Xander watched on at all the battling going on against this one powerful Pokemon amongst everyone around him. He watched on as everyone around him used their Pokemon in order to try and defend one another on this attack. Xander watched as his Charmander, Blitzkrieg, had taken a bad hit from the Lugia as it was not fond of being blinded from his Smokescreen attack on it. Xander was worried for his Pokemon, but he knew that this fight was not over yet, and needed to be finished. Xander looked at his Pokemon, who stood up, after taking that last hit and shook it off the best he was able to. “You ok buddy?” He asked as Blitzkrieg nodded his head as he didn’t want to let his trainer down, nor did he want to stop this fight. “Try for an Ember attack on it!” Xander shouted for his Pokemon, who nodded his head and opened his mouth and proceeded to shoot out small balls of fire, aimed at the enemy Pokemon.

As Shocker was finally defeated by Lugia Marchbaby thought about reviving the tough magnet Pokemon however he could not bring himself to ask the poor Pokemon to tank even more hits for the team. As he did not want to put the Magnezone in even more harms way he decided another of his Pokemon should replace it instead. He recalled Shocker and sent out Kamikaze who was in a very foul mood after seeing what had happened to Shocker. Her rage was at a fever pitch as thick ice started to surround her claws. " Kamikaze did you just learn Ice Punch? That is indeed perfect timing as that move should be a huge help against this Lugia. Looks like your anger is really going to come in handy here."Marchbaby had no clue what the other trainers were about to do but he decided to make his plan quite clear hoping a few others would try and join in to cause as much damage as possible this round. " Everyone Lugia seems to be getting really tired, if we focus all of our strength we might be able to chase it off this round. Kamikaze can do quite a bit of damage this round but all the help you can provide will be a huge help." He then faced the Lugia more determined than ever to put an end to this battle before things could get any worse for those on the beach. " Kamikaze give it everything you have and use Ice Punch on Lugia. Show it why even dragons fear you kind." Kamikaze then sped towards Lugia with the thick ice still covering her claws ready to punch Lugia with all her might. While doing so her Life Orb started to shine increasing her power to incredible levels.

Lei laughed humorlessly, "I think we all are, except him with the magnezone perhaps," and sent Mishu a curious look, "What's a Kaiju? But no, I don't know why it attacks us, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same which sunk the ship."Lei too didn't introduce herself, and had she learned whom Mishu had been, she would have been quite surprised since she was one she had plans on trying to get to know. "Do your pokemon have any tricks up its sleeves which could be useful here? Or any other pokemon?" She asked and her head snapped around as she shimmering shield which had shielded them all was blown out. She spun around and her eyes searched for Dragomir, the dragon was laying in the sand and Lei groaned. Lazy beast! "Dragomir! What are you doing?! Get up and get that Light Screen up!" She screeched urgently, with that furious lugia around it could be devastating without that protection. Dragomir lifted his head and even if Lei could have seen how exhausted he was, she wouldn't have cared. He looked at her and forced himself up standing again. Minerva was still chasing the legendary flyer but the force of it flying past sent her rolling over the sand and into the water's edge.

