Pixie ran to the Laboratory as fast as she could, her stomach full of butterflies as her journey would start today! Bursting open the door with her excitement, before quietly shuffling in to the warm lab. She closed the door quietly behind her and took a deep breath in hopes to calm her little butterflies. She walked towards the three poke balls lined up in front of her. After reading all the books she had her mind set on Charmander, but the pokeball on the right gave a quick shuffle on the red velvet cloth before bursting open. She was staring at a Bulbasaur, confused she knelt down before the pokemon.
"Hu? So you want to my Pokemon hey?" she whispered to it quietly. The female Bulbasaur gave a quick sharp nod, and Pixie face lit up with a warm smile. "Ok, then I'll call you Serqet. Nice to meet you!" She grabbed the Pokeball and recalled in and with a quick red flash her knew Pokemon was back in the ball. Pixie Started her proud march back down the laboratory.
Upon getting to the door, she tried to open it but something was pushing against it hard. She hadn't noticed that the win had been picking up with a fierce speed. Finally forcing the door open, her hair blew carelessly in the wind and every breath she took the wind forced air into her lungs. But no this wasn't going to stop her, she made her way to Route 29 . In hopes the wind would be weaker.

Pushing through the icy cold winds, Pixie successfully left the Pokemon Laboratory within Newbark Town and made her way towards the first route of her journey; Route 29. Soon enough, the cobbled streets merged into a dirt path, her surroundings becoming that of thick trees, meadows of tall grass and an clear, blue sky overhead. The area was a bit more sheltered than the small, open town but the wind was still strong enough to manically rustling her clothing and hair. Not that it truly mattered. Pixie had just received her very first Pokemon and was about to start her journey, that was far more exciting than a pesky bit of wind. All she had to do was press onward, after all, the next city of Cherrygrove was only a stones throw away so if she wanted shelter, that would be the next best place to stop. As she began to progress along the route, it seemed that the wind had also caused a few wild residents to become flustered. Feathers rustled, a small flock of Pidgey took to the skies, although it seemed to be the wind pushing them in a certain direction other than them flying willingly. But just up ahead, a patch of grass began to shift and shake much more rapidly than anything else around her. Then, what seemed to be a purple, curled tail poked out of the grass, followed by the body of a very small rodent tumbling clumsily. A pair of large fangs protruding from it's small jaw, it nattered to itself angrily, struggling to find food in this fierce breeze.
About to turn to search elsewhere, the wild Pokemon known as Rattata, froze on the spot. Noticing Pixie just up ahead, the Rattata immediately tensed and switched to a defensive stance. It wasn't a very experienced battler but this trainer wasn't to know. Snapping it's fangs intimidatingly as an attempt to scare her off, it was likely that this action would be understood as a challenge to battle.

Pixie had her arm extended just above her head, with her elbow bent in some weak attempt at shielding her eyes from the frozen air. She took one step at a time making sure to have firm footing before taking the next step. If only the wind was behind, i'd make quick work of this route! she thought only a few steps into the route. Pixie's head quickly turned at the sound of Pidgey taking flight only to seem them flap there wings in vein.
She turned back to the dirt path in front of her to be greeted by the rat like Pokemon. She stood still in fear and disbelief. Her first wild Pokemon! She wasn't going to let this escape from her, even if they had to battle out in the worst storm Pixie had ever seen. She grabbed the Pokeball on her belt that she only collected a few minutes ago. "let's play Serqet" she barked as the red ribbon erupted from the ball to reveal a Bulbasaur. "Serqet use tackle!" with this the little Bulbasaur took of at speed towards the Rattata in hopes of a hit.

