Denki rose up on his hind legs and whinnied in long, whooping calls of joy and celebration. “Your hero has done it once again, ladies and gentlemen!” The stallion called out to the crowd with glee. He pranced around the spot, pausing at every other table to glance at the people. Some cheered, though others seemed to pull reflexively away from him as he approached them. The black zebra paused at one table with a small child and her mother. The mother’s long arms wrapped around the child defensively and tugged her son close to her chest, while the small child’s hands tried to reach out towards the equine to stroke it. “There’s no need to fear…” Denki called in a softer tone, before kneeling down to be closer to the ground for the child. The mother paused, apprehensive. She slowly released her grip, though she would still keep one hand stretched to hold onto the child’s hand as the young boy ran over to Denki. The zebra’s bright blue eyes lit up with elation as the small child began to pet and stroke the Pokemon. “It’s safe, isn’t it?” The mother called after Denki’s trainer. Zaiden turned in the mother’s direction and nodded with a smile, before turning back to the gentleman that had been previously terrorized by the Spearow. “Thank you so much for helping me out, kind sir!” The gentleman exclaimed. He bent over in a deep bow and held this posture for quite some time. Zaiden reached out and placed a silent hand on his shoulder, helping the gentleman to right himself once more. He nodded his head towards the gentleman and held out a hand nervously to shake the other man’s hand. Apprehension slipped into his veins and pumped through them like war drums. Fear coiled up inside of his chest like a cobra, ready in a hidden spot to strike when you least expected it. Zaiden had to remain focused, though. They were happy for his help, and he had managed to keep a relatively good hold on Denki’s rather…flamboyant…personality. What could go wrong? Another avian slipped out of the treetops to land down on the ground next to the fainted Spearow. The small grey pigeon called out to the brown feathered bird with wide yellow eyes. It used its short, sharp beak to peck nervously at its ‘friend’ and flapped its wings in alarm. The pigeon grunted in alarm and hopped around the body. It would carefully tap the fainted Spearow with its clawed feet and nudge it with the side of its body, though all of the Pidove’s efforts would ultimately be in vain. Immediately, it spun around and narrowed its eyes down upon Zaiden, enraged that its companion had been stripped from it so soon. The Pidove flapped its wings angrily and chirped at the lad. It stretched out its wings and pointed to the Spearow, as though it were accusing Zaiden of committing this heinous crime. Tilting its head, the Pidove would coo softer in questioning tones. The lad gulped as his heart ached for the small feathered avian. He nodded his head, not one to hide the truth, though he couldn’t feel bad for righting a wrong. The Spearow had chosen its life of crime, and Zaiden simply corrected the behavior. As his hyper, playful puppy came bounding up to Zaiden’s side, the boy would snap his fingers and point. “Kogi, wait.” He warned with a stern glare. Zaiden pulled out a small blue ball with large red ridges and tossed it at the bird with the click of a button, hoping to capture the Pidove. "I just want to plllaaaayyyy!" The puppy whined, pawing the air impatiently as he lept after the Great Ball like it was a toy he could chase. OOC: Sending out Kogi and using 1 Great Ball. Self-updating. Will have 6 remaining. As Kogi tried to leap at the Great Ball the wild Pidove was too distracted by the sight to avoid a collision with it. The Great Ball sucked the avian Pokemon inside in a bright white flash as Kogi landed next to the ball. Pidove tried to break free as the ball started to shake once, twice, and even a third time but to no avail. A second later a loud click signaled the end of the battle as Pidove had been captured.