ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The strange man’s face lit up when Zaiden caught the troublesome cat. He rushed over to the quiet teenager and pulled Zaiden into a tight embrace. “You’re an Arceus-send, young man!” The strange man exclaimed as he hugged the lad. When he broke away, he would extend one of his hands out towards Zaiden to shake the lad’s hand. Nervous and unsure of the situation, Zaiden stood frozen as his anxiety swelled inside of his chest. He blinked several times and glanced down at the stranger’s hand. Zaiden would raise one of his own hands up and curve it behind his neck to scratch the back of his neck idly. After a long pause, Zaiden extended a shaky hand out to the strange man, who gripped his hand and shook it like it might fall off. “No need to be shy, young fella!” The strange man laughed as he shook Zaiden’s hand. His eyes smiled with his lips as they closed tight enough that wrinkles formed in their corners. “My name’s Jedidiah. It’s just me, my wife, and our five kids living here. See, we needs our tiny garden that we are growing in the back because my job doesn’t always pay much. So I make sure our mortgage and lights are paid for, and the food we grow helps keep the grocery bill low.” Jedidiah laughed and gestured to the back of his crops. As he walked into his back yard and waved for Zaiden to follow, a strange noise could be heard. Zaiden’s eyes widened as it sounded like something was moving around in the thick undergrowth, and Jedidiah jumped back nearly ten feet and pushed himself squarely behind Zaiden’s back. His eyes widened as he stared at a thick green bush with berries growing on it. “Oh, no, no, no! Not my berry bush! What in the world is it this time!?” He growled underneath his breath and clenched his fists together. Zaiden turned and placed a hand reassuringly on Jed’s shoulders. “Huh?” Jedidiah gave Zaiden a blank stare. He was confused by the lad’s lack of words and wasn’t sure what Zaiden had planned. Zaiden pointed to himself, then towards the bush. He used his hands to make large gestures, before pulling out a Pokeball and pressing the center of the ball with his fingers. Whatever it was that awaited them inside of the bush, Zaiden would investigate for them and hopefully solve the mystery. But it begged the question – if the Meowth wasn’t the only one ruining Jedidiah’s crops, what all Pokemon were causing this poor man so much grief? Although, with the strong winds and harsh rains that poured down, Zaiden also wondered if it was just the wind playing tricks with their minds…? OOC: Looking for another Spawn. What sneaked around in the bushes? What was making such a ruckus and trouble for the poor man and his large family?
A faint mew was heard from inside the bush, it was clearly not pleased, then a pokemon which was clearly feline jumped out of the bushes and raced straight at Zaiden. It was a cat alright, but it was pink!
The skitty dived in under Zaiden and wailed miserably and stood up against his leg looking beggingly at him, it had a torn and dirty bandana around its neck. Had it been owned once? If any of Zaiden's pokemon came near it would hiss furiously at them, but would sent Zaiden nothing but cute, innocent looks.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The young teenager would approach the berry bush cautiously. The heavy rains poured down and flooded the ground around him. The mounds of dirt that had been dug up were now soft and soggy. Whenever the beige boy accidentally stepped on one, his thick tennis shoes would sink into the mud pit. Some of the remaining holes that had been dug in the garden were now flooded and overrunning with rainwater. Still, Zaiden was thankful for the poncho he had slipped over himself to protect himself and his items from the heaviest bits of the downpour. “You sure you know what your doing, kid?” Jed questioned as he watched him nervously. Zaiden picked up a long branch and carefully prodded the tree with the branch. A small pink arm poked out from the tangle of long, thin brown branches and large, bright green leaves. It swatted at the branch, then disappeared. Zaiden backed up a bit, perplexed. He would prod it again as he tilted his head in confusion. And again, the same strange pink arm would pop out and swat at the branch, knocking it away from the large bush. Then, as a loud clap of thunder roared in the skies above, lit up with a bright burst of lightning, the small pink body that the arm belonged to zipped out of the bush. It ran over to Zaiden, immediately beguiling itself into the sweetest kitten he’d ever met. Alarmed at first, Zaiden jumped up and backed away. He didn’t know what to expect. Yet, the cat would immediately run closer