Sport Balls Left: 14 4/5 Encounters Pinsir: Normal Flint [Blaze]: Normal The time that the angered bug pokémon spent in the pokéball could be described as the blink of an eye. It seemed like it had already broken out before the sport ball even touched the ground, the hefty Pinsir landing on its own feet once again with a light tremor before setting off for the charmeleon. It managed to catch Flint with its two spiny pincers and squeeze. Though, Flint's own physical strength was enough to keep the vice grip from doing much of anything beyond be a mild annoyance.

As expected the Pinsir managed to escape from the ball. Even so Tyler knew even under ideal situations it would be very tough to capture the bug. Deciding to press his luck however he tossed another ball hoping for luck to be on his side. " Go Sport Ball, maybe luck will be on our side this time."

Capturing the Pinsir was a complete surprise for Tyler. Knowing just how stubborn Pinsir were he knew he had gotten really lucky with such a quick capture. He decided to hold on to it but since he had enough time for one more encounter he set up to look for the big he really wanted. " We have time for one more try Flint. Let's see if we can get lucky. " He said as he looked in the grass one final time.
OOC: Keeping Pinsir blank for now and looking for 1 more encounter.

Sport Balls Left: 13 5/5 Encounters It seemed that was the end of Tyler's luck, for what he encountered next was the hard yellow shelled pokémon quite common throughout a few areas of Johto: Kakuna. It sat there, a statue in the grass. Shiny: f7OeT3as1-421-42

Seeing as how the Pinsir he had caught was a far better prize than the Kakuna Tyler had no doubt in his mind what he was going to do next. " Our luck could have been better but at least this final encounter will get you some good experience Flint. Use Ember on that Kakuna to wrap up our contest for now. We will return to try our luck again when it comes back." Tyler said as Flint got ready to fire.
OOC: Flint uses Ember.