The windswept Rattata had fled through the grass and in return, bumped into a new trainer and their Pokemon. Out of instinct, the rodent flashed it's fangs in hopes of scaring her off. But instead, Pixie had felt the opposite; she was going to battle and win. This was her very first wild Pokemon battle after all, there was no way she was going to let an opponent slip from her sight. That was what being a trainer was all about. Meeting new Pokemon and becoming friends, battling together to become stronger, travelling the world and seeing new places. For Pixie, this was just the start. It's crimson eyes widening slightly before thinning again, the Rattata hissed irritably under it's breath.
Noticing the girl hold a Pokeball in her palm, the rodent knew exactly what was coming and once released from it's ball, meant that the Rattata couldn't escape just like that. It had seen these trainer-types before from watching in the wild. It needed to defend itself. With a flick of her wrist, the Bulbasaur she had chosen from the Lab emerged from the flash of red. His chunky legs keeping him upright in even these winds, the Bulbasaur was more eager to attack than worry about the weather. Head lowered, the grass type charged forward in full force, intending to strike the Rattata head on.
Unable to move as freely due to the winds, the much lighter Pokemon was finding it difficult to move with the gust, shrieking, it suddenly felt the impact from Serqet and rolled across the dirt path. Gasping from the sudden shot of pain, the rodent hissed but managed to get itself back up, onto it's little claws. Scratching at the earth beneath it, the Rattata suddenly let out a shriek, as if trying to imitate a battle cry and lunged in with a tackle of it's own. Only, on impact, Serqet barely even budged. Instead, his own set crimson eyes stared downward, until the Rattata scurried backward fearfully.

Pixie watched as her mighty Bulbasaur charged at speed at Rattata. Serqet had done an amazing hit she'd managed to hit the Rattata head on, but her happiness was short lived. Pixie wasn't really ready for the Rattata's squeal of pain. But the Rattata fearfully launched an attack back, and Pixie couldn't help but produce a smile across her face. Proud of the little rat she knew she had to have it.
"nicely done Serqet, proud of you!" She cheered. Serqet cave a slight nod in agree me, waiting for Pixie's next command. The adrenaline sped through her and Serqet blood, they could barely feel the cold any more. Though the strong winds were still very annoying. "Ok, Serqet! Tackle again!" she barked. With that the Bulbasaur put her head down and was ready to charge.

Both of the Tackle's from the first round had hit their marks and caused damage but Serget came out the stronger of the two. Rattata had been forced into a cornet that would be hard to fight out of as the next round was going to begin. It had taken a considerable amount of damage and with how powerful the first Tackle had been the rat was unable to judge whether or not it could handle being hit again. Rattata was not a very bulky Pokemon and unlike Serget it did not have a trainer to back up it's confidence either. Those two facts combined were very bad news as Rattata scrambled around trying not to get hit with another Tackle while thinking of a plan. Though Rattata usualy were faster than Bulbasaur Serget's higher level allowed her to outpace the rat by a tiny amount. That tiny extra speed was all she needed as she charged forward. With a loud thud she rammed Rattata with all of her might. The purple Pokemon skidded across the ground shrieking in pain as it got up slowly. Now hardly able to stand and feeling faint the rat had no choice but to keep up the attack and hope for a miracle. It ran forward at full speed and returned the favor by ramming into Serget who flinched slightly at the impact but otherwise was still in good shape as Rattata looked back in horror to see she was still standing. It was clear as crystal now that Rattata was in all kinds of trouble now and with no way to escape the young Bulbasaur's next attack as the small Pokemon knew outrunning Serget was not going to happen and it was not fast enough to make the next move. All it could do was wait as it closed it's eyes and waited for Pixie to make her next order. Pokemon Battle

Pixie watched as the Rattata counter attacked, though her heart attacked for the little rat Pokemon. She couldn't help but be impressed at the pure bulkiness of her new partner. She didn't care hit after hit she stood there in the winds that struggled to keep Pixie and Rattata rooted. But here was this green bulb like Pokemon unmoving in the wind. Thought still feeling horrible for the purple rat, as it struggled to it's paws she knew it was going to be over soon. She could rush the poor rat to a Pokemon centre.
The pink haired girl quickly pointed in the way of her new partner, though her stomach was knotted. She wanted this to be over to let the Rattata rest, but she knew this was what it was going to take to be the best. "You're doing great Serqet, knock them down!" she barked the order. "Let's go for a tackle!" with that Serqet once again bowed her head and lined up. Serqet didn't feel the same awkwardness Pixie did about hurting other Pokemon. She wanted to win her first battle.

