[[OMG HAX!!! I just realised how badly the Potion rule could effect player v player battles. I think I'll change it back to the way it should be: costing a turn, because I can really see a problem if someone had a supply of say 100 full restores. xD But now I think about it, I don't think Potions were ever allowed in player v player battles in the games. o_0 I thought only held items were legal. Hmm, I definitely need to change some of these rules... But for the meantime could we make this the last Potion to be used? It looks pretty even to me right now so I'm sure you both wouldn't mind too much.

I think a 3v3 battle is a good idea. Since Snover and Pikachu have fainted, that would mean that you each have 2 Pokemon left.]]

Zero emerged from his Pokéball a little tired from his previous encounter with Pikachu but was instantly revitalised by the cool misty spray of a Potion.

As soon as Elekid saw Amalia's new Pokémon, he followed Joey's command to the letter and charged towards Zero at full speed and flipped into the air right in front of Zero. However, Elekid slightly misjudged his timing and missed Zero as he tred to land the Crosschop.

Seeing as the two combatants were now in close proximity to each other, Zero hit Elekid directly with his small ball of flames, searing electric Pokémon's body.

[The REAL Joey]

OOC: I was wondering that too. Not one to be outdone, I followed suit so I apologise for adding to the confusion. I do have but one request though however; that I may use one more potion seeing as Amalia has used two thus far. Fair's fair no? If another potion isn't allowed then please ignore my role play in Joey using one on Elekid. 3v3 is also agreeable. Works out quite well as we're on 2 and that way we can speed up and resume on both of our other threads.

Joey watched as the battle took a surprising turn of events. He gritted his teeth as he was not at the disadvantage. "Dammit! It was all going so well... Only one thing for it...!" He reached for his trainer bag and retrieved yet another potion. He was becoming conscious of just how many items he had left. "Last one for now..." He turned to Elekid and dashed towards him; dousing the fatigued Pokemon with it's healing properties. "There, go back up and get them!" Joe hurtled back towards his spot. He took a couple of seconds to catch his breath but by the time he had his next issue was ordered. "Okay, Cross Chop's getting unreliable... Strike with a Thundershock! Time to unleash some voltage finally." Elekid seemed relieved at his trainer's request. It was about time Elekid had the opportunity to use a move of his own type. Elekid leered towards Zero and charged his body thoroughly. The sockets above his head flashed with a brilliant light and zapped the opponent Charmander. Joey cheered Elekid on with support.

[LUNAR]

Amalia smirked as she watched the Elekid miss his attack on her Charmander. She then grew wide eyed as she saw Joey use one last potion on his Elekid. She groaned and bit her lower lip. Dammit... Oh well. she thought, smiling at her Charmander. "Okay, Zero! Use a Scratch attack!" she commanded.

"Char!" he replied, extending his claws. He charged at the electric Pokemon and slashed at him with full force.

[[OOC: Ah, I forgot that Amalia had used one previously so I’ll allow this last as the last Potion for this battle. Heh, I don’t blame you guys for using them. I know I would have done so myself. =P

Anyways I hope you’ve found that my modding has been unbiased so far. I’m using a Pokemon Stat. Calculator and some random number generators in order to keep things reasonably fair but I’m not sure how reliable all this technology is.

Also, Joey, if you want to continue your individual rp at Sprout Tower while continuing this battle I think it should be fine. The rule I have there was initially intended for individual threads but this would be considered as a Group Roleplay. I dunno, it'd probably make more sense this way and I'm eager to speed up overall progress as well. So the option's there for you if you want it.]]

Joey’s last Potion returned Elekid to almost full power once again and it was clear that he was charged and raring to go. From a distance, Elekid was able to discharge a bright flash of electricity which zapped Zero, causing him to shut his eyes until the electrical current had passed out through his body and into the ground. In response to the attack, Zero swiped at Elekid with his claws and the physical attack appeared to have worked well against the Elekid, who was not defensively strong.

[The REAL Joey]

OOC: That's good to know. Well, i've done pretty much had the Sprout Tower post finished when I posted it a few days back so perhaps if you or another mod could follow up on it i'd be very appreciative.

The Pokemon launched at one another, both landing vicious hits. Elekid's surge of electrical energy seemed to be effective on the opponent Charmander. As soon as the Charmander had regained it's composure, Joe flinched slightly as it's claws dug deeply into Elekid's body. Joey distinctively flung out his arm pointing towards Elekid. "Charge another Thundershock and send it Charmander's way! Keep up the impressive amount of electricity Elekid, you're doing brilliantly." Elekid responded with a quick nod and refocused his eyes back on the battle. His body shook with a small spasm before another strong current of electricity was zapped at Charmander.

[LUNAR]

"Zero, you all right?" Amalia cried, a worried look on her face. Her Charmander nodded in response, smiling at her. She smiled in relief and smirked. "Okay, now use another Ember!!" she commanded.