Both Venom and Nidoking grit their teeth in frustration when Nidoking's Megahorn failed to hit its mark, as Nidoking landed in the sand behind Lugia, then ran back over to Venom as fast as his legs could carry him. "Damn it! How could I have missed such a big target?!" Nidoking yelled out in anger, but then let out a sigh and glanced at Venom. "Sorry, master. I failed. Seems I still haven't gotten the hang of my new strength yet." Venom calmed himself down as well before responding to his Pokemon's words, walking over to him and gently patting his head as he did. "It's okay, Nidoking. Your body got a lot bigger and stronger when you evolved from Nidorino, and Megahorn is a very powerful move for your current level. Normally, trainers wait until their Nidorinas and Nidorinos reach a certain level before evolving them into Nidoqueens and Nidokings.""If anyone's failed here, it's me. But that's okay. Team Toxic is still in this battle, and we're gonna win. But for now, I think you'd better tag out. You did a great job. Arbok will take over from here." Venom smiled at his companion, called him back to his Great Ball, then put it back into his bag and grabbed Arbok's Poke Ball. However, before sending Arbok back into the fray, Venom noticed that one of the other trainers had taken the time to make their way over to him and ask him about his battle plan. At first, the ninja didn't appreciate her tone, noticing right away that she must've thought that he was crazy for talking to his Pokemon like he could understand them. Which he could. So, all she got from Venom was a look of displeasure at first. However, Venom's facial expression changed the second he saw her Pokemon, Minerva. It was as if he completely forgot that Lei was there, as he ran past her and over to Minerva, quickly helping the armored Stunky out of the water it rolled into. With all the intense battling going on, Venom hadn't really taken the time to notice anything specific about the other trainers or their Pokemon. But seeing such a unique Poison type Pokemon was all it took to send Venom into his Poison type fanboy mode, looking down at Minerva with a big smile and sparkles in his eyes, completely ignoring the legendary Pokemon that was still attacking them. "What are you?! I've never seen a Stunky like you before! You are amazing! Simply amazing!"Thankfully, this didn't last long, as Lugia was more than enough to bring Venom back to his senses. The Poison type trainer cleared his throat, regained his composure, then turned to face Lei, giving her a response. "Your Drampa's Light Screen has been very helpful, and I'm grateful for it. However, I don't work with close-minded humans. Lugia may have the advantage against Team Toxic, but we have plenty of methods for dealing with Psychic type Pokemon." That was all Venom had to say to the female trainer, speaking to her in a firm and unyielding tone as he did. After that, Venom returned to the position he was in before and tossed Arbok's Poke Ball back into the battle. "You're up again, Arbok! Let's go!" The red and white orb burst open, sending the Cobra Pokemon back onto the battlefield. "I'm back and ready for more, master! Just say the word!" Arbok smiled sweetly at her trainer with a small blush on her face, very happy that he decided to give her another chance. Venom returned her smile, nodded at her, then put his game face back on as he turned to face Lugia once again. Naturally, since Arbok had re-entered the battle, her Intimidate ability went off once more, lowering Lugia's attack stat as a result. Of course, Venom knew that it would take a lot more than that to put a dent in the attack power of a Pokemon such as this, especially after the boost it got from using Ancient Power earlier in the battle.

Mishu nodded her head and glanced over in Marchbaby’s direction. The man seemed confident and able to handle the beast with his Pokemon, though it took a lot of work getting the Pokemon down to where the moves would manage the most damage. As the Lugia attacked, Mishu watched the Magnezone get taken out and watched Marchbaby replace it with a strange looking, sharp-clawed Pokemon – and one she definitely wanted for herself. “Oh, that’s tough! The Magnezone is out, but he’s called out a Weavile. They’re quite the amazing powerhouse Dark types when trained properly and are some of the fastest ones, too.” She murmured to herself as she turned her attention back to Leilani. “Yes…it’s clear that Hinoina is outmatched for the fight. It’s her strong will and determination that keeps her going, but that won’t make any difference if she is clearly outmatched. I think Suraimu would be good for this one. He had Disable, which can hopefully block one of that beast’s powerful moves for us. Then, I have Yosei who knows Fake Tears, Reukurotta who knows Howl to help give us a boost, and Wanigara who knows Sand Attack to try and keep the beast from attacking.” She commented as she went through the list of Pokemon mentally that would help the most in this fight. She pulled out Hinoina’s Pokeball and summoned it back inside with the click of a button, then pulled out Suraimu’s Pokeball and released him with the click of a button. “You tried your best Hinoina, but you have to learn when you’re outmatched…” She huffed. Mishu observed the way Leilani handled her Pokemon curiously. She seemed stern with them, which made the educator wonder how stern she might be. Of course, there wasn’t anything wrong with a stern or commanding voice, and some Pokemon needed it to help them grow properly under the care and guidance of a trainer. “Kaiju are…just ‘giant monsters’ really. Think of something the size of an entire city or a skyscraper. Some revere giant Pokemon like that as though they are some type of deities, though.” She noted with a laugh.

Xander could see that the gigantic bird-like Pokemon seemed to be retreating a bit away from all the Pokemon trying to defend against it. Was this a sign that they were winning? Or was this a sign that the worst has yet to come for all of these trainers and their Pokemon trying to defend them. Either way, Xander knew better than to stop now, as he knew that he needed to continue this battle and Blitzkrieg knew it as well. Blitzkrieg stood there watching as the battle went back and forth between, he Lugia and all of the trainer Pokemons, with both sides hitting attacks back and forth on one another over and over again. Xander looked over at his Charmander and looked worried about him, but knew he was able to handle this battle to the best of his capabilities. “Try for a Scratch attack!” Xander shouted towards his Pokemon. Blitzkrieg then once again nodded its head at its trainer, before rushing in towards the target, swinging its claws at the creature, in hopes of hitting it with a Scratch Attack this time around.

