ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Night Yarite slowly faded into the small puddle so that he could blend in with his environment. His large, fearful eyes would keep a steady surveillance on the area around him. Were there more Pokemon that he needed to be aware of? A soft breeze stirred the tall grasses, causing them to rustle against each other as they swayed. Yarite squeaked loudly and jumped several feet into the air. Was there something lurking inside of the tall grasses, laying, and waiting to strike him down at the first chance?! Yarite rushed across the ground and ducked behind Zaiden’s leg while shaking like a leaf. He wrapped both of his thin blue arms around Zaiden’s leg and pressed himself against the boy’s rough denim jeans as his head swiveled in different directions on constant lookout. Zaiden laughed and knelt down beside his small water lizard. Yarite was quite the skittish Pokemon, and it presented challenges similar to Baunsu’s when it came to raising him. Though, Zaiden had to admit that he wasn’t quite sure who was worse. Was Yarite more skittish than Baunsu, or was Baunsu the most fearful of the two? Baunsu seemed to manage to withstand a challenge normally when push came to shove. Zaiden blinked and thought back to memories of the past, where Baunsu and Gen’ie didn’t always see eye-to-eye due to Gen’ie’s naturally mischievous nature and Baunsu’s constant fearful personality. He frowned, shaking his head, and recalled Yarite inside of his Pokeball with a soft sigh. They were probably more similar than he’d like to admit, with their dissimilarities seeming to be based on what they would or wouldn’t put up with and the memories Zaiden had built with one. He turned and began walking down the route towards Violet City when a loud voice caused Zaiden to pause dead in his tracks. What was that? He paused and leaned in the direction he was sure he’d heard the sound from with wide and curious eyes. Sure enough, after a few minutes had passed the loud cried shrieked through the tall trees like a banshee wailing in the dead of night. Though, the sun’s bright rays peeked over the horizon line and slowly pushed the dark night skies away as large splashes of bright orange and yellow hues swirled in the morning skies. Was someone in trouble out there in the wild? It sounded like a small child, and one that Zaiden was sure must have been badly injured. Immediately, Zaiden would run in the direction of the sound as anxiety gripped his heart. Oh please, let him make it there in time! OOC: Ending Thread!