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The capture was a success. The silent carefully picked the small blue ball up in his hands and began tracing the bright red ridges with his fingertips. He had never seen nor heard of Pidove frequenting the area and had to wonder if they were a new phenomenon for Cherrygrove or if he had stumbled through the city with his eyes partially closed. Did he overlook them in his original haste to hurry through and make his way to his first GYM? Had they always flown above the city skyscrapers and begged for bits of bread or other morsels from the townsfolk of Cherrygrove? As the Great Ball teleported off with his newfound capture, Zaiden shook his head and turned away from the shop. Surely, that couldn’t have been the case. Even as he glanced around now, he could make out the pink winged birds that were a common staple for Cherrygrove and other blue winged birds flapping up high above in the clouds. No matter how hard he searched, with his hand positioned on his forehead to shield the sun out of his eyes, he couldn’t spot the strange grey bird he had recently captured for himself. So, where exactly did this Pidove come from? He pulled out the strange amulet he had collected from a trial not so long ago and stared at it in amazement, wandering if it had somehow attracted the grey avian to him. It seemed to sweettalk other strange Pokemon out of hiding that weren’t normally seen around the area, so Zaiden didn’t put it past the Amulet to have attracted the Pidove, as well. Still, he had his own mission in mind. Goals, that would help his family out tremendously. He still wanted to make it and become a champion, so that he could easily ensure that his parents could afford their home and reclaim their shop once more. But it couldn’t hurt to collect different Pokemon around the area to see if they could help fetch a pretty penny, as well. After all, his goal seemed like such a long, faraway dream, that Zaiden doubted he would achieve it in time to truly be of any help. However, if he sold off all the extra Pokemon that he collected along the way, then he could send those funds back to his parents. It might not be much to ‘save the farm’, as the saying goes, but it should be enough to abate the demons that lay in waiting to devour them and the only home he’d ever known. Zaiden wandered into the Pokemon Center and switched his team around. Two girls sat on the edge of a bench and chatted away about Pokemon that they had absolutely fallen in love with and some they completely dispised. “Trubbish in the city? Eww!” One pinched her nose and turned it up as she glanced away from her friend. She pretended to gag, as though she wanted to paint the linoleum floors of the Pokemon Center with some of her inner digestive system’s remnants. “I thought the city had managed to clean itself up better than that!” She complained. He friend, whose hair was much longer and swept down to her feet, shook her head. “No…there’s still a few. Not many, though. Most are gone. I heard the city’s offering a reward for anyone who can catch them, though.” The other girl stuck her finger in her mouth as she stuck out her tongue and shook her head. “Oh, not me! But…why? That’s just so…nasty!!” Her friend replied, “so that they can all be removed from the city. We’re trying to keep Cherrygrove a clean, beautiful place that welcomes the tourists who stumble through!” As Zaiden turned and walked out of the building, he thought about the conversation he had overheard. So the city wanted help removing the Trash Bag Pokemon from their city streets and they were willing to pay for that luxury? A small smile crept over Zaiden’s face as he released his newfound teammates to walk with him down the city streets. If most of them were already rounded up, that meant that it would be difficult for him to find the remaining ones for the prize. Shortly after Zaiden stepped outside a hissing sound echoed throughout the area. There was no mistaking what kind of Pokemon Zaiden had just had the misfortune of meeting as seconds later a large purple snake Pokemon slithered closer to him and opened it's mouth as if it were about to strike the young trainer. The young snake had only been around a handful of trainers before and none of the encounters were very pleasant. It was not about to take any chances as it stared at Zaiden and dared him to make a move so it would be within it's right to strike.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day Zaiden thought carefully about the Pokemon that he needed to hunt down. He knew from the stories he had overheard that it was some sort of Pokemon that delighted in being filthy. Did that make the strange creature akin to a Zigzagoon? Those little raccoon-like Pokemon seemed to like to pilfer their way into anything that they could get this claws into. At least, from the stories he had heard between trainers who conversed on how they met their Zigzagoons or discovered them in their trash cans late in the daytime. He pulled out his Pokedex and flipped it open to search for the Pokemon in question, then gasped when he stared at a Pokemon that resembled a pile of garbage all bagged up. Let’s see… Zaiden thought quietly to himself while his head remained buried in his device. Occasionally, the