A whirl of activity was around her. Trixie's attention was caught when the trainer of the Magnezone sent out a different Pokemon, one that her Pokedex identified as a Weavile - and a Dark-type. "Yeah! Go get 'em!" she cried out, entirely forgetting to give Shade a command of her own. She watched as the Weavile landed a strong hit against the mysterious bird Pokemon, only to be knocked out by the fiercest Gust she had ever seen. "Oh no! Is Weavile going to be okay?" she called out to the trainer. One of the other trainers had complimented her strategy, asking if Trixie had anything else up her sleeve. "You bet! Shade, get in there with a Knock Off!" The Shuppet suddenly vanished entirely from view, only to reappear right next to the legendary bird and give it a whack with his horn. Even though the bird had bolstered its defenses somewhat since her last attack (shame on her for not paying attention!), with how the ghost Pokemon could disappear and reappear at will, it would be hard for it to retaliate right away. Lastly, a familiar voice reached her ears. "Mishu... Mizuma? What are you doing here?!"

Suraimu stretched up tall and wavered in the air with a dopy grin. He was oblivious to the reality of the struggles going on around him. When he caught sight of the gigantic bird as it slipped back into the thrashing waves of the ocean’s waters, the small green-and-yellow blob condensed his entire body into a spherical ball and rolled over to the large bird. “Why do you want to hurt everyone?!” Suraimu asked, carefully pushing his gelatinous form between an outcropping of several rocks in case he needed to keep himself well protected. “Suraimu, don’t get too close! You have got to be careful!” Mishu cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted out to her Pokemon. “Try to stop it from attacking and use Disable! If we’re lucky enough, you can prevent it from using its strongest attacks!” Another voice caught her off-guard for a second. Mishu glanced around in a confused daze as she searched through all the trainers and their Pokemon for the source. She was positive that she recognized it…though she couldn’t readily identify it… Though, as soon as her eyes landed on the all-too-familiar face of Trixie’s, Mishu instantly smiled and waved. “Trixie! I would say its great to see you but…I think we’re all just trying to survive together, right now…” Mishu added with a dry chuckle. Meanwhile, Suraimu slowly crawled out from his hiding spot and stretched himself up as tall and wide as he could make it body. A bright blue aura surrounded him and emanated from his eyes, changing their usual wide white forms with their beady blackish pupils into a dark blue pupil with pale blue conjunctival cells. Bright blue rings would shoot out from his eyes towards the Lugia, growing larger as they closed in on the titan. He aimed to wrap Lugia up in his blue rings and disable Lugia’s move to the best of his abilities, hoping that his move would surely land its mark on the beast.

As Kamikaze was knocked out by a single Gust Marchbaby really had to start digging deep as he did not want to put any of his Pokemon in harms way more than he had to. Kamikaze and Shocker had done more than their fair share against Lugia but the legendary was far stronger than Marchbaby had anticipated. Even so he was determined not go give up as he still had 4 more Pokemon he could use and Bonecrusher was fairly bulky. The situation seemed to call fo another bulky Pokemon and as Bonecrusher had an impressive movepool Marchbaby hoped that combination would finally be enough to send Lugia off. " I hate to have to ask for your help as well Bonecrusher but Kamikaze and Shocker cannot keep fighting. Hopefully your Sturdy abiloty combined with Iron Head will be enough to last the rest of this battle. Show Lugia just how strong you are with your Iron Head attack. Get some revenge for Kamikaze and Shocker." Bonecrusher then charged fprward ready to ram the Lugia.

"Excuse me for trying to get us to work together to give us a bigger chance, but alright if you just want to ride along when we others turn it around, be my guest," Lei snapped with a shrug at Venom's rude answer to her competent question. Why some people didn't understood that you needed to work together to survive was beyond her, but Venom could tag along and be a leech which mooched of the group for now. Lei was from a good family and she could live with giving handouts to the one who was less fortunate than her, if the group thought it was too much and he didn't chance, he'd just be kicked out and would have to fend for himself. His choice. Minerva was crawling out of the water, soaked and cold, and she stared dumbfounded at Venom's words. That was not what she had expected to hear now, in the midst of a rather dangerous battle. She bowed her head, "thank you for your kind words Sir, I am a stunkhorn and only my actions will show if I truly hold any greatness." She said polite, "although time is not for chatting I'm afraid, it is time to learn what our destiny is!" She beckoned towards the Lugia and pressed herself against the sand as it soared past and the wind buffered them around. The woman whom Lei contacted last showed much more potential and sent the others a brief smile as thanks and looked at Marchbaby's current pokemon. "They are," she agreed and felt the envy boil inside of her, she pushed it away and listened to what Mishu could tell her about her pokemon, she nodded. "A lot of really good options. Thanks! I'll try see what the others know and see if we can't set up some sort of useful tactic," Lei informed and turned to go to the next one which she chose would be the trainer with the strongest pokemon. Although it probably would be smartest if he continued to bash out those attacks. The girl who had the white ghost but hadn't given her any more useful information called out to the trainer Lei had just talked with. The frizzy haired woman stumbled in her tracks to look back in shock, "Mizuma?! No, no that couldn't be right, she had to be hearing things. She shook her head and raced over the sand towards Marchbaby. "Hey! How is it going?" She asked Marchbaby out of breath, she cast a glance towards Dragomir but as he was finally following her order and setting up a Light Screen again, she ignored him. "I'm sorry I wasn't on point with the healing, I thought Dragomir could keep the screen going for longer and that we had more time." She apologized and her eyes widened when she saw the next pokemon he sent out, "you surely have a lot of buff pokemon!" She said impressed, her eyes glittered with hope. this might be doable after all.

