Having dealt with yet another Onix and also caugh up to Oracle's level, Samantha was quite proud of herself though the last of her sticks had fallen apart in the process. " Good thing we are about to leave, my powers are far less effective if I do not have a stick to focus on. We should be able to find some good ones on route 33 before we head back to Goldenrod. Maybe we can even get a bit more training in there before the next gym?" She wondered as the group reached the exit to the Union Cave. As soon as they stepped out there were greeted by the violent crash of thunder and a downpour of rain that soaked Smanahta before she could even get a word in.
The young vixen was so furious at the weather she could not even find the words to say to describe it. Her eyes said it all as she stared up at the sky silently cursing every cloud she could see. Jumbo, Eiskalt, Barb and Oracle did not mind the weather but both Corporal Crusty and Samantha would have preferred to be almost anywhere else at the moment. Corporal Crusty tried her best to keep her rocky shell dry as she huddled up with Samantha as the pair avoided any puddle they came across like their lives depended on it.
" Poor Samantha must be cursed or something with all this awful weather. Going from a dust storm to a thunderstorm must be a true nightmare for a fire type such as herself. As her luck would have it we are nowhere near a volcano or at least a tropical forest." Oracle was just about to check on Samantha when she could pick up on something off in the distance on route 33. She wasted no time in directing everyone to the route to see what might be off in the distance.
Without saying a word the young Lucario rushed towards the route quite excited by what she was detecting off in the distance. She could sense her sister Vör was further down the route and wanted to meet with het so badly. After pausing long enough to let the others catch up she told Kevin the good news. " My sister is nearby and I sense Marchbaby as well. If we follow this route we should bump into them in no time at all." Kevin then nodded before directing eveyone down the route hoping the young dragon tamer would still be there by the time they reached the other side of the route.
