Now the battle had started it was easier for Aglaia to see the difference between this weedle and Wystan. They clearly didn't acted the same. She wondered if she should bring him for the next contest.

"Good, one more time Saury," ordered Aglaia and Saury sighed before he ran forward to tackle his opponent once more. He began to feel tired and hoped there wouldn't be much more battling after this one, mostly because he'd rather do something else.

Saury was relieved to see the weedle disappear. He had nothing against Wystan as the beedrill were a good leader, but a battle was a battle and he was glad this one was other.
His luck didn't last though and he suppressed a groan when yet another pokemon appeared.
To his surprise Aglaia didn't order him to do anything and instead hurled a sport ball at the sewaddle.

Both Aglaia and Saury looked shocked at the pokeball that had caught the sewaddle in the first attempt. It hadn't really done any wriggling and Aglaia wondered if it had been sick or weakened beforehand.
"Okay..." said Aglaia hesitant and went to pick up the pokeball.
She looked around and to the sky, "I think we still have a bit more time, let's see if we can find something else, before we head back," said Aglaia and gestured to Saury to walk around.
Saury exhaled and went straight into the tall grass to actually do his job of sniffing out a wild bug, rather than just being lucky as he had until now.

Saury flinched when he almost ran into the short nincada that was hiding in the grass. It was really crawling with bugs in this garden! It was good they weren't seen as pests, or perhaps they were a bit and that was why they held the contest, to dwindle the number a bit?
He got Aglaia's attention and she came over to see what he had found.
"Oh, that's just a nincada, that should be rather common," Aglaia said and Saury knew what would come next.
"Give it a tackle then," she ordered and he did so.

The flower bearing grass type rammed into the bug at top speed and its reply was to stick its fangs in and try to absorb a little of that sturdy vitality from Saury. It didn't work so well.

"Again," Aglaia said as the only thing and Saury did as she ordered. He thought she sounded a bit tired, so perhaps he was lucky she too found all this battling boring and would find something else they could do instead?
Aglaia was both happy they were soon over with this, and a bit disappointed it was. She wasn't sure why she had mixed feelings, perhaps she had had her expectations too high after having met a shiny last time? Even though she knew that was once in a lifetime experience?

Aglaia looked at the parkball containing the pokemon she had caught. She doubted it would help her win any prizes, but perhaps it could be useful in other ways.
