Terry's facial features aren't anything extraordinary. His eyes are
a dark green color and people often comment on how beautiful they are. His hair is often just a big mess of dark brown. He doesn't really spend much time thinking about how is hair looks and he could care less. With his messy hair and often vacant expression, it makes most people wonder if this kid even has seen a mirror before. Well, to be fair, he doesn't always have a vacant expression, in fact, his face is usually very expressive when he isn't lost in thought. He's a little on the tall side, but not so much that it's obvious. He's also slightly chubby, but it isn't very noticeable through his clothes.
Terry's outfit usually consists of black pants and a white T-shirt depicting a Pokeball. He also wears a black jacket over his shirt with multiple pockets in it to store stuff. His sneakers are black and white with a thunderbolt design on the sides. On his right wrist, he wears a white bracelet and on his left, a black digital watch. He carries a red and black backpack over his back with only his right arm. He doesn't wear the left strap because he finds it easier to access his bag that way.
Personality: Terry usually has a cheerful mood, especially when Pokemon are involved, but once he gets in a bad mood it's hard to get him out of it. He's a generally curious person and is almost always willing to learn more. He's a smart kid, but has a tendency to forget things. Usually when he's under a lot of pressure, he'll start to panic and forget to think things through. He's usually a little nervous and shy around new people, but warms up to them quickly. He also has a general love of Pokemon. They're all interesting to him and he finds them to be fun company.
Since he didn't have that many friends back at home in Goldenrod, Terry is usually efficient at doing things on his own. He's a hard worker when he really cares about what he's doing. Once there's something he wants to do, it's near impossible to stop him from trying to do it. He'll often get lost in thought about things and miss a lot of what's going on around him. Terry is also a quiet person at most times. He isn't a very loud person. When it comes to taking care of Pokemon, Terry is calm and kind. He will usually be gentle with Pokemon and tries to avoid upsetting them in any way.
History: Terry has lived almost his entire life in Goldenrod City. He and his mother live in one of the apartment buildings there. His father left a long time ago when Terry was only four or five years old. His parents divorced with his mother staying in Goldenrod and his father moving to the Sinnoh Region. Terry has lived in the apartment ever since he can remember. His mother used to be a Pokemon Trainer, but decided to stay in Goldenrod City with her family. He spent most of his time when he was younger either at home, studying Pokemon or in the nearby National Park playing with his mother's Pokemon. Even when he was young, Terry was completely fascinated by these interesting creatures.
Once he got older, Terry decided he wanted to become a trainer like his mother. She decided that would be a good idea. Exploring the Johto Region would be a great experience for Terry, and maybe he would have the skill to become an amazing trainer. She knew he hadn't been very far outside of Goldenrod though. She eventually came to the decision that in order to go out and challenge the gyms, he would first have to pass a test. Terry would have to defeat his own mother in a Pokemon battle. She split her team of six into two teams of three and gave half of her Pokemon to Terry to battle with. The battle was long and both of them fought hard, but in the end Terry had finally won the battle with only one Pokemon left.
After passing his test, Terry was finally ready. He quickly packed away the most important things he needed into his backpack and was ready to go. His mother quickly put a few extra things in his bag before it was time to go though. She told him some of those things were essential to a Pokemon trainer. She drove him all the way to New Bark Town to get his Pokemon from the professor and start his adventure. Leaving Terry on his own, she told him to visit home when he came by Goldenrod and to most importantly, have fun. Ready to take on the world, Terry marched onwards to a grand adventure in the world of Pokemon!
Goals: Terry's number one goal is just to have fun along the way and experience the life of a Pokemon trainer fully. He wants to learn all he can about the cool Pokemon he sees and hopes to forge a strong bond with his Pokemon.
