It hadn't been long since Sharada finished an important mission, which had involved the female leading a group of Rocket Grunts into the Kimono Dance Theatre in the heart of Ecruteak City, in order to find a particular shipment. Taking control of the performance, she had managed to keep tight reigns on the flow, enough so that no one was needlessly hurt. Not only that, she had managed to arrange a meeting with the Director, in which stocks of Surf would be regularly filtered into the criminal organisation. Something which wasn't specifically listed in the memo but she received a few bonus points in return from. In fact, the brunette was beginning to make a name for herself, to the point where she had automatically been enlisted onto another mission almost immediately. "Urgh... Why did Royce peg me into this." Hidden in the outskirts of Cherrygrove City, Sharada's eyes scanned the mission briefing. It was yet another crate snatching job but this time, the move was known as Dig. "A couple from Kanto? Hm." Muttering to herself quietly in a disinterested tone, all she needed to do was break into a house and take the crate. It seemed simple enough.
"What do you think Ten-- Ah." Naturally being used to her Zoroark companion being close to her side, this was another reason why the mission felt a bit unusual. Leaving a number of familiar faces behind this time, Tenebrae was off on a mission of his own, to be disguised as a guest and infiltrate the Dance Theatre to ensure all was running smoothly. Rubbing a hand across the back of her neck, she couldn't help but feel somewhat concerned but his illusion powers had improved tremendously since he was a mere runt of a Zorua. Besides, he had taken along a number of her Pokemon for support, on the off chance that he was recognised. Leaving Sharada herself, with a number of younger, inexperienced Pokemon, it was about time for some of them to see the light of day. Or rather, the dead of night. Laying low within the depths of Route 30, Sharada was calmly waiting for the darkness to draw in. There were both positives and negatives to attacking at either day or night time but waiting for all to be quiet just felt like the better thing to do. Preparing the co-ordinates on her map, as soon as the time was correct, she would move into the streets. Stealth wasn't her preferred option but to avoid too much attention, it was sometimes necessary.
Clad in her typical black uniform, Sharada tugged a black hat over the top of her head to somewhat hide her face. Her Poketch ticking to exactly 11PM, she lowered her arm and began the mission. Creeping out from the undergrowth, Sharada entered the city not from the typical exit but from amongst the trees which edged along the perimeter. Checking every angle multiple times to ensure that she wouldn't be spotted or followed, Sharada cautiously moved about the city streets, sticking to the darkest shadows to avoid being seen. It was a long and tedious process as the target home was on the other side of the city but certainly enough, she reached the building. Squatting in a alley way close by, Sharada double and triple checked the given co-ordinates just to ensure that she was in the right place. It was better to be careful than charge into the wrong home. Once she was absolutely certain, the brunette made a fast paced sprint across the road, ducking immediately beneath the window edge and moving toward the rear entrance. When at the back of the home, Sharada cautiously peered into the nearest window, checking to see if anyone was inside. Luckily, the room she would end up opening the door into didn't have it's lights on and for now, that was the best indication that this would be an acceptable way into the home.
Holding her gloved hand to the door knob, she carefully gave it a push but a strict lack of movement meant that it was definitely locked. Cursing under her breath but expecting it all the same, Sharada was no good at picking locks but she had an alternative. Pulling out a Pokeball, she released one of her Pokemon out into the open. A large, purple snake with wild markings, known as Cyanide the Arbok. Tongue slithering out from her closed maw, the Arbok loomed over Sharada curiously, trying to understand the human's gestures. "Cyanide. Use Acid." Whispering her command, Sharada edged away from the door to give the Arbok enough space. Sliding forward, the serpent moved her head towards the handle and lock, releasing an acidic ooze which began to burn away at the door in moments. A strong odour wafted in the air but it didn't take long for the acid to work it's magic, as Sharada intended. Holding up a hand to signify for Cyanide to stop, Sharada shuffled forward and pushed her hand against the door. The area were the handle and lock had been was now a gaping hold, the mechanism keeping the home locked and safe completely melted. Cautiously pushing the door open, the Rocket crept inside with the Arbok following after her.
Finding themselves in what appeared to be the kitchen, there was another door which led out into the hallway, where the living room with a single light on was situated. Sneaking on ahead, Sharada managed to avoid making contact with anything, apart from the sound of her lightly tapping boots against the smooth floor. Cyanide had more difficulty, her long body brushing against many of the lower cupboards but nothing to draw too much attention. As the pair made their way into the hall way, it became apparent that the television was on, as the sound of a programme and over layered mumblings could be heard. "That must be the guy and his wife." Sharada concluded to herself, looking back to Cyanide to make sure she was still following safely. Crouching her way to the Living Room entrance, the brunette took a moment to regain her breath before letting her presence be known. Standing up abruptly, she flung open the door, in hopes that that would be enough to turn their attention her way. "Guess who?!" Calling out in a playful tone of voice, whilst Sharada herself had never met the family, they were old victims of Team Rocket and would likely recognise the blazing red R. Waiting for their full attention, Sharada then moved into the first phase of her plan, getting the duo out of the way. "Cyanide! Glare!" Stepping into the Living Room, Sharada made the door way free for the Arbok to slither in. The brunette hoped that the paralysing eyes of the Pokemon would cause the two to freeze on the spot, then she could tie them both up in some way. TR Dig quest! Shifted team and items around. Using Glare on the man and his wife to paralyse them.

