Damien stands at a modest 5 feet 7 inches, shorter than most. He has a fairly skinny, yet toned, body type and tends to keep a tan. He has short dirty blonde hair that always appears entirely casual and effortless, unlike his clean-shaven face. One of his most notable facial features are his deep blue eyes, that almost seem to tell a story on their own. He also tends to take good care of his skin complexion when he can.
Damien’s style changes often, especially given the many types of weather one would expect (or not expect!) to see around Johto. He is most frequently known to be wearing his favorite light blue thin hoodie, tight black jeans, a ballcap, and a pair of running shoes on his feet to finish off the look. Normally a black backpack can be found on his back, carrying everything he could think of needing for an adventure. Attached to his jeans sits a belt with three Pokeballs on each side of the waist, ready to be released in a moment's notice. Even with such a simple look, Damien likes to add a little extra to his appearance, and the small silver-colored chain he usually wears around his neck is no exception. A small circular earring of the same color can be seen on each of his earlobes. To finish off the look, a black electronic watch rests on his left wrist.

Damien, with coding/inventing being one of his past times, looked up to the Pokemon Storage Boxes inventor Bill. Now, Damien did not wish to create his own new system. Damien simply wanted to find a way for PC boxes to be more enjoyable for the Pokemon resting in there. Damien also has a knack for art, as he enjoys drawing himself. Whenever Damien sees a piece of art, he will always stop and stare for a little while, searching for two major things: the purpose of the artwork, as well as what the artist was thinking when he/she created the piece. Damien feels this helps him in his own art.
Damien's mom had once been a trainer herself(as well as his dad), and always had Pokemon in the house. Whether it was a Sneasel or a Goomy, Damien would always be playing with them. Of course, Damien's favorite the Poochyena he was always running around with, Arid. Him and Arid had a special bond that could never be broken. Damien also enjoyed music, and listened to it when walking or running without Arid or anyone to talk to. Music gave him inspiration for his art, for his everyday life, for anything in general.

He has 2 siblings; a younger brother and a younger sister of ages 2 and 5. His mother and father are both in their fourties. The two of them used to be trainers, back in their 'day'. Now, they enjoy hanging with all of their Pokemon at a house in Goldenrod City, taking care of their children. Damien also helped his mother and father with his brother and sister.
Damien also volunteered often at a local Pokemon Center, where he helped care for Pokemon and learned more about the Pokemon Storage System. He did this just from his love of Pokemon, and started volunteering when he was 11. The Pokemon that came into the center amounted to more than he could imagine. Pokemon from every region imaginable; Pokemon like Charmander from Kanto, all the way to Pokemon like Mudsdale from the Alola region. All of these Pokemon astounded Damien in each their own way, as he explored the diversity in all of the Pokemon he saw. In these Pokemon, there were Pokemon that wanted to fight following their trainer's commands, but also the Pokemon that did not like fighting, or just did not like fighting for trainers who did not care much about the Pokemon.
While he lived in Goldenrod City, Damien also took trips to the Radio Tower as well as the Game Corner. Each of the two places always had some sort of news to talk about regarding Pokemon, and about any interesting Pokemon they had seen. Talks would last for hours, but none of the conversations ever bored him. Damien enjoyed every word of these amazing conversations about visitors who came through Goldenrod City from far away places. More so regarding visitors, the Pokemon Daycare was a great place where Damien loved to visit, and also volunteered at, caring for more Pokemon. It was, besides runs with Arid, the top of the list of Damien's favorite things to do. But, Damien decided it was finally time to become an official Pokemon Trainer. He was sad to have to leave his volunteer jobs at the Day Care and Pokemon Center, as well as leave Arid and the rest of the Pokemon at his house(and of course, his family), but he really wanted to explore more. So Damien said his good byes and headed off to begin his journey in New Bark Town.