mousy brown haired lad would glance up to check his surroundings, before quickly glancing back down and clicking away on the Pokedex. They like unsanitary places…often follow people who litter around…and are thought to be created from a combination of garbage bags and industrial waste… That meant that this Pokemon might be tougher than it appeared, and he would need to set up an elaborate trap to try and reel the creature in. He thought about leaving a trail of discarded rubbish along the city streets, but immediately decided against it. It would break his morals alone – not to mention that he would most likely be stopped well ahead of time. Instead, Zaiden strolled along the sidewalks and carefully peered down the alleyways in between the local shops as he tried to seize out the next best thing. Perhaps, he could become a better citizen of tomorrow by cleaning up the parts of the city streets that weren’t the cleanest? In the process, he could try to set up an elaborate trap to hopefully reel in this strange looking sentient trash bag for the ultimate prize. If only his parents weren’t hurting as badly as they were, Zaiden wouldn’t need to consider such extreme methods to try and make ends meet for them all the way back in Kanto. I’ll help you mom, I promise. He frowned as he continued along his path. Most of the alleyways were relatively clean, with their rubbish neatly compacted away inside of their bins – especially the ones around the shops. Whenever Zaiden managed to find one with a small mess, it didn’t take long before one of the nearby store workers rushed out to clean it back up. Ok…this isn’t working… He sighed in frustration. As he started to walk away from a large convenience store with a dancing bear as its logo. The cashier inside stood behind the counter to a largely empty store. From what the mousy-brown haired lad could tell, she stared at her phone majority of the time and clicked away on its screen. Was it that slow in there that she needed a distraction during work? He shrugged, spinning around to walk off towards the apartment complexes and large houses when something hissed and rattled underneath a large box. As soon as Zaiden tipped the box over, a large purple snake with a bright yellow rattle launched itself in the air. Its fangs unfolded from the roof of its mouth and glistened with thick drops of venomous saliva as it spiraled towards Zaiden in a hurry. The beige teenager jumped out of the way, just barely missing the fangs of the wild snake. In his hurry to quickly call out a partner Pokemon, he simply grabbed a random ball and tossed it in the air with a loud click of a button. The bright blue poisonous dart frog leaped out in a flash of red and took shape. Immediately, he turned away from the snake whose rattle sounded off as a warning sirens and skulked about the city streets in search of bright, shiny rocks. They were hard to come by, however, and many were mixed into the cements and pavement pathways that were carefully carved out for Cherrygrove. “Who would do this to such beautiful, beautiful stones?!” Yadoku cried in frustration, as he started throwing anything he could find – including dirtied mud water that had large oil residue seeping in its reflection. He attack would fly everywhere – causing Zaiden to dodge it himself – as Yadoku seemed to want to take his trainer and the snake down for the crime against all rocks. “All my precious stones, trapped so far away! The ekans leaped after Zaiden when he suddenly made it fully visibly and he had ignored its rattling it had done while in hiding to warn him to stay away. It curled up and hissed threateningly and leered at Yadoku when he appeared but he didn't seem to target it so the snake relaxed a bit, only to be hit by mud a moment later which made it hiss frustrated and and shake its head to free it from the mud. Something came flying at it and it striked, chomping down on the pokeball and expecting its fangs to sink in deep but instead it got sucked inside and the following struggle was ferocious but short.