Illumise's shrieking would quickly be overwhelmed by the sound of bellowing fire.
Flint gained 600XP and grew to LV 30!
They didn't get far before another bug joined the party. Likely rushing to help the scared Illumise, although much too late, or not waiting long enough to reap easy leftovers, Tyler's next victim came to him; saving him time looking for it.
The quick appearance of another bug surprised Tyler but as luck would have it the bug was still not the one he was looking for. Even so he could not let the chance to train Flint even more pass him by. " Flint use Flamethrower." He groaned hoping that luck would be on his side after this battle.
The beedrill buzzed menacingly after spotting the downed Illumise, blackened as it were. But it still held its position. Unfortunately for it while it was getting ready to poke the fiery lizard, Flint was already spitting out fire. The sky was alight with a raging stream of it, putting a pause on the immediate area as other near-ish trainers stopped to take a look at the spectacle. From a distance worried mutters could be heard but no one in their right mind would come over to the scary man and tell him to try not to burn the park down.
With the battle over Tyler was almost out of time but he knew if he was quick he would have one last chance to encounter the bug he was after. " Flint let's get going, we need to make this final encounter count so we can enter the contest with something. " He then desperately tried to find one final bug before time ran out.
Though it was not the bug he was after Tyler felt it was better to catch a Pokenon he did not have then to capture nothing at all. He reached into his bag and grabbed a Sport Ball then got ready to toss it at the young Silcoon. " I guess beggars cannot be choosers in this case, go Sport Ball capture that Silcoon."
It was a bit of a bust, but what bit of luck that was on Tyler's side came out as the ball contacted the stationary silcoon. Whether it was lightly napping or what, the ball clicked its success before it had even touched the ground.
