Appearance: Venom is a fairly tall young man, at about 6 feet in height. His body is lean and fit, with noticeable musculature, but not too much. His body weight is roughly 150 pounds, and his skin is white, with a slight tan to it. Venom's hair isn't very long, but is dark purple in color, spiky, and styled upward. Apart from two bangs on either side of his face, and a few strands in the center of his forehead. His eyes are the same dark purple color, with slightly slit pupils, looking almost reptilian when someone looks directly into them. One other notable trait is his prominent canine teeth, which look a bit like snake fangs but shorter.
Venom wears a white, sleeveless shirt, with a purple Poison type symbol he painted on it himself. Venom isn't the best at art, but it's still recognizable. His outfit also consists of a pair of purple gloves, with a scaly pattern on them, and cover his hands and arms, stopping just below his shoulders on each arm. The pants her wears are crimson in color, with a black belt, and several similar black belts circling diagonally down his pant legs. While he is a ninja, he prefers to wear a pair of black shoes, as opposed to traditional sandals. And finally, he wears a long, purple colored scarf around his neck at all times. He sometimes uses it to cover his nose and mouth, true to his ninja training, while rest of the scarf always flows freely down his back.
Personality: Despite his appearance, Venom is actually a very friendly guy. He's almost never in a bad mood and is pretty easy going about almost everything. He's got a good sense of humor and enjoys a good joke every now and then. There are still some things that will make him mad though, like when someone disrespects Poison type Pokémon. Venom absolutely loves Poison type Pokémon, and favors them above all other types, but still isn't against putting other types of Pokémon on his team if they catch his eye. Ever since he was a baby, he's always had a thing for any and all Poison types. He does have his favorites though. Venom enjoys talking with his Pokémon too, even if he can't understand them. It makes no difference to him.
Venom is also a major wild child, and spends most of his time outdoors, among wild Pokémon. It's been this way ever since he was baby as well, mostly due to how he was raised. This is also the reason for Venom's appearance, as he enjoys looking like a Pokémon, even if it's just a little. Venom also shows no fear when faced with a powerful foe, and enjoys a good battle, even if he loses. Psychic and Ground types do make him a bit nervous, but he believes in his Poison type Pokémon, and believes that they can overcome any disadvantage. The only thing Venom loves more than Poison types is his stepsister, Janine, who is still in Fuchsia City, serving as the gym leader while Venom travels through Johto. He always puts her before himself, even if she insists he doesn't have to. He's also a big fan of Roxie's music, partly because she's a Poison type gym leader, and partly because he went to see her when she and her band performed a concert in Kanto.
History: Venom's childhood was anything but normal. For reasons unknown, he somehow ended up alone in the Fuchsia City Safari Zone when he was just a baby. However, he was taken in by a wild Nidoking and Nidoqueen, who raised him like he was their own. Venom's wildlife in the Safari Zone continued up until the age of eight, which is when trainers started talking about seeing a human in the Safari Zone among the wild Pokémon. So, the Fuchsia City gym leader, and head of the ninja training camp, Koga, went to investigate. Koga was surprised to find Venom, and decided to take Venom in, and train him and take care of him like he was his own son. Koga was the one gave Venom the name Venominon Ouroboros, and from then on, Venom trained right alongside Koga to become a Pokémon ninja.
That was also when Venom met Koga's daughter, Janine, and the two became siblings. Venom and Janine were raised and trained right alongside each other every day and grew close to one another because of it. Venom continued to regularly visit the Safari Zone, and all of the Pokémon he grew up with inside though. Over time Venom's love for Poison types grew more and more, and due to regular exposure to the toxins of various Poison types, Venom seems to have developed an immunity to poison himself. He's been bitten by an Arbok, breathed in a Weezing's smog, and much more, but walked away from each venomous encounter without a scratch, apart from a few bite marks. Venom is also very aware of the existence of Team Rocket, due to all of Koga's stories from back when he was a Team Rocket admin himself, which Venom enjoyed hearing about very much.
Venom trained as a Pokémon ninja for ten years, and over time, he noticed something. In the entire world of Pokémon, there was no Poison type legendary Pokémon. In addition to that, there weren't very many Poison type gym leaders or elite four members in any region. Venom also noticed that not very many trainers bothered with Poison types for their teams, as Poison types often got passed over for other Pokémon. This bothered Venom quite a bit, as he considers the Poison type to be the best type of Pokémon in the world. It soon came time for Koga to leave Fuchsia City and become a member of the Kanto/Johto elite four. However, before he left, Venom requested that Koga leave the Fuchsia gym in Janine's hands. Instead of becoming the new gym leader, Venom wanted to travel to Johto, and make a name for himself as a Poison type trainer. Koga accepted and wished both of them good luck before leaving Fuchsia City. But before Venom left home, Janine made him the scarf he wears now, telling him to do his best and never give up on his dreams. Venom thanked her for it, then left to begin his own journey, promising to return to Fuchsia City as a champion one day.
Goals: Venom's goals are pretty straight forward, but very important to him. He dreams of becoming the new Kanto/Johto champion and showing the world that the Poison type is the best type there is. He also dreams about finding and catching a legendary Poison type Pokémon, wherever or whatever it may be.
Other Info: Venom really enjoys mochi, especially berry flavored mochi. He'll often swing or jump from tree to tree when traveling, true to his wild child nature. His name, Venominon, means "King of Poisonous Snakes", which is the main reason Koga chose it for him. Koga could somehow sense that it was perfect.