to him, rubbing against his feet with its tail arched around his legs. “Another bloody cat! That looks like the vagrant that Mrs. Dunefield keeps on feedin’…” Jed commented under his breath. Kogi came bounding over to the kitten, who hissed and slapped him across the nose with its sharp claws. The electric corgi jumped back, before lowering his chest to the floor. The brown dog’s lightning-shaped tail bounced erratically back and forth. Kogi would paw at the ground as he inched closer to the small Skitty. “That hurt!” Kogi barked at the top of his lungs. Then, he jumped, pawing at the cat, and snapping his jaws as he tried to nip the other Pokemon. “Don’t you wanna play? Say…that bandana…does that mean you ran away from your owner? How come?” Kogi yipped excitedly, curious to know why the skitty was wearing such a tattered and torn bandanna. OOC: Kogi sent out and uses Bite! Then using Pokeball. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The quiet teenager turned to Jedediah with wide, expressive eyes. A thousand questions flooded his mind as the cute kitten purred and rubbed up against his legs. He reached down and gently petted the Skitty, whose playful paws reached up and batted at Zaiden’s palms. They were gentle as their claws were sheathed, and in their touch was a hidden beg for attention. Though, every time the hyper brown dog bounded over, the Skitty would jump up and hiss. It curled its back up and narrowed its eyes, before lashing out with it sharp claws. “….” Words bubbled in the back of his throat, pooling over just behind his tongue. He was drowning on them. Every time Zaiden tried to gulp to stuff them back down, a thousand more would spring up silently in their place. “…vagrant…?” Time flowed like the endless sands in an hourglass, cascading away the minutes and seconds into hours, and eventually days. The sun that had recently sat high in the sky now waned as it curved and slowly stretched its arms down towards the horizon line, that awaited to greet it on the other side. Zaiden’s words froze the hands of time, seeming to cause everything to come to a screeching standstill, if only for a second. Jed blinked, jumping back in surprise as he gasped, shocked that the lad could speak at all. Hesitantly, he began to nod his head and raised a hand to point off in the distance down the paved road. “Y..yeah. Ya see…there was a widow named Tammy. Sweetest gal you’d ever meet! But when she lost her husband to a horrible trucking accident…” Tears threatened to break through Jed’s eyes and sprinkle down the sides of his face. “Well…she tried to move on. But she couldn’t take being alone. Said, ‘I feel like he’s with me, reaching out to me, every day’. We tried to say he is and he’s waitin’. Ya know, like in heaven…right?” Zaiden’s eyes were transfixed on Jed. He listened to Skitty’s history intently. Skitty had always been a house pet and had been brought by the neighbors to keep Tammy company. They had hoped that by giving her the Skitty, Tammy wouldn’t feel so alone. Though, Tammy only felt worse and kept blaming herself for what had happened to her beloved husband. Zaiden’s own eyes began to tear up as Jed finished the story. “She ended up passing in the middle of the night. We think she went peacefully from a broken heart. Most of us tried to take Skitty in, but it never took to any of us.” He scoffed, then growled underneath his breath. “Mrs. Dunesfield started feedin’ it a few months back and letting it wander the neighborhood. I never thought that Tammy’s Skitty would become such a troublemaker. I can’t…I can’t hurt this Skitty. Will you do this neighborhood a favor, fella? Take the Skitty with ya, please? Help it grow big and strong. Every time I look at that bandana…” Jed fought back the tears. Zaiden nodded as he pulled out a Pokeball and offered it to the Skitty, who eagerly tapped on the button in the center and disappeared inside of the spherical device. He would then set back off down the road. The rainclouds would all slowly dissipate in the open skies, leaving only small, wispy cirrus clouds in their wake. He was glad to see the rains go, but his heart was heavy with grief for a person he had never met before. Could someone love someone else so much that they couldn’t live without them? The rain finally stopped although it might still seem like it continued for Zaiden and Jedediah as they thought of the sad story of the pink cat. So cute, so innocent, so much waking people's wish to protect it from harm.
Not far away a pair of eyes with slit pupils watched and wondered what was so special about this boy that all of its kin so readily threw themselves at him. It got up and sneaked closer, warily but wanting to figure out what was going on.

