Sharada’s response took her opponent by surprise. Mouth agape in shock, he took a moment to compose himself before replying. “You… truly don’t care? I knew that Team Rocket had a tendency to just use their Pokémon, but considering you’d barely damaged this property at all I’d expected you to be different.” Shaking his head in disbelief, the cop once again drank in all of the information. “Well, I guess we don’t need to worry about a lenient sentence, do we? Let’s finish this up quick, Growlithe!” Seemingly expecting another easy KO, the officer waited on his opponent’s next move. It was clear that his mood had been boosted seeing the strength of Buster, or lack thereof. He was apparently convinced that Sharada’s other Pokémon were of similar levels. His confusion, then, when a Haunter shot out of the Rocket’s Pokéball was quite understandable. “A Haunter, eh? So we’re just getting started then.”The policeman furrowed his brow as he considered his next move. Growlithe wasn’t looking too healthy, but he didn’t seem to be paying much attention to his partner’s condition now. His eyes were fixed firmly on Nezaria, watching her every move. “Growlithe, Ember!” he called but, before Growlithe could even move, Nezaria struck. Hands coated in some kind of menacing-looking aura, she punched forward with all of her strength. The aura flew off of her hands, creating the illusion of arms stretching out towards Growlithe. The small Fire type did its best to dodge the attack, but the fists chased it wherever it went. It looked as if it’d be thoroughly impossible to shake this attack, as if it homed in on one’s own soul. Unsurprisingly, the Shadow Punch connected with its target, and Growlithe could take no more. The canine collapsed to the ground, lifeless. The officer bit his lip, trying to moderate his reaction in the present company. He quickly recalled his partner and pulled out another Pokéball. “My apologies, Growlithe. Take a rest. Pikachu, go! His second ball released a small, yellow rodent. One that would be quite familiar to any trainer, given its popularity. The Pikachu glared at Haunter, undeterred by its evolved status and generally disturbing smile. VS. IPF Officer
Dean’s Growlithe | Level 12 | Intimidate Health: 0% (0/38 HP)Status: KO’d No moves VS Sharada’s Nezaria | Level 25 | Levitate Health: 100% (65/65 HP) Status: Healthy Nezaria used Shadow Punch!
Dean’s Growlithe has been defeated!Nezaria gained 600 experience for her efforts. She reached Level 26 (49/2,107)! Dean sends out his Pikachu (Level 9)! Will Sharada switch Pokémon or continue? [Placing experience gain in Transfer thread, as I always do. Belatedly putting a -1 to Buster’s Happiness up there too, noticing that the rest of Sharada’s Pokémon have Happiness stats.]

Sharada's mind continued to drift back and forth between the battle and the state of her Scraggy. It wasn't the fact that he had lost a battle which was the problem, he was still a young Pokemon and clearly, the officer had trained his Growlithe decently. What truly bothered her was the fact that she didn't step in sooner, to either return him back from harm or heal him up with an item. It was something that she could have done, even despite having the vile red R plastered across her chest. For the brunette, the loss was her own fault and down to miscalculation. For future, she would use this battle as reference and attempt to avoid too much damage for her younger or more inexperienced party members. Eyes switching up, they hovered on the back of the Haunter floating before her. The grinning ghoul was hard to read but she pulled her weight in battle.
Pausing at the officer's surprise, Sharada briefly glanced to one side, looking over her shoulder to avoid his line of sight. Apart from upstairs, where the battle with the Dugtrio had taken place, she hadn't made a particular mess and would've wanted to avoid wrecking the home as much as possible. Breathing a disinterested sigh, she tried to shake off his speculation of her being different than a usual Rocket grunt. "My methods may be different but our goals are still the same. My Pokemon are simply tools to help me finish the job, nothing more." An eerie cackle lingering from Nezaria, Sharada paused before raising a hand and rubbing the bridge of her nose, comfortingly. "I underestimated you.. In more ways than one." Peering over her fingertips, she curled her top lip. "But before you work out anything else, I'll just take care of you quickly.." Muttering to herself, she allowed Nezaria to take the lead, the ghostly apparition finishing off the final shred of health that the Growlithe held.
Coiling a bit of hair away from her face and behind her ear, from an attack like that, surely it was clear enough that she had been holding back from the beginning. She had intended to battle differently but sometimes, it was easier to not take the risk. It was then that a Pikachu was sent forward, the cute, yellow rodent glaring at the grinning spectre without any fear. "Hm. So you don't want to give up and move out of my way?" She questioned but was once again more of an out-loud mutter to herself. "Fine.. Have it the hard way." Nodding towards the Haunter, the purple gas whirled in the air before heading for the Pikachu, "Another Shadow Punch!"

