This path certainly did have plenty of both and Aphrodite would have had her pick of what to meet if a dustox hadn't dodged around a couple of battles in an attempt to avoid it and then found it was face to face with Aphrodite and her very strong looking white ninetales. Aphrodite and Aurora eyed the Dustox for a few seconds. "It's kind of pretty, but it's still a poison-type...I c-can't catch it." She stated, glancing away from the Dustox. The Dustox did not freak her out as much some of the other Bug-type Pokemon, but she still could not find it in her heart to capture it. So far now, she would allow the Dustox to carry on with the rest of its life.
 Attacks: Extrasensory, Confuse Ray, Ice Beam, Dazzling Gleam Ability: Snow Cloak

The path was still rather crowded but it was thinning out as the competition was coming to an end and the participants were moving back towards the entrance to get their catch evaluated. Aprhodite had time to one last encounter and it didn't let her wait. It was yet another flying one which reminded a bit of the dustox although this one preferred the day more and was wellknown to most. A butterfree. "Whoa, it's a Butterfree! This one is definitely a better choice than the other Pokemon we've encounter, so far!" Aphrodite smiled as she glanced down at Aurora then back up at the Butterfree. "Let's see if we can catch it without actually hurting it." She spoke, grabbing a Sport Ball then tossing it into the air gracefully, so that it would make contact with the Butterfree's body.

The outcome not so much though as the butterfree smirked and then flapped its wings hard and blew it harshly off course so it disappeared among the shrubbery. "Butterfree, I was hoping that you would settle for taking the easy way out, but it seems like you would much rather lik to fight." Aphrodite stated, narrowing her shimmering gold eyes at the butterfly-ilke Pokemon. "Aurora, use Extrasensory!" Aphrodite commanded her Ninetales.

That's what all the kids did after all, just throw those special balls. Butterfree had gotten quite a bit of practice dealing with various throws and frankly had begun enjoying itself. However, a sport ball was not what had come after it. The bug's attention so focused on the trainer's actions it was blindsided by the psychic powers of the white fox. Butterfree reacted instinctively following, releasing a wave of somniferous spores that fell down upon the wispy fur of the exotic ninetales. Aurora faded softly into a light sleep. A soft chuckled escaped from Aphrodites mouth as she watched the Butterfree release a powdery substance from its majestic wings, causing her beautifil, Alolan Ninetales to fall asleep. "You're just full of tricks, aren't you?" She smirked, grabbing another Sport Ball and tossing it into the direction of the Butterfree.

The butterfree apparently didn't have a good attention span, as it now relaxed now it had Aurora under control. No more surprises from her side. Instead it got surprised by Aphrodite as the Sports Ball hit its side and sucked it in. The ball wiggled furiously and it almost looked like it was going to burst open, but then it dinged and fell calm. The illumise got released and looked around before she pranced away looking offended to be rejected. Aurora grew to LV 25! And gained +1 in happiness