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The young teenager’s heart beat like a wild beast inside of his chest. Wide brown eyes stared fearfully at the small red-and-white Pokeball as it stopped wriggling about on the ground and remained still. Had the venomous snake really remained inside of the device? Carefully, Zaiden reached out and prodded the Pokemon’s spherical orb with one hand and watched it roll about on the ground. Then, in the blink of an eye, it teleported off. Though, a dangerous snake like that who was used to finding places to hide within even the most unkept of areas would prove useful. The teenager considered the weight of adding the beast to his team as he walked over to a bench and sat down. Yadoku clawed at the rocks that were trapped inside of the cement in vain and wailed loudly in frustration. He needed an intimidating Pokemon that could help him uncover these trash bag Pokemon that lurked within the city. It may also benefit him to have a Pokemon that knew the city streets better than any of his other Pokemon. Zaiden scratched the back of his neck uncomfortably and hummed underneath his breath as he bit his lower lip. But what if the venomous red snake tried to strike at him again? Would it be better for him to plan on how he would release the Ekans inside of Cherrygrove’s city streets and secretly follow its slithering path? Or, could he somehow form the bond necessary to have the Ekans work with him, instead? Such a difficult decision wouldn’t be easy to choose and caused him to question his abilities even as he was just starting to learn the importance of being firm and fair with his Pokemon. After settling the matter mentally, Zaiden arose from the park bench and strolled over to the Pokecenter. He immediately deposited Yarite back into his Personal Computer to have it shipped off to the laboratory and pulled out the snake in exchange. I’ll name you Hebi… He thought with a quick determination, before spinning around and stalking back off to the city streets. Now, he needed to find the perfect spot to release the menacing reptile so that it would be encouraged to hunt down prey and hopefully lead Zaiden to his target. As he strolled down the long, winding sidewalks of Cherrygrove, Zaiden paid careful attention to the back allies between the buildings. Many were kept cleaned and pristine, which Zaiden immediately shook his head after determining that they weren’t the best places to hunt. But a few were unsightly – with trash building up over the top of their dumpsters or boxes stacked haphazardly everywhere. Zaiden smirked when he stopped at what he considered ‘the perfect spot’ to hunt for this illusive Pokemon. He pulled out the snake’s Pokeball and tossed it in the air with a click of a button. As soon as the bright red beam shot from the center of the Pokeball and took form of the large, purple snake, Zaiden dived behind a large dumpster. He peered around the corner of the dumpster carefully with wide eyes and watched his snake tentatively. Hebi lifted his head up high and curled his long body underneath himself as he tasted the air with his forked tongue. In time, the snake began to slither along the alley, and Zaiden would slip behind large stacks of boxes and such as he kept up with his newfound team member. The last thing the teen wanted was to have his Pokemon bite him! He didn’t even have proper medical insurance and definitely couldn’t afford the copays alone! OOC: On the search again! As Hebi slithered down an alleyway lurking in the shadows a pair of eyes stared at the reptile ready to turn the snake Pokemon into a quick meal. All it had to do was time it's pound just right and it could avoid a bite from the venomous Pokemon. Just before the lurking Pokemon could leap however it accidentally kicked a trash can lid revealing it's position. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The young trainer studied the small pink cat with a tilt of his head. Did the owners around Cherrygrove allow their Pokemon to wander around the city streets freely? He carefully peaked up from behind a dumpster where he had been laying low and searched for any sign that someone else owned the Skitty, though it looked as though the small kitten was a feral cat. Zaiden thought about the Skitty he had promised to take along on his journey and wandered if this one would also have a tragic backstory. When he saw it hunkering down with its tail swishing in different directions behind it, Zaiden’s eyes widened. Was it…hunting…his newly caught snake?! Immediately, Zaiden pulled Hebi’s Pokeball back out and recalled his snake with the click of a button. He would quickly rummage through all of his Pokemon on his team until he located the ball that he wanted. Zaiden would toss the small red-and-white Pokeball up into the air to release a Pokemon entangled in thick vines out. As Nobara took shape, she glanced around the area carefully and sized up the other opponent. Her long vines lashed out from her body in different directions, smacking away bits of trash and clearing the ground so that she could build an atmosphere conducive to fighting or just existing, depending on how the cat reacted. “I’ll be honest, kitty cat.” Nobara spoke carefully to