So 6th gen hasn't been added which is understandable since there is no real seamless way to add it in. So, I was thinking we start small. Start with Mega Stones! You can either have a random trainer find one, or bring it in an event. It'd definitely be a start! Heck, you can have Professer Oak make a news alert about an odd stone he found lying around!

isn't it like, in both games XY/ORAS where you would need at least 3 or 4 badges to even get a mega ring? lol

Actually, we are currently working on a way of integrating Gen 6 into the forum. Obviously we can't give too much away but it will be in the form of the Kalos Festival, where some of the new Pokemon/Items will be available to buy as well as the inclusion of Fairy Types. Our main problem was finding a damage calculator with necessary information but we have found a couple now so we will be aiming to get the festival out around June/July.
For Mega Stones, the Staff have currently decided to not include them in the forum just yet. In the games, Mega's work fine but there still needs to be a bit of discussion to whether they would work on the forum. In ORAS, for example, I pretty much went through the majority of the game simply using my Mega Swampert, making it a bit of a game breaker. We may very well add Mega Stones in the future but as of yet, our small start will be including fairy types/a few new Pokemon and we will then progress from there. Mega Stones may very well be considered and added in the future if members show enough interest!

Hmm. Nerf them then. Give them one or two of there stat boosts instead of all of them. Mega Chairzard X would get the special Attack boost only, while Y would get the speed boost only.

If you ask me, you can only use them once per thread and the effect can only last about 1-3 battles. You wouldn't be able to use them in gym battles though.
In game, really I didn't use them all that much, unless I was up against Team Aqua/Magma or the Elite 4. I just wanted to collect them all. I think that really limiting their use would allow intigration, if possible.
Silverfire they already do boost like 2 stats. Mega Beedrill had his Attack and Speed boosted.

I've never been too big on the Mega-Evolutions. I'll admit that I like some of the abilities that some of the Pokemon get through Mega-Evolution. Of course, I think some of the Mega-Evolutions are pretty cool appearance wise, too. However, I didn't really use Mega-Evolution a lot either in the games unless I was battling against someone else using a Mega. Mega-Evolutions tend to make things a little too easy for my liking despite X/Y and ORAS being pretty easy anyway. xD