The IPF officer continued to stare in shock at the Rocket grunt before him. Now, however, his surprise was less about her being the typical Team Rocket member and more about the degree to which she didn’t care. “You truly are disgusting. This really is how they train their members after all.” He muttered quite audibly, making it a little unclear whether he intended his opponent to hear him or not. The amazement remained clear as daylight on the cop’s face while he thought about his next move. He muttered something inaudible, perhaps trying to work out his options in his mind. The appearance of Nezaria had obviously knocked his confidence, no matter how much he tried to hide it. He looked down at Pikachu and spoke up one more time. “Rocket, I’ve given you every chance to show remorse. Don’t expect to get away lightly now. Pikachu, Thundershock.”Pikachu stepped forward and glared at Nezaria. The little Electric type looked a lot less worried about its opponent than the cop did. None of the Haunter’s usually disconcerting or demoralising tendencies looked like working, which was a testament to the IPF’s training regime if nothing else. Pikachu began to spark with electricity, but Nezaria was far too quick for it. Once more, she punched the air, shooting fists of ghostly energy toward Pikachu. The realisation of what might be coming quickly dawned on the little mouse and it froze in place like the proverbial rabbit in headlights. Knocked square in the face, Pikachu quickly fell to the ground, completely unconscious within less than a second. “Pikachu!” The officer yelled, recalling his second Pokémon as speedily as he could. He reached for his radio and called into it, panic etched onto his face. “343, dispatch. Suspect is escaping. Send backup now!” Clearly, the cop knew what was about to happen. The radio crackled in response. “10-4 343.” Sharada had the chance to make her move, if she was ready. VS. IPF Officer
Dean’s Pikachu | Level 9 Health: 0% (0/28 HP)Status: KO’d No moves VS Sharada’s Nezaria | Level 25 | Levitate Health: 100% (65/65 HP) Status: Healthy Nezaria used Shadow Punch!
Dean’s Pikachu has been defeated!Nezaria gained 450 experience for her victory (499/2,107). She also gained 1 Happiness! Rawk Hawk gained 1 level from watching and reached Level 21! Congratulations! Sharada has defeated Policeman Dean! Dean dropped £500 while fumbling for his radio! The cop is radioing for backup! Make your escape while you still can! [Morri, did you add the one level I missed for Hawlucha earlier, or should I tack that on? Updating Nezaria to +2 Happiness regardless, as she hasn't gained any at all since capture, it would appear (and I missed +1 Happiness earlier).]

Sharada was used to back handed comments and words of disgust when faced with opponents, or she was atleast getting there. Looking away with a look of disinterest, she rubbed the back of her neck wearily. After a while, such comments felt samey and old, it was almost as if her skin was growing thicker, metaphorically. Neither her Arbok or Haunter cared enough to bat an eyelid either. Their goal was simply to escape by any means necessary and by now, it was looking as if victory was just a reach away. Remaining silent, she was so focused on planning her escape route that she didn't notice how knocked in confidence the officer had become. In the long run, it would work in her favour. Floating forward, Nezaria moved too quickly for the Pikachu and with a single punched, knocked the electric rodent out.
Releasing a very subtle sigh of relief, Sharada wore a much more serious expression. This would be it, her moment of escape, if she missed her chance then she would be taken away or locked up. Either of which, no one would come to her rescue. Remaining silent, she watched as the man grabbed his radio and called for backup in a rush of panic but as soon as the response crackled through, the brunette was on the move. "NEZARIA!!" Sliding forward, the cackling ghoul swooped right up into the face of the officer, blocking his vision of Sharada and ultimately to distract him. In this time, the grunt knelt forward, grabbing the handle of the case holding the stash of TM's and lunging forward. "You should've backed off, pig!!" Her voice hissed, raising her arm with full force, so that the case swung upward, straight through the ethereal body of the Haunter and coming into contact with the officer's chin.
In unison, Cyanide slithered forward, using her long body to tackle into the man, pinning him against the wall to give Sharada enough space to flee. Manoeuvring through the kitchen, Sharada felt the cool air of the night touch her cheeks, turning quickly with her Arbok's Pokeball held in her spare hand. Withdrawing the Pokemon, the brunette hoped that the man had been stunned enough for now, as both she and her Haunter fled into the night. Hiding amongst the shadows, Sharada weaved in and out of the nearby alleyways, Nezaria floating ahead to pin point any potential threats. As soon as she felt that the coast was clear enough, Sharada lowered her glove and got in contact with the TR extraction team with her Poketch. The mission wasn't as smooth as she had hoped but she had more experience for next time.
No, I didn't but I'll add it on in a moment. With this, pretty sure it is mission complete.
