The body of the Venonat had begun to rise and sink, indicating that it was at a loss of breath. The battle thus far had been tense, with this cheeky yet rare Venonat using it's powers to force Serqet to forget a move but in turn, had been wrapped up in vines. Still unable to squirm itself free, the fluffy insect had slowly realised that the harder it tried to escape, the tighter the vines became. Not only that but it was almost certain that they were draining away it's energy, leading to it's current state. The Bulbasaur had a hard head, that much was certain, but if it weren't for these intrusive seeds, there was no doubt that it would be able to push further in terms of battle prowess. Tiny fangs rattling beneath it's fur, the other thing that it couldn't understand was why the Bulbasaur still seemed so energetic.

With her trainer supporting her from the sidelines, Serqet was also certain that she would be the victor in this encounter. From draining it's health, the Bulbasaur could sense the Venonat's depleting energy and it wouldn't be too much longer. Throwing herself forward with a number of speedy steps, the Bulbasaur prepared herself to tackle head first into the Venonat once again. Shrieking, the Venonat looked from left to right, as if trying to decide which way to dodge but as it tried to make a move, it tripped over itself. Aiming straight for the now fallen bug, Serqet slammed forward with the side of her body, causing the Venonat to squirm about in discomfort. But incredibly, it was still able to stand, this was a very determined bug. Staggering back up despite it's low health, to add insult to injury, Serqet's leech seed kicked in once more. Though despite everything, it tripped forward in order to tackle the Bulbasaur straight back. It was a weak attempt but it was a fighter.

Pixie was truly excited she could tell by the way the Venonat acted Serqet was doing good damage. This fight was going to be over soon enough, and that weird looking Venonat was to be hers. "Serqet you're doing an amazing job, this our last fight before heading to Cherrygrove" she accounted to her Bulb Pokemon. She took a deep breath and looked the Venonat straight in the eyes.

You will be mine Venonat and we will make a great team" she told it cockily. She grabbed a pokeball ready to throw once she'd knocked it out. "let's finish this Serqet tackle!" She barked once again.

GRAYE'S MARINADES

The Venonat saw the Bulbasaur come charging at it and tried with it's final strengh to mive out the way but sadly for the Venonat it couldn't. It was seemingly was too weak to dodge and felt the balbasaur hit into it with fall force. This attack made the Venonat fly back as it's eyes closed while it made a final "Venonat!!" Not long after the cry it's body fell to the floor with view of it belly moving up and diwn. This venonat would be fine but it would need to rest for a bit before it could do anything else. But if the trainer who defeated it decided to capture it could be healed the normal trainer way but only time would tell.

Pixie watched as the Venonat fell and couldn't get back up again to fight, she sighed she had did it. She pulled out a Pokeball and returned Serqet she smiled down at the red orb that held her little tackle machine. A smile graced Pixies pale cheeks,
"Well done Serqet you did us proud" . Sliding the ball into her backpack she grabbed other, one with nothing into.

She keeled down in front of Venonat "Hey, little guy" she started but the Venonat puffed up in anger but still didn't move. "oh little girl sorry..." she wasn't sure how to gender most Pokemon. Other then easy ones, like pikachu's tail. "I'm not sure what's wrong with you, and what's made your eyes that colour. But i'd like you to come along with me and Serqet. I'll call you Skadi what you say?" she lowered the Pokeball in front of Venonat who looked it for a long time before jumping in.

The next job was to move the next city of CherryGrove. She felt like she'd be back her soon, but for now she wanted to get Venonat and her Rattata to Pokemon Center to heal. With that she left Route 29 behind her and made her way to the city.