Victims of a Team Rocket invasion of their home many years ago in Cerulean City in Kanto, Mr.Dig and his wife had decided to up and move from their quaint settling to escape the bad memories they experienced years ago. A number of their friends and relatives had sung highly the praises of Johto. Move to Johto, it's completely different from Kanto. Lowest crime out of all the regions they said. Following their advise and relocating to the quiet suburbs of Cherrygrove City, they would be traumatised that their past would come back to haunt them. History always had a funny way of repeating itself. Still conscious of having their home broken into and invaded in the past, the Dig family had become paranoid and security minded more so than your average family. Challenged with the sight of numerous locks on their back door, it meant Sharada was in for some trouble if she wanted to gain entry. However, the brunette was wily. Improvising smartly by corroding the lock with Cyanide the Arbol's potent acid, it meant that access to the target's abode wasn't going to be a problem. Dissolving the lock mechanisms as if they were ice on a hot summer's day, the Rocket had managed to gain access to the house. All that remained now was subduing the couple, finding the crate and making out of there like a bandit. Making her intrusion into their home, the couple were completely ignorant to the burglar. Lazing in front of their TV, looking at the sofa, the husband, Mr.Dig raised a hand to cover his mouth as he yawned. His wife sat close to him and watched the TV intently. It appeared a news report was airing. "...Reports are on the rise of increased criminal activity in the Johto region. The criminals are claiming themselves to be part of Team Rocket, the criminal organisation that disbanded several years ago..." Letting out a worried sigh, Mrs. Dig looked to her partner. "It's terrible. I can't believe Team Rocket has returned. And they've followed us here!" Sharing her concern, he tried to make light of the situation. "It is terrible... But don't worry. They may have turned up in Johto too but i'm sure they weren't relocating because we did! That would be... HUH?!" As Sharada came out of nowhere and surprised the couple, they both stood to their feet. "NOOOOOO!" Shrieked the wife, the husband on the other hand was quite through with invasions. "That does it... I'll-Ngrk!" Before fully being able to exert his pent up anger towards the Rockets, the paralysing glare of Cyanide had stopped them dead in their tracks. Becoming as stiff as planks, Cyanide's glare had proven useful in subduing them without harm. The Arbok would no doubt by a crucial instrument in the success of the mission with all the utility it boasted. Losing their balance, the couple toppled over onto the floor, leaving them at Sharada's mercy. Paralysed and unable to speak, it meant Sharada now had free roam of the house. If she wanted to get that supply of TMs, she would need to look throughout. Sharada has successfully subdued the couple without harm! You must now locate the supply crate from the following areas.

The attack from Arbok was enough to paralyse a Pokemon on the spot, so it was no wonder that the couple were also quick to take to the effects of the petrifying glare. Not wanting to physically hurt them, Sharada still needed to somehow keep them quiet and out of the way. This had been an effective method, now she just had to make sure that it would stay that way. Lifting a hand to request Cyanide to halt her glare, Sharada stepped further into the Living Room, eyes looking across the collapsed pair. They were both breathing, which was obviously a good sign but she didn't know how long the paralysis would last for. Looking around the room, the brunette spotted a pile of neatly folded shirts and decided to use them to her advantage. It a mission where time was of the essence, everything and anything that seemed useful was better than nothing. Wringing up a pair of shirts, she used them as a temporary gag, in case either of them managed to get enough movement back to scream or shout. Tying them up tightly enough, she did the same to both of their hands, by knotting their wrists together with the cloth behind their backs.
Wiping a gloved hand across her forehead, Sharada had actually been smart enough to consider that the two would recover quickly, thus tying them up in such a way to avoid future interruptions. Doing all she could do for the time frame she had available to her, the brunette motioned for Cyanide to come closer. "Cyan. Keep them both coiled up. Not too tightly, we don't want to hurt them." With an understanding hiss, Sharada then struggled to heave the bodies of both Mr Dig and his wife toward the main body of Cyanide. Beginning to wrap herself around the pair, this was the final safety measure for Sharada, enough for her to feel satisfied atleast. "Phew..." Not used to actually being able to use her own muscles in such a way, the brunette straightened herself up, giving the cobra a gentle pat on her nose. "Stay here for me and keep an eye on them. If anyone comes in, call out for me. Good girl." Speaking in brief whispers, the Arbok understood her role in the mission. Staying behind to keep the couple under tight wraps, it left Sharada a Pokemon short in case there was a fight to be had but if it was possible, she would avoid it.
