Kevin was too late to stop Berserk from charging into.the tree as he heard the Farfetch'd squawk though the impact with the tree did not cause any harm to the Rhyhorn at all as he wuickly shook off the shock the impact caused. The Squawk did alert Kevin to the Farfetch'd location however and it was in a great location for Berserk to try one of his moves when he was ready. " Well I guess this Farfetch'd was not planning an ambush afterall. On the plus side we did find one of them so all we have to do is get it down from that tree. " He said as Berserk nodded agreeing that it had to bring it down from the trees if it were to battle the Farfetch'd successfully.
Though most ground and rock type Pokemon would struggle to hit a flying type Pokemon that high up Berserk had learn the perfect move to deal with the problem and Kevin was quite aware of the move as well. " There are only a few moves I know a Rhyhorn can learn that are useful in a situation like this but I know Smack Down is one move that you can learn so I think.that will be our best option." He said as the Rhyhorn got ready to strike. It was then that he had an another good idea pop in his head.
" I think Sylvester might be worried if we take too long so let's speed things up a bit here. Instead of using Smack Down just once how about you use it twice instead to save a bit of time? " He knew that despite Smack Down being super effective that one attack would not probably knock such a tough bird out in one hit but he doubted that it could endure two direct hits if luck was on his side. As Berserk nodded again and got ready to fire off two Smack Down attacks Samantha and Oracle both stood by in case Berserk.needed help.
Kevin was hoping it would not come to that as Berserk needed the training more than any Pokemon in his party but he would not hesitate to swap out the Rhyhorn with one of the canines if he had too. He did not habe many items to heal.his Pokemon so playing it safe would have to remain an option until he left the forest. " I sure hope the limited training Berserk has had is enough for him to win this battle.
OOC: Berserk.uses Smack Down x2. Running Shoes are exhausted for this battle.

Farfetch'd's head switched back and forth as he gauged the availability of good tree perches while the trainer and his big beastie decided on a plan of attack. The bird wasn't going to just sit around and wait for them to attack him, and thus before the rhyhorn had internalized the instructions given the duck was off. Breaking into a swift run, Farfetch'd made for a near tree with great branch coverage. Berserker made to intercept with haste, though his bulk meant he was much slower to get up to speed compared to the light-footed bird. Still, the spikey pokémon's mere presence was enough to make Farfetch'd worry. He diverted from a straight path to the tree to take a quick swipe at Berserker in the hopes to catch the behemoth off-guard long enough to make a clean getaway. It mostly worked. Kevin's rock-type was certainly not expecting the smaller avian to suddenly turn and whack him. A feathery wing brushed right up against his eyelid as he instinctively shut it, but the blow still managed to get through his thick hide with the pinpoint precision. However, Farfetch'd was a fool to assume such a blow would be enough to bring the rhyhorn to a halt. Even with just momentum the plan wouldn't have worked. Berserker was now in melee range with the bird and took full advantage of it. Rearing up he brought his massive head down upon the leek wielding duck and smacked him into the ground. In the aftermath of the first exchange Farfetch'd was seeing figurative stars. Head spinning, clouded, he moved into cornered animal mode. Still with an ache to flee and a desperation to remain even just the slightest bit further away to avoid another smack down, Farfetch'd switched to swiping with his vegetable instead. With an interesting technique the duck brandished the leek and struck out like an expert fencer, jabbing into Berserker's nose to little effect. There was almost an audible gulp as the rhyhorn retaliated. Farfetch'd was done. He quacked his surrender and dropped into a pleading bow low on the ground; head still spinning. He stayed there for a moment to recover his senses. Long after his surrender was accepted would the mischievous duck raise its head and voice what could be assumed an apology. Regret painted clearly across his face he got to his feet and began retreating back toward the Shady Glen. Before completely parting Farfetch'd turned to Kevin, leaning on his leek, and gave a salute to hopefully make it undeniably clear he was done causing trouble and would go back to Sylvester without a fuss. Farfetch'd used Aerial Ace! Critical Hit! Berserker used Smack Down! Farfetch'd used Cut! Berserker used Smack Down!
Berserk grew to LV 21 and gained +1 Happiness! (+3) He's trying to learn Scary Face; forget an old move? [HP 68%] Farfetch'd has learned his lesson and retreated to be with Sylvester
