It certainly didn't take a long time for Alex to find the next Farfetch'd, and this one had a different personality, as it was acting quite confidently, compared to the previous one, which was a caring Pokemon. He can see that this Farfetch'd too, wanted to put up a fight before he could collect the bird and return it back to Sylvester.
With that in mind, and lesson that he learned from the previous Farfetch'd, he decided to be a bit more aggressive in his capture. He told his Pokemon to stand back, and then tossed out a Pokeball, shouting, "Grenevir, start off with an Icy Wind!" Out from the capture device was the familiar white and green Pokemon again. The Snover cheerfully start the battle by hopping on her feet a little bit, and then prepared for an icy gust of wind toward the Farfetch'd. She inhaled deeply and readied to aim at the bird.

The Farfetch'd eyes narrowed suspiciously as some sort of..Christmas looking tree appeared before it. Strange....was that thing really a Pokémon. The Farfetch'd was pretty sure those tree things were supposed to be decorations during late winter. He knew this because the old man and his apprentice always put one up in the house season. This made the bird scoff at the Trainer before it. Did that punk really believe that this stupid tree was enough to defeat it? The Farfetch'd was eager to prove Alex wrong. Wasting no time, the bird lept forward, raising the leak with its wings and, with quick, practiced skills, slashed at the Snover. Grenevir let out a gasp of pain as she felt a sharp cut beginning to form on her arm, feeling the instant sting of the wound the moment it hit the open air. Letting out a huff, Grenevir wasn't exactly pleased that the Farfetch'd was being so mean right off the bat. She quickly retaliated by inhaling deeply, feeling the cold familiar rush of air as she spouted a spray of cold snow at the avian's direction. The Farfetch'd let out a squawk of surprise as it was hit by the sudden icy blast, causing it to tumble back. It instantly felt its feathers freeze up as icy droplets clung onto it. Now cold and even more irritable, the Farfetch'd wanted to quickly perform payback when suddenly, pellets of ice smacked straight into it. The Farfetch'd was startled by the sudden hailing weather, looking up and suddenly just noticing the dark thin clouds that appeared without warning. The Snover, however, seemed to not be affected from the hail. If anything, she seemed to enjoy the newly arrived weather as she did a little hopping dance as the ice pellets merely melted into her already snow-covered body. Alex observed as the battle continued between the second Farfetch'd and his Snover. The flying type wasted no time to flutter forward and sliced the ice type with the vegetable weaponry. The sharp gasp that the grass type made had let Alex know what a hard-hitter the bird was. Never judge a bird with its cover. After Grenevir was hit, the Snover was quick to retaliate with a skin piercing Powder Snow, and he could see how the bird got weakened from that attack alone. That, and on top of the incoming hail from the Snover's weather-altering ability.
Seeing Grenevir was happily dancing, Alex felt a bit bad to finish up this battle quickly for the grass type. But, he needed to get the Farfetch'd back so he could get out of this forest and to the next city on time. He let Grenevir know to use Powder Snow again, and basically hoped that the bird would be ready to go home.

Farfetch'd's feather puffed out and it tried to hide its head in between its wings, as the rain and the cold attacked its thin hide. It had feathers but it wasn't built for colder weathers and it could feel the chill right to the bones! It eyed the small tree and wondered if it was her who had brought this painful weather to its peaceful forest? It was surely wasn't the right season for that! The winter had just passed! Grenevir looked like she had been carrying that snow on her for a long time, and there surely hadn't been any before the hail had started to fall. Well, snow or no snow, a simple tree shouldn't prove to be any real danger, not to a strong bird like itself! The farfetch'd flapped forward with a surprisingly speed and placed itself firmly on Grenevir's should and started to peck her just like a woodpecker would do to get worms out from under the bark of a tree. It hurt! Grenevir's happidance from before was comepletely forgotten and her only wish was to get the bird off her as fast as possible, who knew what would happen if it succeeded with its attempt? She turned her head and covered the farfetch'd in snow forcing it to let go of her and jump around to keep itself from freezing solid and from its feathers to turn into icicles. As it got the last of the snow off it, it once again covered from the hail that continue to hammer down. None of the two pokemon looked good and the next round would probably end it.

With the flurry of snow and hail that Grenevir brought down, Alex was trying his best to watch the battle but honestly, this was cold! It was a chilly idea but it was quite worth it for the super effective efforts! Coincidentally enough, even when Alex was covering his head from the dreary snow and hail, he could see that the Farfetch'd was looking at Grenevir determinedly, as if piecing together that the Snover had brought hail to this fight. He also saw that his Pokemon. Then, upon assessing the health of his Snover more carefully, Alex had decided that it would be safer to switch out his Snover. He returned the Snover, and then sent out his Dustox.
"Alright Tackzill, go for a Confusion!" he ordered as he watched the hail clouds seemingly disappeared. Out from his Pokeball was a colorful moth, whose eyes were glowing light blue in preparation for the Confusion attack.
OOC: switch to Dustox and use Confusion

The Farfetch'd let out a haggard cough, feeling the cold starting to pierce its lungs. It could feel the strength in its body beginning to fade, but its stubborn nature allowed it to continue standing. He intended to fight it towards the end, almost certain it could win its fight against the Christmas Tree. Unfortunately, its opponent was promptly switched out with a Dustox by the Trainer. At this point, the Farfetch'd felt a mixture of frustration and hopelessness. The Dustox that appeared, though seemingly unhappy with the cold hailing weather, was in full health while the Farfetch'd was on its last leg. With a frustrated cry, the Farfetch'd lept forward with its leak upraised in one last attempt to attack with all its might. However, Tackzill was already prepped for her attack as her eyes began to glow. A psychic aura seemed to eminate from the flying moth and the Farfetch'd felt the psychic attack grip its mind and shatter the last of his will. Unable to endure the pain, the Farfetch'd felt itself tumble to the ground as the last of its strength drained away from the attack. With no more energy left in its system, the Farfetch'd finally gave up and its consciousness sunk into the welcoming world of sleep. ------------------------------

Beaten by the cold and then mental attack, the Farfetch'd that was standing was now down on its last health, and proceeded to pass out. Thanking his Pokemon for their work, Alex asked his Spinarak to once more, enveloped the flying type in a sturdy ball of silk to make it immobile. He gabbed the passed out Farfetch'd, and then continued on his way to return to Sylvester, who was probably waiting for his return anyways.