"Char!" Zero cried, glaring at the Elekid and took in another gulp of air, letting out another ball of fire at the Electric Pokemon.

As the little Elekid readied it's body for another electrical attack, small sparks of yellow flickered around above it's head strongly. As the electricity was suddenly released, it shot through the air, striking the Charmander fiercely.

Once the bolt of electricity had calmed down, Charmander was able to regain it's composure, taking in a deep breath. A moment later, it let out a bright orb of fire which crashed into the Elekid, making him trip backwards slightly.

[The REAL Joey]

As the embers struck Elekid he pranced around wildly doing his best to extinguish out the fires by patting himself thoroughly. As he shrugged off the last of the remaining embers he focused his attention back on his rival. The burning smoke rose up into the air and filled the air. Joey coughed slightly and shook his head. "Getting serious huh?" He turned to Elekid and followed up with another move. "CROSS CHOP! Hopefully those last couple of thundershocks weakened up the resistance. Be sure to make it connect this time Elekid!" Elekid nodded and dashed toward Charmander with his arms extended before crossing them fiercely.

[LUNAR]

Amalia grew wide eyed with worry. Zero was in trouble... She had to do something and quick! "Zero, hang on! Use another Ember! Make it count!" she cried out, making him nod in response. Zero took in a deep breath and unleashed another Ember attack.

Hopefully, this attack will take out most of Elekid's HP. He wanted to make Amalia proud, and he wanted to evolve and show her how great he could be.

[Morrigan]

As each trainer commanded their attack, both Pokemon jumped forward, charging towards eachother. As the Elekid jumped into the air, Charmander skidded to a halt and took in a deep breath.

Elekid's Cross Chop came crashing down onto Zero and probably would've landed a critical if Zero hadn't of shot out his ember a second later.

[The REAL Joey]

Elekid, expecting a fierce critical was deftly surprised to be greeted with a burst of raging hot Embers in his face instead. He landed on his back and rolled around on the floor quickly to cool off the burning sensation. He got back up and resumed his position. Joey shook his head and turned to Elekid. "Come on, keep it together. Try not to let them strike too early. Use your superior speed to overwhelm them!" Joey pointed his finger sharply in the other corner. "Your Charmander's definitely a strong contender. You and your Pokemon make a good team." Joey had a smiled wryly and focused back on Elekid. "Cross Chop again! And make sure you land it without jumping." Elekid buzzed and dashed towards the Charmander, doing a standing Cross Chop.

[LUNAR]

"Zero, hold on!" Amalia cried, biting her lip. She then smiled at Joey's compliment. "You too!" she replied, then looked at Zero, who seemed to be somewhat exhausted. She bit the top of her thumb, thinking. "Zero, use Scratch! Try to lower that Elekid's health more!" she commanded.

"Char, char!" Zero cried, extending his claws and charged at the Elekid, slashing at it with great force.

[Morrigan]

Elekid and Charmander stared at eachother from a short distance, it was slowly nearing the end and both Pokemon were determinded to win for their trainer. The small Elekid charged forward once more, readying its arms for a cross chop. Charmander also charged forward, it's claws hanging by it's side.

As the two met, the Charmander was first to land the hit, clawing away at Elekid's crossed arms. However, Elekid was soon able to fight back, it swung it arms forward, landing a heavy blow on Charmander.

[The REAL Joey]

Joey gritted his teeth harder as the two Pokemon struck each other with evenly matched blows that dealt almost equal damage to one another. The Elekid retreated back to his corner and panted wearily. Elekid was beginning to look a little worse for wear. "I know you're running out of energy Elekid but you gotta keep this up! I believe in you pal!" Elekid, sensing his trainer's trust tried to muster all the energy he could. He coursed his body with an impressive display of voltage while flexing his small arms much to Joey's amusement. "Hahaha, awesome, strike with another a Quick Attack!" Elekid didn't responded and instead chose to dash almost instantaneously next to Amalia's Charmander and unleash a small jab.

[LUNAR]

Amalia bit her lip and became more worried than ever. Zero was looking terrible and didn't know what to do. She gulped and decided to pull him back. "Zero! Return!" she called out. Zero panted heavily and trotted weakly towards her. She lifted him up and held him gently in her arms, hearing him pant by her ear. "I'm so proud of you, Zero... You need a good rest." she said, nuzzling him softly.

"Char..." Zero replied weakly, sitting beside her feet as she put him down. She then pulled out a Pokeball and kissed it. "You're my last hope... I choose you, Static!!" she cried, throwing the Pokeball in the air and her Magnemite came out, circling around her. "Zzzzt!" it let out, glaring at the Elekid, sparks surrounding it.

"Static! Use Tackle!" Amalia commanded, her Magnemite then charging at the Elekid with full force.
