The elder hated to admit it but Aphrodite did have a point that Cyndaquil could not help it's type and that it was destined to be a fire type and at the same time not be able to control how dangerous it was to the tower. As the elder contemplated the idea that Cyndaquil did not truly mean harm he also had to keep focused on the battle at hand. " I have never given that side of the argument much thought but what you say is indeed true. I do regret not taking that into consideration before judging our rival." As he looked over the Cyndaquil the small fire type looked back at him still determined as ever to prove it could defeat him.
" I have a feeling I am going to see another wonderful attempt by yourself and that Cyndaquil but I will not go down as easily as the other sages. Cyndaquil I hope you show me your best effort this round. You are indeed a worthy opponent" The elder said as he was about to give his orders." Bellsprout use Cut on CYndaquil and Hoothoot use Peck on that Dedenne." Like before Aphrodite's Pokemon managed to get the jump on his own and unlike the previous round it seemed as though both of her Pokemon had undergone a huge boost in power.
Lana went first scoring a direct hit with Thunderbolt on Hoothoot knocking it out with a massive strike. Not a moment later Cyndaquil performed equally well knocking out Bellsprout with a second Ember attack. The Elder was speechless for a moment but as he had come to realize what had happened he finally spoke. " Although you needed help to do it you have finally bested my Cyndaquil. Young lady for showing me how wrong I was about this creature I would like you to have this TM containing Flash as well as this Poke for your victory. The Escape Rope in the corner will allow you to exit the tower in no time at all. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing me just how wrong I was."

Ooc: Somehow there was a huge mistake in calculating Hoothoot and Bellsprout's damage last round. It should have been a one hit on Hoothoot and Bellsprout should have taken at least 54% damage. In either case Growl did not lower either attacks damage so it did not really have an effect so far. I have updated you money and items. I believe I calculated the level gain correctly since this was a double battle but I am going to check a few of the other threads to make sure.
Edit 2: Turns out I had the wrong level posted in the battle data for Lana which explains the huge damage difference. Either way there was no way you would have lost this battle so I am still counting the incorrect damage this time around since there is no point in changing it and making you go another round when it is clear you will win.
