Hmm... just for the fun of it, what are you afraid of in life? And if you don't want to talk about it too much, then that's fine.
For me, three fears I can think of off the top of my head would be tornadoes, big, nasty bugs, and to top it off with a fancy term... ophidiophobia. That means I'm mortally terrified of snakes. Some of you already know why, but I won't dig into that.
Anyway, the fear of tornados is common around here since I live in tornado alley. Yeah, gets to be fun. Tornado season starts, so I begin to throw all my shit in the bunker. I just always wondered why a lot of houses here never have basements...
And the fear of bugs? Well, I won't freak out over a moth or something. But around here, in the summer, these damn things get huge. And I mean HUGE. Spread out your hand and imagine a spider or a wasp roughly about that size. Scary shit.
What about you?

I'm sorry about bringing up snake Pokemon the other day when you have ophidiophobia. I'll be sure not to do it again. Your fear of tornadoes is perfectly understandable too; like you said, you live in an area that's constantly experiencing them. I myself have an absolutely paralysing fear of insects, bugs and creepy crawlies. Even the tiniest thing sends me into hysterics. Which is odd because if some 6'5 man barged into my house with a knife i'd be more than willing to try and tackle him somehow. *shrugs* As for anything else... Ah! Hospitals are a definite. I know they're meant to be places of recovery but I always view them as places of dying as I just get that foreboding feeling every time I visit them. Plus all the associations with hospitals such as drips (Which I loathe) really don't do anything to make me like them. So those are my two i'd say. I can't really think of any other fears. Which is probably good in this circumstance. ;D

I'm incredibly afraid of Earthquakes(as I found out yesterday), Vomit, and .... for odd reasons, Beansprouts.
xD;; The earthquakes is kind of a normal fear. I went through my first one yesterday, it was a 7.2 , but it was pretty far away. D; It still made my house shake though.
For vomit-- I was almost puked on by my best friend in first grade. Rofl. I don't know why that scarred me so horribly. I'm constantly panicking that someone's gonna throw up around me, so I try to avoid large crowds. Going to a school where people are hungover all the time and vomitting all over the place is not good for mimi. xDD;;
And for beansprouts. Hell, I dunno. 8C They creep me out for unknown reasons.

I'm scared of being horribly mutilated. Which ... I suppose anyone is. But nothing really scares me more. The thought of experiencing such pain ... it's just chilling. Kind of on the same note, I get really nervous when I'm around people who're handling knives. I can handle them fine, but when I know I'm not in any control of one near me it worries me.
I've also got a fear of being locked up and being confined in small spaces. Which again, i guess is fairly normal.

I fear not death but the fact that if I died, I wouldn't know what's going on in the world. If anyone cares that I'm gone etc. Death itself isn't that scary IMO.

I accept death for what it is and would like to die someday. Now, I wouldn't want to die tomorrow or anything! There's still a lot I would like to do, but I wouldn't want to be immortal. There are things you just better leave to the natural process. Everybody dies someday. That's a part, if not truly the end, of life.
And I've been thinking about this the other day... it wasn't on the top of my head when I made this topic, and my thoughts drifted to it recently. But another fear I guess I have is giving birth and being pregnant. In honesty, I'd like kids some day, but... the whole process of pregnancy really frightens me. I guess I'm still in the mentality that kids just pop up out of nowhere and the real process seems way to other worldly for it to be true. And for a baby to grow inside me...? Maybe I've watched that "Alien" movie a few too many times when I was little.

Thunderstorms, because where I live, this tends to get knocked up to over 9000 levels. The fact that a bolt once managed to penetrate through a window and burn a hole in the wall of my house doesn't help matters; One of the worst ways I can think of dying is by electrocution (I know, weird), which is why I'm very, very paranoid about lightning and heavy-duty electrical equipment. When the shit gets started, it's off with the PCs and Routers, shut all the windows and blinds and throw towels over all mirrors.
Also, dead faces. I have a strong stomach for gore. Give me a body, a CSI episode, a skeleton any day; I've even harvested the bones of a Civet cat roadkill once for the heck of it and disposed of a beheaded rat which my class refused to, but I can't look at a person's 'death mask'. Period.

My fears are few but they're very intense.
First an foremost, my physical fears.
Spiders.
Any 8-legged creature bigger than my thumb results in hyperventilation. This is really not an exaggeration, the fear has steadily grown as I've gotten older to the point that it can be irrational. One of my biggest foreboding predictions is me driving 80 on the Interstate and a big, hairy spider crawling on my hand or the steering wheel. That, my friends, could be the end of me. XD Unfortunately, I always have spiders in my car. They come out about once a month and crawl on my windshield. Since my family has four cars, I park under the oak trees. Poor unfortunate me. Wolf spiders are the creepiest, if you don't have them where you live you should google them and you will understand why I hate that they are the most common spider in my area. Just two weeks ago I had one as big as my fist in my bathroom. What did I do? I shoved a towel underneath the door and left it for my dad to kill when he had the time.
My most rational fear is a psychological one. I fear being seperated from my family. I have a large extended family and we are all very close. I've already lost my 25 year old cousin in an accident and I'm not looking forward to possibly losing anymore, whether through death or other circumstances. In many ways I'm like a wolf or a labrador retriever, I grow very attached to my loved ones and protect them with my all. That's my understandable fear!
I'm also afraid of getting kidnapped, raped, and killed by strange men, but that's pretty much every woman's fear. I still sleep with my windows, open, though. XD
