Name: Patricia "Trixie" Hayworth
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Trainer Type: Punk Girl
Hometown: Celadon City, Kanto
Artistic rendition by Caramell!
Appearance: Standing at 5'9" (175.25 cm), Trixie is tall for a girl her age, with a wiry figure, tanned skin, and hazel eyes. Her lean body has been toned over years of outdoor exercise. Her hair, while normally a light brown color, has been the subject (or should we say victim?) of various hair-dyeing efforts over the years, where faded chunks of pink, neon green, and orange can be seen. It's short and usually worn in a messy bob that she rarely takes more than a minute to style in the morning.
Her clothes usually consist of light t-shirts, tank tops, and shorts (they're comfy and easy to wear!) with athletic running shoes. For colder weather she also has a few hoodies, but her legs are usually left shivering. The clothing itself is mostly black with pops of bright color. What more likely draws the eye is the collection of accessories she wears. She has one piercing in each ear lobe, and two more above the right side ear, with earrings such as consists of glittery skulls, stars, and obsidian studs. She also has an obsidian nose ring. On her left shoulder is a tattoo of a flame which is colored red, white, and black in a way that resembles a Darkrai's head. Lastly, her elbows and knees are usually covered in calluses and scrapes, since aside from a pair of black fingerless gloves she wears no protection when freerunning.
Personality:
Trixie is a pretty simple person at heart. She wants the freedom to follow her passions, and isn't afraid to make both friends and mischief along the way. Outgoing, enthusiastic, and unafraid to show off her sense of style, she tends to make a strong first impression one way or the other. To those who like her, she's a fountain of fun and laughter. She enjoys sporty activities and keeps in shape by doing parkour (though she would love to get her hands on some roller skates). Not one to be left out or left behind, and is always up for an adventure and supportive of her friends' ideas, however crazy they might seem at first. But there are those who will find her impulsive and risk-taking nature off putting. In general, she's the kind of person to jump headfirst into trouble, and figure out how to get herself out of it later. She's sometimes careless when it comes to detail-oriented things.
Trixie is no stranger to good-natured banter, but there are a few things that can really get under her skin. One of them is people who look down on others, especially in matters of wealth or intelligence. Get too heated in insulting her or her Pokemon, and she might go to great lengths to get revenge (however petty). She has a rough relationship with the law in general, finding many rules and regulations to be nonsense, as long as she isn't hurting anyone else. With this in mind, it's probably no surprise that Dark is her favorite Pokemon type.
History: The Hayworths are an old and moneyed family, stretching back to the initial land development of the Celadon Condominiums. Trixie's father had been groomed to take over the family real estate business at a young age, while her mother was a wealthy Alolan heiress to a Nanab Berry fortune. Patricia was their first-born child, and her two sisters, Maybelle and Avalina, followed shortly after. The girls were raised in their parents' personal mansion out in the lush hillsides north of Celadon, eating the finest foods, receiving the finest educations, along with being schooled in etiquette, dancing, and Contest performance.
However, by the time she was a preteen, Patricia had shown to be fitting poorly into her family's mold. She refused to wear the designer dresses her mother had bought for her, opting instead for what the family regarded as "ratty street clothes." Her dancing was quite literally break dancing. She would even be willfully rude to guests - to their faces!
As she grew older she began to break curfew, disappearing into the evening (the mystery was solved when a groundskeeper caught her flipping over the balcony and shimmying down the ivy boughs) and returning home having gotten into all sorts of trouble that her parents never approved of. Fortunately for her, the Hayworth name meant the police were willing to sweep any minor misdemeanors under the rug, but her parents' discipline only seemed to make her bolder and wilder. Her experiments with hair dye, her piercings in unapproved places, the gaudy tattoo that she proudly displayed when she pulled up to the house in the wee hours of the morning on a motorbike, engine revving and coal rolling, driven by a rough-looking teenage boy whom she claimed was "her boyfriend."
Naturally, her parents forbid her from seeing him ever again, and soon her grounding extended to all manner of activities. When she wasn't outright forbidden, she was carefully supervised and scrutinized. She responded by holing up in her room, rarely coming out except to eat at family meals, during which she was sullen and concentrated mostly on her plate. The only one who could really bring her out of her shell was Avalina, her younger sister by three years - and the only one to call her by her chosen name, Trixie. While Ava didn't exactly approve of all of her decisions, she seemed to realize that Trixie was determined to march to the beat of her own drum, and even tried to put in a good word for her every so often with their parents.
One day, Trixie's mother sat her down to discuss with her the family's upcoming plans - a debutante ball when she turned sixteen, in the tradition of the Hayworth family, where she would be expected to greet guests, dance, and have her extended family evaluate any potential suitors. It was the opposite of what Trixie saw as a good time.
So on the eve of her birthday, Trixie ran away from home.
It wasn't easy at first, being without many of the things that she had taken for granted. She was hungry, and cold a lot, but fortunately her stamina (and a couple hitchhikes) kept her going. A few months later she finally arrived at the borders of New Bark Town. There, she could begin a new journey, free of her parents' expectations, and when she returned her parents could see that she had made something of herself - in her own way.