Seeing the opponent Rattata struggling on its feet, Serget figured that the purple rodent was on the last of its health. Happily dashing forward to claim her first wild Pokemon victory, the Bulbasaur ran forward and slammed the Rattata with as much weight as she could dish out. The two made contact in a few seconds, and the Rattata passed out, slumped on the ground. If Pixie were interested in capturing a Rattata, this would be an excellent opportunity. The battle had ended as quickly as it started. The weather, too, seemed to have cleared up into something more comfortable. Serget ran back toward her trainer, smiling from one cheek to the other, as she was so happy that she had defeated her first Pokemon. Not only did she learned a lot, she could also felt herself improving in battle skills. The young grass typed looked up, and grinned at the trainer, wondering what would she do next.
185 words added to egg count, 985/6k to hatch Serget is now Level 7 from defeating Rattata! He learned Leech Seed! The wild Rattata can be captured! RattataName: Gender: Level: 3 Attacks: Tackle, Tail Whip Ability: Run Away/Guts Nature/Personality:

Pixie felt a little heartbroken as her strong Bulbasaur hit into the Rattata once more, she waited for it to get up. But it did not, she sighed she was glad it was over. She looked down to see Serqet running full speed towards her and stop right at her feet. She looked so proud, the pink hair girl couldn't help but smile. She bent down gently rubbing her hand over her new friends head. "bulba!" it chirped happily. Getting to her feet she looked over at the fainted Rattata.
She tossed a Pokemon right at it and the Rattata quickly disappeared in side. There was no resistance from her, it shook only once. She went over and picked it up with Serqet close on her heels. With the Pokeball in her hand she brought it up close to her face. "I'm sorry, but i wont let you faint again" she left Serqet out of her pokeball as she looked for other fight.

If Pixie and her team were looking for another fight to partake in, they wouldn't have to look far. The route they were in currently was being swarmed by a Pokemon not native to these parts. It's fluffy purple body and big red bug eyes meant it was none other than a Venonat. Their appearance had earnt them quite a number of fans but whether Pixie would fall into their camp was another story altogether. As the trainer began searching for another fight in the swathes of tall bladed grass, the Pokemon leapt out from the foliage and made its appearance known. Although as it did, it was immediate that something was off about this Venonat in particular. As mentioned earlier, they were loved for their purple fluffy bodies and big red bug eyes... That wasn't right. This one in particular had a blue set of peepers! Staring down at Pixie, the Pokemon leaned forward in a stance which could only be described as looking for a battle of its own. It seemed with the Venonat swarming the area, they had barged in and played havoc on the ecosystem. Strutting around like they owned the place, it was easy to see how they thought they owned the place. Maybe Pixie and her team could put the Pokemon in their place. Despite its impressive set of eyes which were known to hone in on even the tiniest of prey, it perhaps hadn't been looking at Pixie's fight beforehand to know that she could carry herself pretty well in a battle. Pixie spent what felt like ages walking in the tall grass, before a blueish sphere jumped out. Stumbling backwards in confusion at this aggressive Pokemon, so different from the Rattata she caught moments ago. Quickly gaining her composer, she brushed off her skirt and grabbed a Pokeball off her belt and threw it.
A red beam lashed out to reveal a Rattata, Pixie stayed silent for second wondering her best cause of action. Aurora wasn't a strong pokemon but could she get a hit in before fainting. She sighed and held out her Pokeball. "Aurora i'm sorry, Return." she looked down be her side Serqet was ready to fight.
Pixie pointed and smiled. "Let's start this off with a leech seed!" she barked at Serqet. Serqet smirked and replied "Bulba!" it chirped. Before opening the bulb on it's back read to fire the seeds of her new ability. Pixie was scared, this Venonat she could feel it was stronger then he Rattata this was going to be a close one.

