OOC: has it been a year already? i guess i should introduce the deerling in my RP bc it's still not introduced HAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAH make it sap sipper please male name gonna be another time
idk what im doing with the introduction
As Penelope continued walking, she seemed to have entered the turf of a Pokemon. Suddenly, a loud screech could be heard, and a brown Spearow swooped down super duper close. It even circled and tried to intimidate the young trainer. However, the trainer didn't care too much about this, because she figured that her Pokemon were powerful enough to send intimidation back the other way. However, she was here for the journey, as she was feeling a little bad about letting one Farfetch'd away from Sylvester longer than the other. Oh well, that was an after thought.
Just as she was about to call an attack, she would have thought her Pokemon would react quickly like they did last time. However, something strange happened as a red-nosed Deerling came from somewhere within the woods, and it looked like it was a bit scared and nervous to be in the wrong climate? Or wrong region? It even came with a little hat! Something must have ticked off its nerve though, because it managed to climbed a tree just a little bit to helped with its jump, and used a Tackle on the Spearow!

It was quite a sight. With spindly little legs the santa hat wearing deerling stepped his way up a fallen trunk leaning against another of its still standing brethren and launched himself through the air to knock the angry bird right out of the sky. Spearow went down with a burst of feathers and a terrible squawk. It was an unseemly noise to come from such a fierce bird; or that's at least what Spearow thought of itself. The deerling wasn't in a great position on the landing, legs folded underneath it as it had crushed the smaller pokey bird. Spearow was of course not holding back any birdly profanities as it fluttered and flailed underneath up until the deer finally got off of it. The avian had not enjoyed that at all, its feathers even more jagged and sharp looking than they were normally. It had to get some payback. Though, the wild pokémon was expecting the annoyed deer to back off a bit and thought it had the perfect plan. It wasn't so perfect. With a hard flap of its wings the spearow launched itself into the air and dove into red-nosed deerling, hoping to catch a flank or something. Instead the angered deer stood its ground and forced Spearow to only nick a bit on its side or risk getting kicked in the face with flailing front legs. Spearow perched itself on a low branch following, glaring down at the trainer and this random deer that interfered. While deers do live in grassy or forested area, something about the Ilex Forest was just getting on the nerves of this Deerling. This young mammal wasn't in the mood for the avian though, as the bird just squawked some obscenities that made itself in the naughty list. The Deerling was going to kick some lessons on the avian.
Neighing (? What does the deer say?) softly, the Deerling told the Spearow to watch what it was saying, and then proceeded to chase after it, going for another Tackle. Penelope stood amazed at the two Pokemon, wondering mostly what kind of Pokemon was that Deerling.

The bird would have guffawed if it was able. Instead its disheveled feathers became even more rough and pointed, the bird puffing up as if that made it more intimidating. It couldn't believe the sort of bleating it was hearing from this interloper. The spearow screeched angrily, mocking that silly red hat and diving down after the Red-Nosed Deerling. However, before the avian would get a chance at doing it's own sort of teaching the four legged pokémon would be delivering a lesson first. In a sudden leap the fearless deerling slammed right into the incoming spearow. The wild pokémon was wholly unprepared for this, but in a blind rage it found it wouldn't matter; at least for the next few seconds. Pain throbbing through every muscle the adrenaline coursing through the enraged bird made it act on its fiery instincts. As the two flew through the air, entangled, Spearow pecked blindly into the soft fur of the Red-Nosed Deerling. There was little the grass type could do to avoid the jabs since they had been brought together in the deerling's tackle. Until they hit the ground of course. Spearow rolled in a leafy heap whilst the seasonally dressed pokémon scampered away to avoid any further fury from the bird. Spearow huffed, barely managing to get on both feet, but still enough energy left to caw and fluff its feathers. Red-Nosed Deerling | LV 18 | Sap Sipper HP: 56% (31/55) Status: Normal Used Tackle!

Penelope could see that the Deerling can quite hold well on its own. The pecking Spearow was just a small nuisance to the hoofed Pokemon. She couldn't help but cheer for the Deerling now. It was such a strong little thing, brave and bold to fight against the Spearow. "You're doing great, Deerling! I bet you're gonna win!" She put a hand next to her mouth as she shouted, as if that would help sound travel further and louder.
The Deerling though didn't really hear it from the cawing form the bird, as it was so fixated on the twitter. Bleating maliciously, the half normal type went for another Tackle, making a plan on which tree to jump and slam into the bird when it needed.

The Spearow was on its last leg as the battle reared its end, Deerling in an obvious lead. It breathed heavily, gasping for air as the deer Pokemon had leeched out all its health in battle. The bird had trouble standing up, it’d be a wonder if it even got another move in before passing out. Although Spearow tried to be more intimidating, it was hard to seem bold when our feathers are rustled in the heat of dueling.
Spearow watched the Deerling carefully, waiting for its next movement. Although the flying type had access to air, it was too weak to fly at the moment, so when the deer charged at it, all it could do was watch and hope for the best. With a hard thud, the Spearow was tossed backwards onto the battlefield, fainted from the attack. Deerling gained 2 levels and is now level 20! Should Deerling learn Take Down?
