Not long after calling for the leek duck pokemon to appear, it made its presence felt as it hoped out from a patch of grass that it had seemingly been hiding in. Max's facial expression painted a picture of shock but at the same time he was also pleased that the whole searching part had been as simple as calling out for the damned bird.

Farfetch'd stood in the middle of the rocky path that ceased Max from continuing his travels throughout the forest. The leek duck pokemon had plenty of reasons to turncoat and make like the pink panther and exit stage left, however it stood solid and extended its leek and pointed it towards Max as if to offer him a fight. Max was delighted by the development and the moxie that the Farfetch'd showed, it was clear enough to him why Sylvester had not been able to control the wild duck pokemon

"If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!"

Max was all too happy to oblige to Farfetch'd's challenge of a battle, the only decision that was troubling him temporarily was which pokemon he chose to send into battle. Maxwell only contemplated internally on the matter for a few moments before retrieving a pokeball and pointing it towards the ground in front of him, opposite Sylvester's escapee Farfetch'd. Emerging from the gleaming red light was the bubbly electric type pokemon in Jupiter the Flaaffy, her pink scarf undoubtedly fit right into the scenery that the Luminous Vale treated it's visitors to. Jupiter noticed the leek duck pokemon now across from her, her attention was short lived however as it turned to admiring the forest with its lush multicolored trees and plants that surrounded the area. Max had learnt to accept Jupiter's mental shortcomings, her challenge never tended to be her effort in battle, more so it revolved around keeping her attention fixated on the fight which remained a distinct work in progress,

"You're not even going to get a hit in bird brains, but be sure to give us your best shot if you do! Jupiter, hit it with your all powerful Thunderbolt attack!"

Jupiter's attention snapped back to the task at hand, at least temporarily as she smiled towards her opponent, she had no ill will towards the wild duck pokemon, she was simply just doing what her trainer told her to do. The typing advantaged that Jupiter possessed over her normal/flying type adversary was sure to be a deciding factor in what Max hoped would be a short lived battle so that he could set off in search of capturing the second escapee Farfetch'd and return them to Sylvester to be paid for his services.

The Farfetch'd had had no problems with any of the wild pokemon it had met around here, and it had given them all a good smack in the head as "prize". This human and his pink pokemon surely wouldn't be a problem, it grinned when the trainer accepted its challenge and it swung its leek around before using it to point at Jupiter. It did not get the expected reaction as the flaafy simply began to marvel at the view of the lush forest.
"Far!" The bird called out to her and it rolled its eyes at her actions. It turned its stare to Max, and sent him a dry look, he really thought this one would be able to give it a fight? It had to laugh, and it did so.

"Fetch!" It gasped and stared shocked at Max when he called it a bird brain, where had that come from?! "Farfar! Farfetch'd fetch'd farfetch'd!" It called out to him furiously and it was certainly calling him all such of nasty things in return, although what exactly Max wouldn't be able to understand. He had made the bird angry with his nicknaming, that thing was certain.
It jumped up and flapped hard to get some height before it turned its wings back and dived at Jupiter, it pulled its stalk back, ready to hit her in the head with it, and got shocked out the sky and dump down on the ground right in front of them.
The farfetch'd groaned in pain but would reluctantly do as told and accept being lead back to Sylvester.

Jupiter was lucky to react first and got out of the battle without a sweat. She gains 1000 Exp (1900/1951)
