As usual Damien found himself sweating as the ball hit the ground and rolled about in the desperate fight for dominance. Perhaps even a bit more than usual with the array of company and stakes. Shaggy was becoming restless again, a quiet rumble of his tummy hinting as to perhaps why. Andromeda was starting to make his pants statically charged with how clingy she was after the beating she took, which only helped make him even more uncomfortable. This ditto wasn't playing around, and thanks to taking on Shaggy's form was quite formidable for anyone other than Turret.

"Stay closed... Come on!" He leaned forward, squishing Shaggy a little and causing a loud squeak. The swinub scratched at his arm a little bit and caused the ranger to recoil back. "Sorry Shaggy," he apologized. As if on queue the battle of wild pokemon versus ball finished, chiming happily. Turret called out the success with a mild cheer thus bringing Damien's gaze back to the device. He was almost bewildered.

"... really?" He couldn't believe it. "We did it!

He let the baby pokemon down along with the food bag then rushed over to snatch up the nest ball before his luck could turn sour. He wasn't going to let this one get away.

"We'll get you properly fed and then try to find you someone to take care of you Ditto," he assured the newly captured pokemon. Hopefully he could find someone to do so. Someone who could deal with the wild temperament and teach it that it doesn't need to steal.

Andromeda relaxed finally, beginning to try and tend to her sore spots. Damien let the nest ball dissolve into the PC then made sure to give his wartortle a pat on the head. "Good job team." The inexperienced ranger took a good look at his pokemon. Maybe they were ready. Was he ready? He looked at the buildings poking out of the trees in the distance. A pang of dread hit his stomach, but not from the thought of finally making an attempt at the next badge.

"Back to the city," he sighed.
