Dorthea stood out in the freezing cold, just as the sun was rising over the horizon, sending faint traces of light down from the top of the trees around Violet. Every breath of air turned into white mist in front of her, as she looked at the grey morning around her. Haze accumulated close to the ground in every little corner of town and at the trees limit, where the light breeze couldn't shuffle the air around. Dorthea drew her shoulders up to the ears and stepped free of the wall, jumping up and down a bit and rubbing her arms as she waited. She was starting to regret arranging for the sell off at such an early hour, but it was the most likely time, Aglaia wouldn't found out, as she was still asleep.
A short moment later Dorthea was walking in a circle around herself. She felt exposed and nervous. She hadn't dared to arrange the meeting too far from the Pokecenter, but hadn't wanted it to be in the Pokecenter either, so she was only a single block away from where almost every trainer in town spend the night. So far she hadn't spotted anyone out in the streets, but she hoped the girl would turn up soon. Of course it was her own fault for being too early, but she could always dream. Dorthea sighed and stuck her hands in her pockets. In the right one lay the Pokeball with the bird in it. She might have to let it out at some point, so the girl could see it first, but for now she would wait till she was actually there to see it.
Alissa arrived at the pre determined location with Igni in tow. However it was more like she was holding on to Igni for dear life because of the cold the morning air had brought. She had decided to stay in the tower, using her dad's old room as her quarters. Soon she found the girl standing and freezing herself. It was far too cold and well it was bad for one's health to just stand outside.
She walks up to the girl. Igni walking beside her, but then suddenly she fumbles herself and falls to the ground. It seemed a small pebble was the culprit and now her face was warm with embarrassment and her body warm by being hurt. "Oww... That. Igni, why did't you catch me?" The Pokemon shrugs and looks away. She finds herself getting back up on her own and she straightens her clothing. "Ummm, hi my name's Alissa and you must Dorthea!!" She says out loud. Alissa smiles widely and holds out her hand in a hand shake.
Dorthea's attention got drawn forcefully away from the pocket at a loud bump in the silent morning air. She jerked her head in the direction of the sound, and started towards the girl to help her. The girl was faster though, and was on her feet before Dorthea reached her. When she introduced herself as the intended buyer, Dorthea smiled pleasently and shook her hand. "Yeah, I am. Nice to meet you, Alissa. You were interested in my Doduo?" Dorthea went straight to business, and pulled on her experience from helping out in the family store. One important lesson was not to make fun of or laugh at customers, a lesson Dorthea had been imprented thoroughly. The girl looked embarrassed enough at her tumble so Dorthea decided to ignore it like something that hadn't happened at all.
After the handshake and Alissa's confirmation she picked out the Pokeball from her pocket, while she eyed the fire lizard at Alissa's side. A little praise wouldn't hurt either. "That's your starter, isn't it? He looks nice and strong. You take good care of your Pokemon?" She had to ask the last part. Even if she didn't like the bird, there was no reason not to give it a nice home. If Alissa confirmed this too, Dorthea would stop toying with the ball and show it for real. "I guess, you would like to see it first?" She waited with baited breath for an answer.
At he, Igni got offended. Sticking her nose up in the air. "Oh pipe down Igni, she doesn't know you are a she." At that Alissa looks back at her with a smile. "Don't mind her, she gets cranky pretty easy. However, I do take care of my Pokemon, an aspiring Ranger must. Cause if not, they turn to Pokemon like Team Rocket uses." She eyes the Pokeball that Dorthea takes out of her pocket. She even offers to let her see it.
"Why not. Maybe Alistare will actually get along with her, unlike Igni... Long story short, Alistare is rival to Igni..." She sighs, "Please, don't let me bore you with my stories." Her purple hair sways in the chilly wind.
It was Dorthea's turn for her cheeks to turn red in embarrassment. "My apologies" she nodded towards the Charmeleon, when she realised her mistake. Then she listened to Alissa's answer and only just noted the Ranger part. She hadn't really gotten into the different sections of law enforcement, but at least she knew of Rangers, Police and Poachers. She hadn't heard much of Team Rocket, but the way Alissa talked about it, it sounded bad. "Alright, good." In the end Alissa agreed to see the bird, and Dorthea knew it had been coming, but still she found the need to gather her courage. She tried not to show her nervousness and act cool with it. She swallowed and opened the ball. Red light crashed out and formed into the two-headed form inside. It was the first time she had let it out since the capture, and she flinched as it raised its heads and looked around with blinking eyes. It was bigger than she remembered, and Dorthea took a step back. "You are welcome to say hello, if you are a bit careful. I haven't exactly tamed it or anything." She warned.
Dorthea's Doduo is taking in its surrounding.

Alissa watches as the form of a two headed creature was formed in its red light. "So that is what a Doduo looks like. She is quite marvelous, Igni won't you look at your new companion?" Igni looks her way and stares, not having seen a two headed Pokemon before, gives it an awkward look. Which the Doduo does in turn.
Alissa reaches to stroke its feathers and it looks at her cautiously. "My, my, aren't you a magnificent bird. I know what just to name you." Quickly she hands over what she was to pay and then some. "My friend, there is an extra seven hundred in that for your trtroubles. Doduo are rare to come by."
(OOC: Tiki already took care of the extra 700.)

Dorthea smiled as she watched Alissa and Igni interact with the bird. It seemed like she had found the bird a proper home somehow. The next second Dorthea was completely stunned at the added amount, and she handed over the Doduo's ball wordlessly. She nodded in understanding of Alissa's parting words, and gave a crooked smile. "I guess I was in luck that day." She really hadn't felt like it at the time. "Thank you very much." She finally remembered saying as goodbye, and she waved, before she turned her own nose towards the Pokecenter. Time to find a nice warm bed, and maybe get a little more sleep, before the day started for real.