Running a finger along the collar of her uniform as if to try and cool herself down, it was now time to find this crate of TM's. Standing in the middle of the Living Room, nothing out of the ordinary could be seen, meaning that it was likely elsewhere. The home was described as small but it was big enough to be a hassling distraction. She had passed through the Kitchen already but it was possible she had passed by it. Another room went off of the Living Room, likely another sitting room or sorts. Getting the feeling that it would be somewhere on the upper floor, Sharada signalled to Cyanide a farewell, as she begun her exploration. Cautiously creeping up the stairs, the brunette kept in mind the possibility of someone else being in the home. As she reached the upper landing area, she was presented with two further doors, a Bedroom and Bathroom. The Bathroom hadn't even crossed her mind but it was when the brunette looked up that something interesting caught her eye. Whilst she had been keeping an eye out for potential security cameras, instead, a thin cord hung above her head.
Reaching up, she gave it a pull and ever so slowly, a trap door opened, followed by an unfolding ladder. Leading up to what she believed to be the Attic, to Sharada, it seemed like a logical place to store goods. Having them out in display in any other part of the home just seemed a bit strange considering it was work related. For now, it was a good place to start her search. Making sure the ladder was sturdy enough, Sharada stepped up the rickety beams, peering her head inside of the room once she had reached the top. Coughing slightly at the amount of raised dust, she flapped her hand about in the air as she made it to the top. Squinting her eyes, she felt around the wall for a light switch. Finding some sort of pulling cord, she had to give it a good number of tugs before a lone, hanging light bulb shed an ounce of light in the room. Trying to hold herself back from coughing, the small amount of light shone faintly across the room, presenting what appeared to be a very messy workshop. Bits of paper and equipment all over the place, she began to search through some of it. "Could this be where he makes Dig? Not that I get how they are made in the first place..." Pushing bits around and digging through sheets of paper, it wasn't entirely clear if the shuffling Sharada had started to hear was her, herself, or something else entirely. Exploring attic.

Having decided to venture up into the house's attic, only time would tell if Sharada had managed to get lucky and find the Dig stash right off the bat. Orientating herself as she found a chord and turned on a dim light for the area, it seemed like there were some definite traces of TM manufacturing going on here. A number of work benches, computers and dusty equipment were tucked away in a corner of the attic. As the Rocket began to trawl through all the various junk scattered about, it seemed like there were a number of TMs just lying there. Upon further inspection it seemed that they were blank and not yet overwritten with the necessary data a Pokemon needed to master a new move. As disappointing as it was, there was at least some prospect to be had in the fact that there was such a number of these blank TMs and a workbench tucked away up here. Examining through more of the junk, there appeared to be a tatty, worn newspaper lying on the edge of the desk. Reading over some of the information alluded to an event roughly around seven years ago. The article writes about a couple who were burgled and their valuable possessions stolen, all at the hands of Team Rocket. There was quite an in depth bit of journalism regarding how nefarious the group were and how they threaten the very Kanto way of life. Part of the article showed a picture of the scene of the crime. There was no doubt about it. The people shown in the photo were none other than the couple Sharada had tied up downstairs. Other than that, there were no other real juicy bits of information. Leaving her with the dead silence of the attic, there was a sudden noise which came completely out of the blue. *THUNK THUNK THUNK*
The banging noise dying down almost immediately as it had started, it was possibly some Pokemon misbehaving outside. Nevertheless, having snooped around enough in the attic, it seemed as if there were no other points of interest. Thankfully there were still a number of other rooms to examine. Sharada would just have to be quick in securing this and hope nobody was onto her. The attic yields nothing... Continue your search in locating the supply crate from the remaining areas.

Looking around the work space, there had indeed been a number of TM like items but even from a glance, she could tell that it wasn't what she was looking for. The case would usually have a coloured disc inside and these were all empty. Eyeing the computer on a dusty looking desk, she pondered on booting it up to take a look but not being the most tech savvy as well as being short on time, decided against it. Chances were the Dig family would either heighten security or move away after this, otherwise she would consider giving Tobias a nod in the right direction. If he could end up somehow gathering enough data, to work out how they were created, then the family wouldn't be a target anymore. Unable to spend too long thinking about it, she continued to search high and low for any further clues, her line of sight suddenly being drawn to a lone newspaper clipping sitting on the desk. Curiosity getting the better of her, the brunette lifted the page. "Local couple victims of Team Rocket burglary..." Reading the headline out loud, her eyes scanned the written story. She was already aware that the Team Rocket organisation had infiltrated when back in Kanto. The mission dossier said as much. But it sounded a bit... over dramatic, of Team Rocket. Obtaining Dig and utterly destroying the couples home, there was hardly a need to go so far, for someone who could create something so important. It didn't make sense to her but then again, she would never understand the mindsets of certain criminal types. Laying the page back down, Sharada gave the room one final glance and was about to leave when she heard a loud noise. Freezing on the spot, the brunette listened closely for any sounds going on below. It didn't sound like Arbok but she was weary that someone might be lurking outside. She had been as quiet as possible whilst entering but the couple did scream and for all Sharada knew, they could have arranged for a guest to visit. Walking to the exit of the attic, she decided to push on rather than investigate the sound downstairs.