Neither Venom nor Arbok appreciated the words that came from Lei's mouth, nor the tone that came along with them. Venom was able to keep his cool though, only shooting the female trainer a single glare with his snake eyes. Arbok, on the other hand, wasn't going to stand for anyone disrespecting her master. So, she slithered over to Lei, got right in her face, glared at her, and yelled at her too. "Are you kidding me?! How dare you disrespect master Venom! He's been pulling his own weight just fine since this battle began! He didn't even have to help you people at all! There's no way that someone like you could ever understand everything he's gone through in his life, so don't you dare stand there and try to act like you're better than him, missy!"Of course, to Lei, Arbok's words probably just sounded like the Cobra Pokemon saying her own name over and over again. However, before this got any further out of hand, Venom stepped in, gently placing a hand on Arbok's head to calm her down. "Calm down, Arbok. I appreciate what you're doing very much, but it's fine. I've dealt with people like this for over half my life. Someone like her wouldn't understand, but I have my reasons." Venom spoke to his beloved companion in a soothing tone of voice, gently stroking her head as he did. Within seconds, Arbok was calm again, and Venom turned to face Lei, giving her a stern look, but speaking in a calm and collected tone. "Look, I'm not gonna stand here and pretend that I could've beaten Lugia without the help of everyone here. That would've been impossible for any one of us to do on their own. However, the fact remains that Team Toxic did still help battle Lugia. So, if we manage to win this fight and live to see another day, I will take our share of the rewards that come of this battle. And if that makes me a mooch in your eyes, then fine. I don't know you, and you don't know me. Therefore, I don't have to try to impress you, and you don't have to try to understand me.""Hopefully we can agree on that much, at least. And for what it's worth, I do hope that you, your Pokemon, and everyone else here survives this battle. That's why I jumped in. I won't work with you, but I will help you." Venom's facial expression softened slightly as he spoke to Lei, hoping to build a bridge rather than a barrier. With that, Venom and Arbok turned their snake eyes back towards Lugia, seeing that the Diving Pokemon was really starting to feel all of the attacks the trainers and their Pokemon had thrown at it. "Things are gonna get even more dangerous from here, but Lugia shouldn't be able to take much more. We can do this, Arbok! I know we can! Use Crunch one more time! Use all the power you've got!" After putting his game face back on, Venom called for the same move he did at the start of this bout. "Happy to oblige, master! You're going down, beast of the sea!" Mustering all her strength, courage, and resolve, Arbok slithered towards Lugia once more. The legendary Pokemon may have entered the water, but that didn't stop Arbok for a second. She swam right through the ocean waves, coiled herself around Lugia's left wing as soon as she reached it, then crunched down on the wing with all her might.

Sara nervously moved away from the battle. Since the first round, and seeing other trainers pokemon getting completely obliterated, she had felt squeamish. She didn't want to draw any attention to herself, so rather than continuing to attack, she opted to return Momo to her pokeball to send out a different pokemon, Kellen the squirtle! "Alright Kellen, we gotta look like we're working hard here! We don't want to get hit, so lets just stay in the background and wag our tails at the monster!" Sara said to her squirtle. Kellen blinked absentmindedly at Sara before turning around to see his foe. A towering goliath was standing there intimidatingly. Kellen looked back at Sara nervously as the Lugia blasted a gust out at a pokemon, defeating it instantly. "You've got this Kellen!" Sara said enthusiastically. Kellen nervously stepped forward to stand in line with the rest of the pokemon facing off against Lugia and gulped.