Yet another black cat [Lv 10] makes its entrance.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day Zaiden’s rich brown eyes widened with surprise as his mouth dropped open. He stared at the strange black cat that make its way towards the young teenager. He had to shake his head and slap himself (lightly) on his cheek to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. He couldn’t remember seeing quite so many Alolan Meowth the last time he had strolled through this part of Cherrygrove. Heck, he only remembered seeing one Meowth during his entire visit the last time he strolled through the city streets. And yet, another wild black cat had darted its way right in front of his path?! Who do all these cats belong to?! Not sure what to do and not sensing any threat from the wild cat, Zaiden would lower himself down onto his knees and cautiously reach a hand out towards the black cat. He called to it with soothing tones and soft clicks of his tongue against the roof of his mouth. Zaiden stretched his hand wide and wiggled his fingers in a scratching motion, hoping to get the cat’s attention as he offered to scratch the Alolan Meowth’s back. The cat stood still, watching the lad with its head tilted to one side and its tail standing straight up in the air. The end of the cat’s tail curved, forming an almost question mark as it did so. What a strange lad, indeed. The cat wandered closer, carefully and cautiously so, and paused just an inch away from the lad’s hand. After a long, silent stare between the two, the wild cat would butt its head up against Zaiden’s hand. It purred as it walked around his hand and arched its back to greet the boy’s generous scratches. The weather was much clearer than before and made for a perfect time to sit down and enjoy the gentle breeze that would softly billow by. Zaiden smiled, delighted that the wild cat hadn’t simply attacked or ran away from him. For a moment, the teenage boy would just coexist with the wild Pokemon, giving it loving pets as the Pokemon wandered around him and purred cheerfully. Then, a flash of light would shoot out of his bag as his hyperactive goat took shape outside of his Pokeball. Yasei prodded his head curiously close to the black cat. He would press his flared nostrils up against the Meowth’s chest while studying the Pokemon intensely. “Hello there, friend!” The goat maa’d and jumped excitedly on the tips of its hooves. It caused the cat to hiss, arching its back in a threatening manner as its fur stood on ends. “What in the world!?” The Skiddo laughed, pulling his head back, and reared up on his hinds legs. “I’m not trying to hurt you!” Yasei giggled. “I only wanted to see if you wanted to play chase! I bet you can’t keep up though. No one can keep up with the great Yasei!” He huffed triumphantly as he wagged the three leaves that were his ‘tail’ at the Alolan Meowth. It isn't clear if Zaiden is having either good or bad luck with running into Alolan Mewoths but this one is wanting to get away from being startled by the sudden appearance of the grass goat. The meowth uses fake out which hits the grass goat for small amount of damage and at the same time stuns the goat enough to make it forget what it was going to do. The Alolan Meowth stands there hoping the surprise attack would discourage the opponent and its human master.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The wild cat hissed at the top of its lungs with its back arched. Its sharp claws were fully extended as they scraped against the rough pavement. What in the world was up with this bucking goat and didn’t it get the memo to leave it well enough alone?! It yowled at the top of its tongue, striking out with a powerful clawed paw that manage to knock the goat backwards and temporarily stun Yasei. Zaiden backed up a bit, nervous as he watched the two Pokemon go at it. Though, in all honesty, the beige boy had to admit that it was heavily one-sided as the wild cat attacked his hyperactive goat. He sighed, pushing himself up off the ground and brushing the dust and debris off of his pants. His face furrowed into a deep frown though his eyebrows remained smooth and loose. He wasn’t angry at the cat, just heavily disappointed that this would immediately become a battle between the two when he had seen no need to instigate one. Maybe it was the simple nature of Pokemon as a whole, and something that wasn’t easily avoided even at the best of times? He held up both of his hands and used one to create the illusionary sharp of a leaf. Then, Zaiden would spin the leafed hand away in wild patterns, signaling Yasei’s next move. The brown goat turned to Zaiden and watched carefully as Zaiden shaped his hands to give it some instructions. He smirked, turning around to face the wild grey cat once more. “I only wanted to play. But, I guess we’ll have to fight!” The wily goat bleated as he began to hop about on the tips of his cloven hooves. He would immediately spin around and race off through the town, down dark alleyways and