Flicking off the light switch and descending the wooden ladder, before Sharada went back down the stairs, it only made sense to check out the other upstairs room as well. Peering in from the bathroom door frame just to quench her curiosity, the small room held no sign of the crate and thus, she ventured into the only other room on the upper floor, the bedroom. Lifting her hand, she flicked on the switch, the illuminating the room to make it appear much clearer. A typical room with various bits of furniture, the brunette got struck right in but unlike the other mindless grunts in the organisation, didn't rip the place apart.

The method in which Sharada searched was perhaps one of the more obvious examples of her standing out from the rest of the Rocket mobsters. As demonstrated in the newspaper article with the photographic evidence, the first time around they made this burglary, they spared no effort in ransacking the entire house. Even going above and beyond just to wreck the house just because. No doubt if any other Rocket grunt had been sent on this mission they would have already turned half the house upside down, nay unleashed a wrecking ball of destruction on the couple's abode. This time around, Sharada had entered into the bedroom. It was a sizeable quarters and had a king sized bed with a number of side cabinets either side of it. There were also other various bits of furniture, a vanity, a chaise lounge and a number of quite impressively sized wardrobes. Whether the crate of TMs was hidden in any of those was of a definite possibility. Sadly, before Sharada could fully investigate these areas, the same noise from before sounded throughout the house. Only this time, it was far louder. Whatever was the cause of this noise was in close proximity. *THUNK THUNK THUNK* Before getting a chance to try and understand what the source of the noise was, it made itself known. Crashing through from out of the floorboards, a trio of heads popped out and let out an angry growl. If Sharada knew her Pokemon she would be aware this was none other than a Dugtrio, the evolved form of Diglett. It appeared that many years ago, Mr and Mrs Dig owned a Diglett but since time marched on, the Pokemon evolved beyond its limits into something stronger. Whether it regretted being unable to fend off the Team Rocket grunt from the Cerulean escapade or it had evolved in order to protect its owners moving forward was uncertain but as of this moment in time, it could tell something was off. There seemed to be a little detail of this in the newspaper article from the attic about their Pokemon being harmed in the burglary. The couple usually allowing the Pokemon free reign of the house without keeping it remained in the Pokeball, it meant the Pokemon had been able to avoid Sharada's neutralisation when she first entered of the couple. Puffing through each of its red nostrils, the Pokemon seemed wrapped up in a mighty furore, one that only escalated upon seeing the big red R on Sharada's chest. It knew that symbol all too well and it meant none other than misfortune upon its trainers. Standing its ground, the Pokemon looked ready to take care of Sharada at any moment. She would no doubt have to defend herself if she wanted to escape this assignment unscathed. Encounter

Various amounts of large pieces of furniture, including under the large bed itself, the room held a number of places that the crate could be held. Starting by the doorway, Sharada's eyes couldn't help but linger across a particularly dainty looking vanity. Littered with all sorts of jewelry boxes, make up and cute ornaments, it seemed to attract the inner girly girl within her. Not that she was going to steal any of it but in a way, it reminded her of her own bedroom and then of her home. Rubbing a hand across her forehead, the brunette looked away, "Now isn't the time to get home sick..." About to continue on with her search, she wasn't able to explore any further than a mere few steps in before a familiar noise boomed once again. This time sounding far louder and closer, she wore a puzzled expression. About to go and lean down the stairs to check if her Arbok was okay, a sudden powerful vibration beneath her feet warned Sharada in just the nick of time.
Jumping out of the way, all of a sudden, a Pokemon burst up from beneath the floorboards at full force. There was no way that she wouldn't have avoided injuries if she hadn't moved when she did. "What the?!" Flabbergasted, as the uplifted dust from the uptorn floorboards settled, Sharada lowered her raised arms, only to see an incredibly angry Pokemon before her. "A Dugtrio? I see..." Thinking back to the article, she had indeed remember reading something about an injured Pokemon and very quickly, the pieces came together. "Was the creation of the Dig TM inspired by you, I wonder? Hmph." Not only did she now have a loose end to tie but she still hadn't found the crate and now the entire neighbourhood had likely been alerted by the loud noise. If they hadn't been, they would by the time Sharada had finished it. She needed the help of her own Pokemon against an opponent like Dugtrio and battles were never silent.
Pulling a Pokeball from her own holster, she tossed it forward into the room, the flash of light revealing that of a lone Wartortle. Wing like ears twitching, the Pokemon glanced between Sharada and the Dugtrio before bracing itself for battle. This cool turtle was ready for action. Obtained from a fellow Rocket after a previous mission success, she knew he had to be strong considering who it had been gifted from. "Caesar!" Sharada called, getting her mind ready for the battle as well. "Don't hold back, attack with Surf! Twice if you need to, we have to silence this Dugtrio!" Her opponent was an evolved form, fast and likely had the families speciality attack, Dig. Hoping that her Wartortle could withstand the hit if it came to it, she watched as the Pokemon tightened the colourful Expert Belt around him head before going in with his watery attack.

