A strong breeze whistled between the tall buildings and created a strange sort of eerie melody. The thick fog swelled in the heart of the fragrant city, making its usually flower-filled streets obscured and hard to see. Small bodies moved in silhouettes through the dense fog and their scurried off through the alleyways and up to the tops of the buildings. City lights sat in their spots, silent and fixed to the ground, shining their bright lights that only seemed to struggle against the dense fog, unable to light up the streets as they normally would.
Mishu kept her fire dog near her side. The small Houndour growled, pinning her ears against her head. The corners of the fire dog’s ears were bunched up and ruffled and her lips were curled, allowing the long, sharp canine to protrude out from underneath them. Mishu reached down and gently patted her black canine on the top of its thick, light grey capped skull to soothe the feral canine. She laughed, pressing herself closer to her Pokemon as they wandered slowly through the city streets. Small shop doors jutted out into the dense fog, with small stands that broadcast different wares to the visitors that ambled past their open doors. “Hinoina, it’s ok. There’s nothing to be scared of, girl.”
The long, blue-haired trainer stopped near a clothing store and walked up to the front of the shop’s doors. She carefully studied its structures as the shopkeeper pointed worriedly towards the fire-and-dark canine and spoke up, “She can’t cause a mess or…scene…” The keeper warned as her hands shook a little while she pointed towards the Houndour. Mishu’s eyes shifted from the shopkeeper to her Pokemon and nodded her head empathetically as she turned her attention to the shirts lined up on the rack. “Hinoina is a good girl, just a bit nervous in new surroundings. You have my word she will cause no harm to your shop or its patrons.” After an exchange of good will, the shopkeeper would allow Mishu to return her attention back to her shopping, and she would pull out different shirts to examine them individually as she considered which ones she may want to buy.