around the back of a nearby building. Yasei would hopefully pop up just behind the cat as he managed to summon a shower of leaves to float up high in the air. Their ends would sharpen into a fine point as they spun dangerously around above the wild goat, before being flung at their opponent. The cat, however, had no time for this goat’s charade. It didn’t mind the boy at much, until this newfound Pokemon had appeared. When Zaiden jumped up and dusted himself off, the wild Alolan Meowth’s eyes widened for a second and it would ease up on its hissing as it fur laid back down across its back. Though, when Yasei spoke again, the Meowth would arch its back once more and hiss with its fur standing on all ends. “You’re just an annoying little pest! I don’t want to play. I want to be adored and petted! Can’t you see that?!” The wild cat demanded and tried to swipe out after the wild goat, before it jumped away down an alleyway. The Alolan Meowth tried to use speed to it's advantage as it ran towards Yasei with it's claws extended. A weak Scratch attack was all it could get off however as Yasei scored a direct hit with Razor Leaf. Alolan Meowth tried to use Scratch one more time and despite a second direct hit it was no match for the incoming Razor Leaf. Alolan Meowth fell to the ground knocked out cold. Before Zaiden could capture it however 6 of it's friends appeared from an alley and carried their friend away.

Yasei gained 2 levels and is now level 15.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day “Successful.” The usually quiet boy commented as he stared down at his hyperactive goat. Yasei had managed to easily thwart the wild cat’s best attempts at clawing him up. Some of his leaves were disheveled and bits of his fur was missing where the cat had managed to swipe. But, overall, the goat didn’t seem too worse for wear. Yasei tilted his head up high as he reared up onto his back limbs and kicked wildly in the air with fir front hooves. He bleated, a loud and joyous sound, before landing back solidly on all fours. The wily goat would kick off and race across the open terrain of the carefully manicured and perfectly designed city. His hooves clicked and clacked across the ground, like small drums beating at a fast pace. It sounded eerily like a beat you would hear in many heavy metal songs as it banged continuously on. Zaiden shook his head as he turned back to the spot where the Alolan Meowth had fallen. A bad of bent and broken green grass surrounded the area, creating an impression where the body that should have been there was missing. He shrugged, having already caught enough of the strange cats to satisfy him for one day. Where could that one have ran off too? It wasn’t like he needed to be its keeper, and it seemed easy enough for him to keep pressing on through the city streets. Would he gather his things and turn his attention towards the wild routes just past Cherrygrove, all teeming with tall grasses and anxious trainers alike, while the trees seemed a bit more scaled back compared to the previous route? The sun clung high in the sky above, tilted only slightly closer to the horizon line than the center of the earth’s dome. Yasei bounded back past Zaiden as he seemed to hop-skip around in enthusiasm. The boy snapped his fingers and whistled. There was no need to disrupt the city around him, and if he didn’t get a hold of his Pokemon soon then they would keep being an nuisance to the surrounding individuals. In the wilds, that was forgivable. In a city, with many faces popping out from behind large wooden and glass doors…not so much. The grassy green-and-brown furred goat came skidding to a halt as he stared up at Zaiden. The lad’s rich brown eyes hardened with a dark look as his lips curled with a tight expression. He shook his head in disappointment and pointed to his side. When Yasei bucked, expecting to argue with his trainer, and bleated, “I need to run!” Zaiden’s expression firmed with a gruff snap of his fingers and quick point to his side. Reluctantly, the goat caved. He nuzzled up against the lad and pressed his body against Zaiden’s side as he tried fall in line with his trainer’s pace. The beige teenager was much slower than his wily goat’s speed, though. Often times, Yasei would race ahead only to pause and wait on Zaiden to catch up. He didn’t much like the city streets, though, since they offered no solace for his aching feet’s energetic need to keep moving forward. Still, Zaiden kept a close reign on Yasei, often clapping or whistling whenever his Pokemon got too far ahead, and firmly instructing Yasei to wait on him. “Wouldn’t it be easier if he just rode on my back?!” The sheep bleated in annoyance as they traveled, somewhat side-by-side with each other. The nice weather which followed the rain quickly drew everyone out of their hiding spots and soon the streets where crowded with people who were window shopping and eating ice cream. Cherrygrove was a popular city to visit with all its flowers and general beauty.