the pink cat. “Just don’t get in my way and we’ll be ok.” She promised. Without further adieu, Nobara would immediately plant herself on the ground. She unleashed her vines from around her body, showing off the black ‘void’ of a Pokemon that she was underneath. Although she searched for dirt and earthen ground so that she could try to take root, Nobara would only find concrete and pavement. She wouldn’t let this bother her too much, though it did seem to put a damper on her plans. Who would want to live in such a…dreary place like this alleyway, anyways? “There’s trash and debris everywhere, ya know…could use a little sprucing up.” She giggled. The pink cat turned around and folded its ears back as it growled and hissed underneath its breath. “Bring me back my meal!” It threatened Nobara. Nobara unleashed a thick powder into the air, sending paralyzing spores to fill the area. “I think I much rather live under a tree then here…” Nobara nodded to herself, largely ignoring the pink cat’s problems. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day Zaiden studied the cat and noticed that it had a lot of stains on its fur. Why was such a normally pink cat somehow coated in trash and debris? A quick glance around the filthy alleyway would have told the most uncanny of individuals that it was a biproduct of the location it chose to live in. Though, something else seemed off to the young teenager. He scratched the bottom of his chin and mused silently to himself while trying to determine the state of affairs that this cat – and this alleyway – was left within. It wasn’t the most desirable location within Cherrygrove but considering how the town seemed to pride itself on trying to keep their streets cleaned Zaiden had to assume that that they would want to know about it all the same. Nobara turned away and shook her head. Immediately, she walked off and found a small spot that only had two discarded and used plastic bottles scattered on the ground. The bright blue plant-like Pokemon unleashed two of her thick vines and began readily sweeping the debris and bits of trash away so that she could create a spot for herself. “I don’t think you care…and that’s a problem.” She sighed heavily, shaking her head in disappointment. Before the lad could react, the vine-like Pokemon stretched one of her vines out to snatch up one if his random Pokeballs and tossed it out with the click of a button. “You, snake. Attack that kitty for me, ok?” The bright purple snake appeared in a flash, curled up into a tight ball. His bright yellow rattle hissed like a strange siren as it rattled back and forth in warning. Hebi searched everywhere until his eyes landed squarely on the bright pink cat with hunger. “Prey. Yessss.” He hissed while this pools of saliva dripped from his exposed fangs as he unfolded them from the roof of his mouth. The Skitty puffed up its chest of fur as it growled at the top of its lungs. “Prey? Me?!” It scoffed, hunkering down low. It wiggled its butt as it slid behind a large, overturned cardboard box to try and camouflage itself into its dirty environment. “I think not! Thank you…strange plant. You actually brought my meal back to me! We’ll see who is whose prey, Mr. Snake!” The cat growled. Occasionally, it would peak its head around the tall cardboard to study its opponent as it sized up its opportunity to strike. Hebi, focused on the cat as much as the cat was focused on him, kept his eyes trained on the tall cardboard box. He raised his head up above his coils as it wavered back and forth in an almost hypnotic trance and prepared himself to find the best moment to strike. Zaiden snapped his fingers as it dawned on him what he needed to do in that moment. Of course he might need a little help coaxing the strange trash bag Pokemon out of hiding. This was the most likely place that he could hope to find it, after all. If he didn’t luck up on it here, then he would be back to square one. And he highly doubted that he would locate it within the cleaner city streets that were kept almost pristine to attract the tourists who wandered through the flower-filled city. Pinching his nose to keep from barfing as the pungent scent of moldy bread mixed with an unflushed commode full of feces and sprinkled with a hint of rotten eggs wafted up from the scattered trash, he began searching through his bag. As soon as he spotted the small blue orb, Zaiden would pull it out of his bag and toss it at the hiding cat, hoping it would be more likely to call for help. It was quite possibly the cutest sound ever, like a cat begging its owner at 3 AM in the morning to get up and feed it some canned tuna. Hebi