Once again Bishop chose to ignore whatever Rod said but the coordinator didn't care at this point. Unfortunately Bishop was wary and did not take the bait and get angry, instead he stayed way out of reach and gave Rod no chance to try pickpocket the other man for the phone.
The coordinator spotted his whip and quickly grabbed it and swirped it towards Bishop. If the other man would flinch or similar, Rod would smirk gleefully. He was skilled with the whip and it was his main tool when he trained his pokemon and he would have no problem keeping Bishop inside the tent with some precise lashing that would give the other trainer some red marks if he was too determined to get out now.
Rod felt secure he had Bishop in his grasp by now, if the other kept the distance Rod would just use long ranged attacks and if not Bishop realized he was without any chances fast, Rod was prepared to shower him with whiplashes until he gave up.
The idea that Bishop's pokemon might come to the rescure didn't cross the coordinator's mind. Rod's own pokemon wouldn't do anything unless told and there was no warm feelings in between them, so he couldn't imagine a pokemon wanting to protect its trainer by its own desire.
Jewel hissed at Blossom but didn't have the strength to try dodge, and she was sent flying into a tentpole.
The whole tent collapsed like card house and the houndour wailed in fear and began trashing around although without accomplishing anything. Rod cursed loudly and cut a whole in the fabric with the knife all campers were clever enough to bring along. This made it harder for Rod to keep Bishop in check but he was ready to attack with his whip the moment the other trainer got free from the tent.
He never got so far as an Officer Jenny stood waiting for him with a growlithe at her side. Rod's shoulders dropped as he knew he had no way of getting away and that the officer knew him and wouldn't buy one of his stories.
Officer Jenny thanked Sammy for his tip and asked him to keep an eye on the area and the evidence until she got back, and then lead the abusing coordinator away without even noticing Bishop.
Sammy waited for Bishop and accepted his phone back and was thrilled with the picture that was taken.
"This is perfect! His days of abusing is definitely over, I know the police has had a suspicion for a long time but they haven't had enough proof to charge him of anything, but you your help they now have!" Samme said excited and looked grateful at Bishop.
"Thank you so much! I know it was very sudden I pulled you into this but you really have saved the day," Samme said and looked like he wasn't able to express his gratitude well enough in words. Then he lightened up and found a black pokeball with a red stripe.
"Here, this is a Luxury ball, it will make the resident pokemon more comfortable and happy," Sammy explained as he handed it towards Bishop,
"they are quite rare but the pokemon loves them! If you want more I have some more I can sell you."Sammy would then turn his attention to try calm and free the houndour and hinted to Bishop that his presence might scare the terrified dog, simply because a crowd could be upsetting it. Sammy would look for Jewel as well and try keep her in check until the police returned so they all could be handed over to them and be taken care of.
Bishop was free to go searching for the last houndour, or he could call it a day and go home.
Blossom ends the battle quickly and earns 1 lvl from it, making her lvl 17
She also gains +1 happiness.
Pug did his best and gain 1 lvl as well, making him lvl 8

Karate Chop if he forgets something else!

Sammy is relieved Rod has been stopped and gives Bishop a Luxury Ball as thanks.
He also offers to sell Bishop more if he visits him in his house in Cherrygrove.
