Martin rubbed his head, took a breath and looked between his fingers to the nearby forest. After his excursion to Sprout Tower he had heard of a newer estate near Violet, and he couldn't pass the chance by to investigate. It worried him slightly that this estate lay close to the grounds he had had an eye on himself, but he couldn't fault the owner's taste in location. It was just the right environment for a variety of plants. Time to see what wild life this place had attracted, and how it looked maintenance wise. He shot a glance to Baal, that had put himself just a bit behind Martin's left leg. Like on his last visit to an estate he had brought a bare minimum of Pokemon. Tom covered even further behind, and Martin suspected that the Espurr would have clung to either Baal or Martin's own leg, if it had thought it allowed.
Martin let his hand slide down his face and sighed. "Relax, Tom" he said as calm as possible in his impatience with the nervous Espurr. "As long as you behave well, and do as told, no one will hurt you." Baal meowed something, and Tom jumped a little closer to them, but still kept behind, and Martin decided it wouldn't get much better. He stepped foot on the path in between the trees to said estate, and walked briskly until he reached the first visitor area, a grassy meadow.
As Martin and his own two cat Pokemon entered the Grassy Meadows portion of the forest, they came across a very aggressive scene. Two more cat Pokemon, both were Skitty, were running around a tree, one carrying a small black item, perhaps something that had fallen off of the tree. The two scratched at each other and tackled one another, each fighting to claim the apricorn. They both appeared to be very agressive and angry in the moment with the other, whether that was playfully or not.
Having not even noticed Martin and his Pokemon in the moment, one of the Skittys holding the Black Apricorn backed into the seemingly nervous Espurr. Shocked, the Skitty whipped around to see what it had ran into, but before it could do anything else, the other Skitty tackled the Pokemon into the grass, smiling and not willing to let go until its counterpart gave up the apricorn.
Two wild Skitty (level 16) are fighting over a Black Apricorn! What will Martin and his Pokemon do?
((OOC: So many cat Pokemon... I rng'ed two Pokemon and they were both Skitty.))
Whatever Martin had expected it wasn't this. The meadow all right, with its grass and wild flowers and trees at the edges, but not two pink cats fighting over something. Martin stopped a ways off from them just to watch and get a sense of them. He wondered what the black thing was. It was hard to tell with how fast they were moving, and Martin squinted hard before looking at his own cats. Baal was obviously the more level-headed of the two, but it was Tom that had the move Martin wanted in this situation. "Now, Tom. Here's your chance to grow up. Try to steal whatever they are fighting over. You have Covet for that." Tom looked about ready to faint at the mere thought. Baal gave an odd sound Martin couldn't interpret, but Tom stayed frozen to the spot. Martin growled low in the back of his throat. "Get going! Baal is you back-up. He'll keep the other busy in the meantime." Baal nodded at this and gave Tom a push forward, and hesitantly the Espurr closed the distance to the Skittys.
Before they made it into action however, one of the Skittys tumbled into Tom, which halted his movements once more. Baal, who had been a little behind, rushed past Tom and tried to break the two Skittys up, so Tom could do what Martin had asked.
(Ooc: Baal goes for a Fake Out on one Skitty, to leave Tom the room to use Covet on the other)

As the Skitty continued to fight over the single black apricorn, the one that had pinned its counterpart onto the grass took a blow from Baal's Fake Out attack. The attack caused the Skitty to flinch in astonishment and surprise. With the other Skitty out of the way momentarily, it left the Skitty that had been pinned on the ground(and currently holding the small black object) with nothing to protect it or the item.
It would be Martin's Espurr that would land the next attack, making contact with the Skitty that had been on the ground, inflicting a decent amount of damage while stealing the item it held. The attack sent the small cat Pokemon rolling in the grass. It manage to get back on its paws again and made eye contact with the Espurr, who had possession of the Black Apricorn currently. "Skitty!" The Skitty was mad that the Pokemon had stolen the item that the two had been playfully fighting over. It gave a determined look towards the apricorn the Pokemon held and made a mad dash towards the cat Pokemon. It rushed through the grass and dirt with one thing on its mind - Getting the apricorn back.
As it arrived at the Espurr, it flipped around and dealt a good whack of its tail to Tom. It then proceeded to whack Tom twice more, and then jumped back, as to attempt to avoid any attack the Espurr might have retaliated back with. The other Skitty that had fallen back from the Fake Out attack was back up and ran to the Skitty's aid, standing side-by-side and ready to fight off the two Pokemon for the apricorn.
The two Pokemon looked at each other, nodded, and let out a determined cry in unison before turning back to the other two Pokemon, ready to fight. "Skitty!"
