A small patch of dark brown grass clung around a large, grey rock. It was hidden near the edge of the field, though tucked well within the contest’s parameters. Something seemed to stir inside of the tall grasses, hidden against the large grey rock. It would have remained blended, until its shell cracked apart to show off the bright pink-and-green body that stayed hidden behind the shell. When Leilani should choose to approach it, the bug would immediately push itself further back against the rock and wiggle to try and dig itself into the sand and remain hidden. Would she notice it among the grass against the large rock?

A Wild Shelmet appeared!

Lei stomped furiously through the long grass, what a waste of time. She should have known that nerds were stupid like that, not understanding what pokemon was really good and interesting and instead going after something dumb like a scatterbug for a dumb reason like its patterns. She had really miscalculated this time and wasted a lot of time, she looked at the other contestants and could see a lot of them moved towards the exit which meant it was almost over. By Darkrai! She had only run into a pathetic grubbin and then a bunch of boring bugs and now time was almost up, there was no way she was going to find anything useful now.

Something rustled near a rock but Lei ignored it, or didn't notice because she was sure it was another worm.
"Ko malaaah," Morfeus yawned deeply behind her and as he never spoke she spun around, "what?!" She snapped at him but he just yawned again looking towards a big rock. Lei grumbled and turned around again when something shiny at that rock caught her attention, she took a step closer and her eyes widened. Shelmet!
"Yawn!" Lei ordered urgently as she fumbled with a sport ball. Morfeus had already been yawning but had no problem doing it once again and Lei hurled the ball at the shelmet, even though it wasn't sleeping yet.

Shelmet stood its ground fiercely. When the strange bear yawned, the small shelled Pokemon would yawn back as it began to feel drowsy. It shook itself and rushed forward, using Struggle Bug. Then Lei tossed a Park Ball, resulting in a successful capture! Whoo!

A smile slowly crept over Lei's face as the pokeball laid still but it lay blinking. It was a very easy choice for Lei, to decide whether she wanted to keep this rare bug she needed or the boring one which she easily could get her hands on from home.
A moment later the grubbin shuffled through the grass and Lei picked up the pokemon ball containing the shelmet. It hadn't been a complete waste of time then, just then the bell announcing the competition was over rung loudly and Lei recalled Morfeus and turned back to the entrance and get her bug graded.