Examining the situation before jumping into attack, Pixie sent out her trusty Bulbasaur to battle this brilliant Venonat. With quality furs and dazzling eyes, the Venonat was worth the fight! Diving first into the battle, Bulbasuar fired a brown seed at the opponent, which exploded with vines wrapping around the Venonat, readied to drain its life any second now. The newcomer Venonat weren't familiar with the starter Pokemon in this area, but wasn't very happy with its body being wrapped by this ugly vines. At least if you're going to restrain it, use a prettier choice. With its eyes glowing as it stared at Serget, the bug type seemed to have done something magical almost, that made the Bulbasaur unable to use Leech Seed for a few turns now.

Pixie was impressed by Serqet, she hadn't missed a shot yet! Serqet puffed out her chest with pride and waited for the next move. She shouldn't be she took a little pride in watching the blue balled Pokemon, rolling around stuck. That was until Pixie noticed the glow in it's blue eyes, she didn't really know what it did and she watched on in waiting for something to happen but nothing did.
By the this time Serqet had gotten bored waiting for the next command, though she didn't know what the Venonat had done either. The pink haired teen pointed her finger right at the wrapped Venonat. "Hit him with a tackle, Serqet!". Serqet looked relieved that she finally got around to commanding her and she lowered her head to once again do what she knew best.

With the mysterious attack from the Venonat raising a few question marks and uncertainties, it was best to simply continue on with the battle. So far, Serqet had proved her worth, she was a tough little Bulbasaur and even if this swarming Venonat thought that it ruled the roost due to be special or whatever, Serqet was going to be putting the fluffy bug back into it's place. In truth, the swarm of Venonat really had put a strain on the usual locals that lived along Route 29. With their sharp eyes, the Venonat were able to search and seek out food quicker, making it that much more difficult for the younger Pokemon to find enough berries for themselves. Then they had been teasing the few youngster trainers in the area with their Supersonic attack. It simply wasn't on and Pixie sorting out just one Venonat would be helping the others out a bunch!
Chuckling to itself, the Venonat appeared to like the confusion on both Serqet and Pixie's faces after the Disable attack but truly, the battle was just getting started. For now, Serqet wouldn't be able to use another Leech Seed but that still didn't stop the fact that the blue eyed Venonat was currently wrapped in these life sucking vines. No matter how hard it tried to twist and turn, there was just no breaking free, so it had to make do for now. Snorting in amusement at the sight, Serqet soon reared herself and with the order leaving Pixie's lips, meant that the Bulbasaur began her front on assault. Charging toward the tangled Venonat, the Bulbasaur tackled head first into the furry bug, causing it to shriek in surprise as it felt it's body trip backward. That attack was much tougher than it was expecting.
Realising it had to be a bit more serious, the unusual creature flicked the antenna upon it's head before fluffing up it's purple fur, as if to try and look intimidating by appearing to be larger. With a push of it's feet, the Venonat dabbed it's whole body forward, using all of it's weight to tackle Serqet back, to which the Bulbasaur stood her ground and grunted from the small injury. Luckily, Pixie's previous order was about to help Serqet out. Draining some life from the Venonat, the vines suddenly tightened around it's body before a number of faint, green orbs which looked almost like fireflies, floated back toward Serqet's bulb on her back. Regaining a small bit of health, it was becoming clear who had the upper hand.

Pixie cheered as Serqet went speeding into the venonat, her little bulbasaur had quite the head on her and she was impressed. But her happiness couldn't stay for long, as she was still worried about that the glowing eyes meant and she could feel it from her partner too. They didn't falter Pixie again pointed at her finger at the fluffed out bug Pokemon "hit it with other tackle!"
Serqet again got ready a little uneasy from the start of this battle, but she knew she wasn't going to lose. Serqet after all was not a losing type to lose anytime soon. "Bulba!" she chirped and put her head down. She dug her feet into the soft dirt below and catapulted her self forward in hopes to give her little body more speed.
