The cave was dank and dark, cavernous pools of water keeping the tunnels moisturized well. Distant drips from stalactites chirped through the passageways with the occasional rumble from one of the rocky inhabitants shuffling about in the distance. Union Cave was one of the more well traveled mountainous routes which left it rather easy to navigate and somewhat well lit in comparison to its nearby cousin on the other side of Violet City. Still, it was in no way a luxurious path. The ground was uneven and slanted, rocks jutting up in all sizes; neither was it very straight making it rather annoying to see ahead.
Despite all this somewhere in here was Tobias' target. He'd already smashed his way passed the entry guard it should be a simple matter to reach this Digman and relieve him of his pokémon. But first there would be another obstacle. Among the craggy rubbish littering the way was more than just inanimate rocks. One in particular was a bit different. Perhaps in just as foul a mood as the white clad Rocket stepping his way through the cave, a Geodude sat quietly on the pathway. All night some inconsiderate Makuhita had pounded on the walls; training up for something. It was an absolute racket. Then some rude trainer trampled by, kicking poor Geodude in the face as he moved by and waking up the slumbering rock. That trainer was now disturbing the rest of the cave with digging, which was fairly agitating but the wild pokémon had finally gotten used to the vibrations and nodded off.
But now! Once again someone was right on target to run into Geodude. It would never get any rest in this place! Before Tobias could chance tripping over the rocky pokémon or worse, try to smash it, two toned arms shot out and pounded the ground angrily. With a growl its face rolled upward to stare at the one-eyed trainer and the grinning monkey. Geodude snorted heavily and rose into the air; blocking the way.
A sleep deprived Geodude (LV 15) is lashing out!