The stalwart, intimidating protectors of the home, Dugtrio's ferocious growl echoed through the room, as well as the hole below it. Every movement seemed larger with the presence that Dugtrio, and every sound amplified. If anything, it worked against Sharada with as much noise as possible to alert the authorities if they managed to get here in time. Sharada wasted no time however, sending out her Wartortle to do the dirty work. The only line of defense, Dugtrio seemed not only to defend the crate but also it's home. Hell hath no fury like a territorial, angry Pokemon. Nostrils continued to flare as all 3 heads seemed to communicate effortlessly with eachother, deciding the best course of action. With the full intent of finishing this quickly, both Wartortle and Dugtrio stared eachother down before an explosive power began to circle each of the heads. Each head corresponded with a separate color. The energies swirled and streaked in the air before meeting in the center. The multicolored ray burst forward, slamming into the protective shell of Wartortle. Caesar staggered back but managed to regain his steps, energies reflected by the shell. A perfect defensive choice against this Dugtrio, Caesar used the time of defense to prepare the monumentous water attack that was requested of him. As soon as the energy fizzled into the air from the Dugtrio's Tri-Attack, Caesar opened his mouth. Water came out in torrents towards the Dugtrio, soaking not only it's body but also everything else in the room. Thankfully, there was lots of things to hold on to to avoid losing one's footing. Dugtrio fought, struggled, and writhed at the touch of the water, all three heads letting out angry growls. Before they could retaliate, the energy had been zapped from their bodies. The strength of the first Surf would be enough to knock out the Pokemon. Their body slipped down the hole in which they'd appeared, and the water followed, slowly draining the room for Sharada to continue searching. With the unconscious Dugtrio sliding back into the hole it had created, the room was left unprotected. Dugtrio had been an intimidating presence, but even the ground Pokemon, a practical Dig master, had fallen extremely short compared to Sharada's prowess with her Pokemon. Multiple structures held the possibility of housing the crate, but with the shaking ground of the battle and water damage, the vanity door had become ajar. Creaking ever so slightly, it opened to reveal what looked suspiciously like the case Sharada was looking for.

Faced with the tough Dugtrio, Sharada held her glance on the back of the Wartortle's shell, somewhat uncertain if this match up would work. This was the first time she had properly used Caesar in battle and she wasn't even the original owner of the Pokemon. There was no doubt that he would be even a little confused. But clearly the turtle was a battler, as he didn't even bat an eyelid at the brunette. Wearing a proud smirk as he eyed the opposing Dugtrio, Caesar merely wanted to hone his skills and become even stronger. To him, it didn't matter who owned his Pokeball and what type of path in life they took. If anything, the duo's first foe was an angry looking one, a perfect opponent to test out his watery powers. Having put her prize from an earlier mission to good use, she had taught the Wartortle Surf just before the battle and she was so glad that she did. Against something as impressive as a Dugtrio, it was a blessing to have Caesar willing to fight for her and in return, she had taught him a strong attack.
Striking the Wartortle first, Caesar managed to take the hit, the multicoloured beam crashing into his sturdy shell. Shrugging the damage off, the next thing Sharada knew, the entire room was drenched with a wave of water. It was to be expected of a move dubbed Surf but a twinge of guilt did roll over her. After all, the once neatly arranged bedroom was now completely ruined. "Great.." She muttered sarcastically under her breath, rubbing her gloved hand against the back of her neck. But atleast the two had won the battle in expert timing. For as soon as the Surf had hit, the Dugtrio retreated back into the hole it had arrived out from. "Phew... Good job, Caesar." Congratulating her Wartortle rather bluntly, she didn't have enough time to shower him with praise. Stepping past the water type, who flexed his arms as he felt rather pleased with himself, Sharada continued her search for the TM container. From the damage, something had captured her eye which needed immediate investigation.
Her boots treading across the pools of water which soaked the entire room, Sharada pulled open the door to the vanity, kneeling down to examine a suspicious case. "And what do we have here?" Laughing in disbelief, she couldn't believe that the one piece of furniture she had been admiring, held the one thing she was searching for. Popping it open, layers upon layers of TMs were placed inside. Hurriedly closing it back up and locking it, she turned to look at Caesar, "Great, it's time to get out of here." With her job done in her eyes, the brunette hurriedly withdrew the Wartortle and lifted the case. Taking it with her, she hurried across the landing space before dashing down the stairs, opening the door to the Living Room to spot Cyanide, the Arbok still keeping the two family members safe in her grip. "Let's go, Cyan!" The brunette ordered. But before the Arbok could even begin to uncoil herself, a noise from close by caused Sharada's ears to perk up. Lifting a hand as if to signal her Pokemon to stop, Sharada pulled a look of concentration. She could hear shuffling about again. Was it the Dugtrio making a return or was someone else about to make an appearance?