narrowed his eyes on his opponent as he flicked his forked tongue out of his mouth. The snake’s tongue flickered up and down in the air for a brief moment, before disappearing back between the snake’s scaly lips. As Hebi tasted the air and thus tasted his opponent’s scent on the air, he smirked. Soon, another pink cat joined the first, making Hebi’s lips salivate with delight. “Ohh, a snake! They’re delicious!” The second cat meowed with delight. Hebi nodded his head as he rose up above his own coils. He seemed to dance as he wavered back and forth. His tail stuck close to his coils and rattled mesmerizingly while he sized up the two cats and tried to decide which of them would make a better meal. After only a second’s notion, he decided to go after the weaker kitten since it was the newest member to the party. Hebi dropped on the ground and stretched out before slithering after the cats, trying to corner the weaker cat off from its companion. He would aim to try and wrap the small pink cat up tightly in his coils, hopefully making it easier to squeeze all of the fight out of the Skitty. “Cat issss right.” Hebi hissed with wide, hopeful eyes. “Cat issss deliccciousss!” The saliva dripped down from his lips and pooled on the ground below. Zaiden watched cautiously from his hiding place almost entranced by his snake’s quick battling efforts. Hebi seemed lost to his instincts, making Zaiden frown. Right now, this was working out in his favor. But he needed a way to get in there and heal Hebi without the risk of the snake turning around and striking him. Maybe Zaiden should take the opportunity to go shopping at the local market and see if any protective gear was offered in one of the nearby shops? It seemed like the best option for him to consider given the likelihood of simply telling the snake what it needed to do and expecting it to just work with him off the bat. Though, Hebi was a natural on the battlefield, the cats were plenty tough in their own respects, and Zaiden’s apprehension swelled up in his chest as he watched his newly acquired snake taking damage by just one cat’s rough tackle. This is a test of my skills… Zaiden sighed quietly to himself. Do I honestly have what it takes to make it as a trainer? Will I be able to tame and train this Ekans in time, or will I have to give up my efforts? He’s…pretty dangerous…untamed… OOC: Hebi uses Wrap on Level 6 Skitty. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The long purple snake wrapped around the wrapped feline as tight as it could with a smirk. It’s slitted yellow eyes stared deeply into the pink cat’s eyes, though the feline seemed to keep them closed tight even as it kicked and screamed at the top of its lungs. It smirked, raising its head up high above the Skitty and opening its mouth wide. With every exhalation of breath by the cat, the snake would tighten its grip on the feline, trying to slowly crush and squeeze the life out of its prey. Hebi’s long, sharp fangs unfolded and shined in the sun’s light as he swayed his head rhythmically in preparation of his next move. “Lunnchh!” Hebi hissed in hopeful expectation of filling his gut. The larger feline called out to its friend. Its voice wailed at the top of its lungs as it ran and jumped across the scattered debris in the trashed up alleyway. “Hang in there!” The Skitty called out, crawling up on top of an overturned milkcrate. It leaped up to a tower of precariously stacked boxes and swayed as they buckled underneath the sudden weight. “I’ll save you, Skitty!” The other cat promised. It tilted its head around and scanned the area, trying to find the best vantage point. As it did so, it also fluffed up its fur and tried to look more menacing and intimidating as it could manage. “You’ll pay for what you’re doing to my friend!” The kitten hissed loudly. Hebi laughed, though he didn’t turn his attention away from his meal. The other feline was next, but largely unimportant while the snake already had his first meal cornered within his tight coils. “Lunnchhh herree. Bee with you neext!” It waved its rattles dismissively in the direction of the other Skitty. Zaiden gulped, watching as his snake seemed to size the smaller kitten up in his coils and slowly tried to crush the life out of the other Pokemon. He stepped over a thick smear on the concrete ground that looked like melted ice cream combined with splattered shampoo. Though, its smell was more like a hacked up hairball than anything else. He pinched his nose and slowly slipped out from behind his hiding spot to quietly walk over to a closer spot and slip behind a large stack of boxes and get a better view of the battle.
