's attention. It seemed surprised to see them, and then barked for good measure.
"You really think that will keep me away, runt?"
Rhoan asked the dog, slipping off the back of Ares. She rested a hand on his hide and then backed away.
"Ares, show this mutt what we do to annoying Pokemon with a horn attack."
Ares had already proved his worth with his escape on her first impromptu Rocket mission. So, of course, proving himself in battle would only sweeten the deal Rhoan had set up. She watched with anticipation, almost feeling bad for the Poochyena for being on the receiving end of such sharp horns.

As if sleepwalking was not a bad enough start to Poochyena's day it nearly crapped itself at the sight of a Tauros standing next to Rhoan that it somehow missed when it first saw the trainer. The poor canine moaned as it realized that it's own misfortune of being a sleepwalking but rather kind Poochyena were likely going to get a wake up call from reality. As the young pup looked at Tauros it was overcome with fear and anxiety as it knew the bull would easily best it in both a speed contest as well as a contest of strength and both of thosd would likely be huge factors in this battle. Poochyena got ready to try and run for it's life as Ares ran towards to pup at high speed. Poochyena nearly managed to hide in the trunk of a tree it had found however it could not get it's rear up in time as both horns pierced the poor hyena's rear. It let out a murderous howl before blacking out from the pain as it began to lose a lot of blood. A pack of Poochyena then ran towards the scene and while a few of them kept Ares busy the others carried the pour canine off so it could hopefully recover. The other Poochyena then ran off as they did not want to suffer the same fate as their friend. Wild Pokemon Battle
Poochyena: | Level 13| Health: 0% (0/36 HP) Status: KO'ed KO'ed!
Rhoan's Ares: | Level 17 | Health: 100% (57/57 HP) Status: Bullseye!

The battle was over as soon as it was finished. There wasn't much left to be done, aside from scraping the poor pup off the ground. Ares snorted, pawed at the ground with a hoof, before walking back over to Rhoan's side. The girl patted his hide, and returned him after giving him a few pets. She ignored the Pokedex beeping at her, and set her course for Azalea. She'd be getting there soon, so a few more battles and she'd feel ready to take on the Bug Gym. Her Joltik would be useless, but at least she had Tyrana, Cayzle, and the rest of the team.
"It'd help if we had some real competition, I guess."
Rhoan grunted to herself, kicking a stone out of her path with irritation. There weren't many trainers around here, from what she could tell, and even if there were, tey obviously weren't showing their faces. And, of course, the Pokemon here were severely underlevel compared to her team, so she wasn't getting much done. It was frustrating.