Time to split.

Now in the dead of night, it appeared all the raucous noise from searching for the crate and fending off the Dugtrio had alerted the neighbouring houses. A cosy little suburb, the sort of people that lived in these locales were not keen on being interrupted in the middle of the night and were always quick to report disturbances and noise complaints. With one such neighbour irritated by the Dig family's unusual late night noises, it seemed they had called in local law enforcement to tell them to quiet it down. Arriving around the same time Sharada located the crate, the officer drew closer and closer to the abode. "343, dispatch." Grabbing hold of the radio on pinned to his uniform on his chest, he appeared to be in direct correspondence with headquarters. "343 go ahead." A voice crackling from out of the radio, the officer wasted no time in responding. "343, en route to location. Investigating reported 507, over." "10-4." Drawing closer and closer, the officer stopped just short of knocking at the front door when he noticed something off down the side of the property. Carefully proceeding to check on the door, he was quick to observe it being ajar, signs of some sort of corrosive element weakening the lock. Not only this but the lights were on and muffled voices could be heard from within. Pushing his back up against the wall, he tapped into his radio. "343, dispatch." "343 go ahead." "Code 6 at reported location. Possible 459. Heading in to investigate, will radio for back up if necessary, over." "10-4 343. Will await your radio." Allowing the radio to die down, he quickly called forth a Pokemon to help him sweep the rooms in the event of a burglar. Summoning his trusty standard issue Growlithe, the duo went swiftly entering in through the door and made careful checks for any would be hostiles. It was only when Sharada called out again about making an exit that the police man knew their location. Heading them off, he appeared out of nowhere and with a flick of his torch, turned it on to try and blind Sharada. "FREEZE! PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!" He yelled with an authoritative tone. His Growlithe too appeared by his side and let out a warning growl as there was no doubt the place had been burgled and the perpetrator was right in front of them. "PUT YOUR POKEBALLS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!" Brandishing a night stick, he pointed it at Sharada and made a final warning. "LAST WARNING!" Trainer Encounter

With the TM case in hand, as Sharada rushed to the bottom of the stairs and into the Living Room, she called out for her Arbok to follow. Noticing that the couple had begun to regain their senses, a few muffled sounds escaped their gagged lips. But it was too late for them. Sharada had found what she was after and in their current state, it would be near impossible to untangle themselves and stop her in time. Yet whilst the brunette thought her visit to the home had been brief, truly, she had taken a moment too long. The earlier ruckus with the Dugtrio had alerted the quiet neighbourhood, enough for some of them to alert the local police and being such a small city, chances were that they had enough free time to investigate immediately. Having already arrived at the house before Sharada was even able to get a glimpse of the back door again, her clean escape had been tarnished. Ears picking up on the sound of quiet footsteps, the girl was suddenly blinded by an unexpected flash of light.
Dropping the case to the ground by her feet with a loud clatter, the brunette raised her arms to shade her eyes from the painfully strong glare of the flashlight before her. Pausing at the tone of voice and words the man spoke, it became very obvious just who this interfering person was. "Tsk. I was too slow." Cursing to herself as she raised her hands as if to surrender, the girl squinted her eyes open, able to use the cap on her head to shade her face from the beam of the torch. Able to make out the general shape of the Growlithe, which was confirmed to her to be a Pokemon of some kind by the growl, her eyes glanced to the feet of the man. She had been caught in the act by a Police Officer and now, the only way out of this was to use force. There would be no reasoning with a man of the law, even if their were a few shady types in the business. "Psh. Quiet down, I heard you the first time." Sharada muttered out loud, under her breath sarcastically, "You are making a big mistake, you know? Trying to get in my way.."
Challenging the man, her tone held a small hint of a threat. "You cop types aren't enough to scare me." Despite saying this, beads of sweat had begun rolling down her neck. It was a tricky situation, one she wanted to escape from before more appeared. With a swift motion, Sharada lowered one of her raised hands, grabbing a Pokeball from her holster and throwing it forward. Unsure of who she had chosen, yet another unfamiliar face emerged from the flash. A yellow Pokemon with baggy trousers stood, though he wasn't entirely happy to see Sharada. Being under the ownership of a fellow Rocket named Cletus, Buster had been taken away from him by a different trainer but had now somehow wound up back in the hands of Team Rocket. Leering his eyes from Sharada, to the police officer and then to the intimidating Growlithe, Buster didn't trust any of them. Shuddering, he had little choice but to follow his new trainers orders, in fear of being given another shock collar. "Aim for the Growlithe, use Rock Slide!"