A spearow sitting on a sign watched the crowd below it intently, it dived suddenly and snatched the hat off the head of a man and in the commotion as he hurried to get it back, it turned back and stole the sandwhich he had been enjoying at a café. It took it back to the signpost and began to peck at it.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The young teenager traveled with Yasei. The two played a long game of keeping up with the other, as the furry brown mammal would often leap ahead, only to have to slow down and fall back in line. The young teenager’s rich brown eyes watched his Pokemon with mild enthusiasm as he slowly began to rediscover himself internally. He could be the trainer that his Pokemon needed him to be, but it would require him to face his inner demons head on instead of flinching out of the way. He didn’t know where this road would take him, but he had to believe that no one knew where their roads would take them. They just traveled them and found out along the way. Right? A loud commotion caught the beige lad’s attention. He whistled for his hoofed caprine and snapped his attention. Yasei snorted, shaking his horned head. He stomped one of his bright orange hooves against the cold, hard pavement. The loud clank of the hoof reverberated in the air like a deafening sound. Though, after a few more snaps, it was quickly followed by the Pokemon galloping over to Zaiden’s side. He turned his attention towards the direction of the café and pointed with a determined look. Together, the two would travel to see what the fuss was all about. As soon as they arrived, the young lad began to put things into perspective. His heart raced inside of his chest, and he could hear his blood rushing like a thousand troops running to war inside of his ears. Although the anxiety began to swallow his tongue, the lad fought back as he pushed and shoved his demons back down into their deepest, darkest pits. A feathery brown bird with its brightly colored pink wings sat upon a sign, thoroughly enjoying the meal it had snatched up from one of the patron’s at the café. As soon as the man saw Zaiden, he jumped up and began clapping his hands enthusiastically. “Oh, thank Arceus, you’ve arrived! You are a trainer, right?!” Zaiden nodded as though the answer were obvious and pointed with a shrugged expression towards the Spearow. “What? Oh! That bird has been terrorizing me all morning! It knocked over my first cut off coffee. Then, it snatched my hat off my head. And now, it’s stolen my sandwich! Please, you’ve got to help me!” The man begged Zaiden. The teenager nodded, turning to his collection of teammates on his belt before settling on one that should make quick work of the bird. “Denki, Shock Wave.” The command came, a simple and quick prompt as the egotistical zebra shot out from the device and appeared on the field in a flash of red light. “The star has arrived!” The black and white Zebra nearly sang at the top of his lungs. He stomped his black hooves against the pavement. They echoed the loud clacks of his hooves repeatedly as the electric equine seemed to prance on top of the pavement. He ran around the tables for a second, distracted by all the patrons that had gathered at the establishment. “Ladies, gentleman! Don’t worry. There’s plenty of me to go around!” He giggled with a wink as he nodded from person to person. Zaiden snapped his fingers before clapping his hands and whistling. “Denki, now.” The words were short and to the point. The fire inside of Zaiden’s eyes caused something else to stir inside of his Pokemon. Immediately, the Zebra pranced away from the people with a shrug of his shoulders as he focused his attack at the feathered bird, who seemed focused on munching away on its stolen meal. “Ok…ok…sheesh. Don’t get your panties all twisted up. I got this!” Denki exclaimed. Electricity that was building up gathered at the tip of Denki’s mane. As he lowered his head to point the tip of his mane towards the Spearow, a powerful blast of electricity would shook out from his mane aimed directly for the bird. OOC: Looking for another Spawn. The spearow never knew what hit it, one moment it was enjoying the food it had gotten and the next pain shot through its body and it landed on the ground with a thud. A flurry of feathers and a little grey dove landed beside it and called worriedly and stood beside it very respectfully and bowed, but as it got no reaction it stepped closer and nudge it surprisingly softly. That didn't work either so it looked up and around in an attempt to figure out what had happened.
