So for the first time in my 20 years of living I got round to watching P2K from Phoenix's stream and while it wasn't too dire as I was making it out to be it was definitely not a spot on the visceral first movie. I also found one little nugget when browsing the internet. I've got the official Warner Bros. website that was setup for promotion of the film. Click. My oh my how internet design has progressed. Even though i've never been there before it has some nostalgic qualities. ;D

...oh my. I couldn't do much coding or make a website, but looking at that makes me feel like a genius. Is this the same Warner Bros. we're talking about?

I know! It's like someone who has literally just found out about the internet and hastily read up on some barebones HTML made that place. Still, for it's age it's not all that surprising. The internet being in it's infancy and all. ;D Makes me wonder if anyone actually even bothered going on there and being the least bit excited. ...Which is a point. Why the hell haven't Warner Bros. removed it by now? You'd think to save server space they'd remove it... Even if it is only 50kb in size.

But onto the movie... for what bit I did manage to catch, it really reminded me of when I went to see it in theaters. My mom probably fell asleep during the premier, but I was all bright eyed and bushy tailed. What promo card did they hand out then? Ancient Mew? Or was that with the movie copy?

I missed it because I live under a dictatorship. Still, I saw it with Camtoniac a couple of months ago and we had sooo much fun screaming the names of all the pokémon and fangasming over Lugia and the talking Slowking (or was that just me?). The whole film was about how Ash and Misty should soooooo hook up which makes it even better!

...And then after the film she and Ash eventually went their separate ways. Ash could have had something very special if he already wasn't so infatuated with his little Pikachu and love for battling. Honestly though, Misty deserves far better. I don't think he ever paid for her broken bike either!

He bought her a new one. That's how the writers got rid of her. Isn't that terrible?