Using Scraggy and ordering Leer and Rock Slide. (Running Shoes)

Sharada’s somewhat-threatening response didn’t seem to deter the officer at all, unsurprisingly. In fact, her answer had just validated his actions, and he carried on in the same manner with which he had started. Truncheon-bearing arm still outstretched in the Rocket’s direction, he continued. “WE WILL USE FORCE IF NECESSARY!” The nearby Growlithe took a couple of steps forward and growled menacingly to back up his partner. As soon as Sharada had whipped out her Pokéball, the cop turned to his Growlithe and nodded. The Fire type nodded back and ran toward the brunette, most likely attempting to stop her from resisting arrest. However, the Rocket’s Pokémon partner appeared in good time, blocking the way. The police officer let out a dismayed sigh. Seemingly resigning to the inevitability of battle, the fellow lowered his torch from Sharada’s face to light up the new entrant: a small, yellow-skinned reptilian creature with what appeared to be baggy trousers. The Growlithe glared fiercely at Buster, sensing the battle ahead. Buster took one look into his opponent’s eyes and flinched slightly, the intimidating gaze apparently a little too much for him. Looking a little surprised at seeing a Scraggy opposite him, the officer allowed his other arm to dangle by his side as he quickly barked his orders to Growlithe. “Growlithe, Ember!” The canine barked once before opening its jaws and releasing a series of small fireballs with a loud howl. The attack was remarkably concentrated, with each ember hitting its intended target rather than setting the house ablaze. Taking up a defensive stance and raising his arms to protect his body, Buster resisted as best he could. Once the firestorm subsided, Buster stared threateningly at his opponent. The look was similar to the look he’d received before, and Growlithe’s face changed slightly in what one might think was fear. However, this was only for a split second, so it would be hard to know for certain. “Growlithe!” called the officer, and his Pokémon quickly snapped out of whatever stupor it had been lulled into. “Ember!” the cop ordered once more, still speaking as concisely as anyone could without reducing the intended message. Growlithe barked again and let loose another powerful Ember attack. Buster tried to reduce damage as he had before with a change of posture, digging a heel into the floorboards while the flames struck his chest. Grunting softly in pain, the Scraggy waited the attack out patiently despite his obvious discomfort. Hearing his latest order, Buster contemplated whether he should follow them before reasoning that it’d be best not to risk more abuse from his new owner. Closing his eyes to focus, he summoned a few large orbs of brown-coloured energy. These energy balls quickly condensed into rather convincing-looking boulders and hit the ground with an almighty ‘THUD’. Picking them up one at a time, the Fighting type threw them at Growlithe. The dog-like Pokémon jumped to the right to try and dodge the first rock, but was clipped on the rear and fell to the floor rather uncomfortably, which left the rest of the rocks to strike it head on. It roared in pain, quite obviously taking significant damage from the blows. The officer looked horrified as he began to realise what might soon happen. His torch hand wavered rather close to his radio, as if he was preparing to call for help already. VS. IPF Officer

The appearance of the Police officer had been something Sharada needed to expect but cross her fingers and hope wouldn't happen. Just as she reached the final hurdle, they did indeed appear and it was nothing short of a hassle, in her mind. As she managed to release a Pokemon from their Pokeball, what stood to support her was a Scraggy but it wasn't just any baggy trouser lizard. She had obtained the Scraggy back through some backwards means, it was a choice she made to get herself in the good books of her squad boss. But the species also had its uses, the brunette had witnessed the strength of them first hand from a different trainer in the past. So she had no intention of giving it back to Cletus, the fellow Rocket grunt. If anything, Buster was now her own Pokemon and it would be treated the same as others she owned. It would take a bit of time but she just hoped that by the end of the road, the Scraggy would feel safe with his new master. She was a Rocket but she was by no means a horrible trainer or person.
As the torch light dropped from her face, the brunette was able to get a better look of just what she was up against. So far, it was only one officer. This was a good thing. If she could take down his Pokemon and shove him to one side, there was no doubt she could flee before any back up arrived. There was no telling if said back up was on the way or not but at this point, she hadn't heard or seen him attempt to call for any. Cherrygrove was a small city, the brunette could only hope that the Police force here was just as small. Resisting his attempt at arrest, Sharada smirked at his lack of words. In a way it was a good thing. Battling meant that the actions of their Pokemon did the talking and in Sharada's case, she had one or two that would be able to easily over power him, if she so chose. Springing from the man's side, his Growlithe was able to release a powerful burst of embers, ones which usually didn't burn so fiercely. Scorching the body of Buster, the Scraggy managed to sturdy himself before another wave of embers came his way.
It was then that the Scraggy intervened, reacting to Sharada's order despite his reservations. Creating and lifting rock like boulders, the Pokemon threw them forward with an impressive show of strength, knocking against the body of the Growlithe and causing a great deal of pain. It was then that the officer seemed to pause and Sharada felt her body tense. "Heh... Can't handle me on your own?" She scoffed, hoping to pull his mind away from the thought of calling for backup just yet. She just needed to keep him distracted for now. "But I guess I can't blame a simple cop like you for being unable to do your job properly. I mean, you must've already worked out that you're fighting a losing battle.." Trailing off, she turned back to Buster. "Another Rock Slide!" Repeating the previous order, it had been a success, so there was no reason not to do it again.
