The sudden sound while they're taking a break wasn't very helpful when they're trying to relax. Upon noticing leaves falling, the Vivillon hurriedly flapped her wings to blew the leaves away, as she don't like her lunch topped with crusty, dusty old leaves from a forest tree. Next, the team heard a loud crow before a Spearow was diving toward Penelope. She looked around and then looked up... just when she thought she was about to be hit by some sharp beak, she was saved by her own Pokemon! Again!

Potato had picked up one of the eaten carrot's leafy top and threw it at the Speaow, dislodging its path of flight. Then, the giant rabbit dashed forward for a Quick Attack, and smacked that brown bird with his ear-hand, for being intrusive. The Spearow wasn't invited to this lunch party.

OOC: Diggersby used quick attack, you can pretend the "carrot leafy top" is too light to even do 1 hp damage seeing as this is a OHKO

Spearow had only wished to make off with Penelope's food but it was quickly intercepted by a very deadly carrot leaf. Though the impact did not directly do any harm it threw the bird off course and ended any hope of a sneak attack. With an empty stomach there was little choice for Spearow to make other than trying to win a battle for the food. Spearow was ready to strike when out of nowhere Potato rushed towards it slamming his ear against the bird. The impact was so mighty it sent Spearow flying into a nearby tree. As soon as Spearow impacted the tree the bird was knocked out cold.

A small flock of Spearow showed up a few seconds later and carried off their comrade fearing for their own safety the whole time, which was rather odd as Spearow tended to be aggressive. Potato did not intervene as the birds did not dare mess with him and he already got the point across. Any Pokemon in the area that had witnessed this battle would likely approach with caution from now on.

Potato fought well and gained 550 experience. He now has 550/2267 exp needed to level up. He also gained 2 happiness thanks to his Soothe Bell and he now has +14 happiness overall.

Penelope gasped in horror as she spotted the Spearow flying in discourse in the corner of her eyes. Was she almost attacked by such a violent bird? Thank goodness her Pokemon was quicker in their mind than she was! Otherwise, she would be in the hospital if not dead from a head wound from those sharp Spearow beak. She didn't even get to see her Diggersby pounded the Spearow with a mere fist of her ear. Well, when your ear doubled as your arm that got confusing. She did got to see the Spearow's friends taking it away for safety and recovery. Thankfully she wasn't about to fight all of them. Potato resumed eating his carrots, and Penelope thanked her Pokemon while now looking around, a bit scared of sneak attacks.