Scraggy uses Rock Slide.

The IPF officer warily looked on, eyeing up the situation and, more importantly, his opponent. Despite the Rock Slides that had just come Growlithe’s way, he hadn’t pulled out his radio and called for backup. Instead, he simply stood and continued to stare at Sharada and her Scraggy, his stance square to the opponent in a manner that’d make running out of this battle nigh on impossible. Unfortunately, the cop’s current situation seemed to favour the Rocket right now, but he still shook any lingering doubt from his mind and looked Sharada in the eye. “Hmph, can’t handle you? Don’t get so confident, Rocket; I’ve got plenty of fight left. You’re coming with me.” He had some degree of certainty in his tone which, whether faked or truthful, seemed to stir his Growlithe quite considerably. The Fire type snarled rather loudly at Buster, digging its back heels into the ground. “Enough talk! Growlithe, Ember!” The officer returned to speaking in as few words as he could manage. It didn’t seem like he had much intention of conversing with the enemy, though at least his attention was no longer on his radio. Growlithe barked as intimidatingly as it could. It promptly followed that by belching out another brightly coloured flurry of miniature flames. Once again, these were remarkably focused on their target. It would seem that the Growlithe had been trained to avoid spraying its flames over the battlefield. Quite a useful trait for a law enforcement Pokémon, avoiding unnecessary fires. Buster cried out in pain this time, as the Ember attack scorched one of his arms rather noticeably. The cop’s face was quite the sight as he saw the lingering burn; he seemed so happy that one might almost expect a fist-pump or cry of ‘YESSSS’ at the top of his voice. However, he remained rather silent, with just his face appearing jubilant. “You should quit now, young Rocket… before you hurt your Pokémon anymore,” he quickly uttered, though his tone of voice made it quite clear that he wasn’t expecting Sharada to change her mind. Before she could answer, Buster gave a show of his own spunk as he attacked through the pain of this unfortunate side-effect. He once more conjured forth boulders from pure energy, though this time they were much lower to the ground and thus fell a little more gracefully. he tried to pick up the first rock, Buster flinched. The burn was definitely holding him back, that much was evident. Nevertheless, he proceeded to throw his creations at the Growlithe one at a time, pummelling the canine mercilessly. After the onslaught, Growlithe found itself in a heap on the floor. Not unconscious, but very battered and bruised. Slowly, it got to its feet and yapped in defiance. Buster, however, had seemingly run his race. He fell down to the floor clutching his arm, unable to continue any further. “One last chance, Rocket. Give in now!” called out the officer, not taking a moment to admire his great fortune. VS. IPF Officer

Trying to keep the officer distracted enough to avoid the chance of back up arriving, the quiet yet stern man stood his ground. Leaving the small radio for the mean time, Sharada felt her shoulders loosen a little from the earlier weight of heavy tension. It was a situation she wanted to avoid, being completely surrounded by the local IPF. Especially when her mission was so close to completion to the point where no one had been physically hurt. Apart from the Dugtrio. But even if this man lost his Pokemon to her in battle, there was still a chance he would give her a good skirmish himself. Biting her lip subtly, it was something she would have to deal with when the time came, or atleast try and think of a Pokemon who could help her have a swift escape. Looking down to the Scraggy in front of her, even she couldn't foresee the unforgivable scenario which would befall upon her.
Fighting to defend himself, the Scraggy had tried his hardest to keep the Growlithe at bay but the young Pokemon was no strong enough to withstand the attacks from this well trained police canine. Not only did Buster receive yet another burst of flames to his body but they also lingered behind. Her eyes widening, she pulled an expression which contrasted against the officer's. This was one of disbelief, it was something she hadn't anticipated. Burnt, Buster managed to muster enough strength to attack but his strength had depleted immensely. Collapsing from the burn, the sight of her Pokemon being unable to battle was something that shook Sharada. Loss was something that didn't come often, she had tried her hardest to make sure none of her Pokemon would experience such a thing. But this time, she had failed to keep a close eye on her Scraggy.
Gritting her teeth, she listened to the words of her opponent. She had talked big to distract him but losing a Pokemon like this almost made her feel like a fool. Remaining silent, all she could do was think an apology to Buster, as she raised her arm and withdrew him from battle. "You think I care... If my Pokemon get hurt?" Speaking out in a dull, monotone, Team Rocket were notorious for treating Pokemon like tools and thus, she had to atleast pretend to fit the bill. "This one lost, it was weak.. But that just means I'll have to stop playing around with you and get serious." There was no need in teasing the officer with her younger, inexperienced Pokemon. It was time to bring out something which could handle the job. Putting Buster's Pokeball away and bringing out a second, this time, Sharada revealed that of a Haunter. A wicked grin stretching across the gaseous ghoul's face, the brunette also wore a smirk of her own, "Use Shadow Punch on the Growlithe!" It was a shame such a thing happened to Buster, it now meant taming him would be that much harder.
Switching to Haunter (Nezaria) and using Shadow Punch.
