Since the Wild Duck Pokemon made absolutely no attempts to hide, it didn't take Venom very long to find it. And as soon as he had, the ninja was not at all pleased with what he was seeing. Venom understood that not all Pokemon enjoyed having trainers and wanted to be free, but when those Pokemon chose to use that freedom to antagonize other Pokemon, that's where Venom drew the line. So, once all the wild Pokemon in the area were clear, Venom came out of hiding and approached the Farfetch'd. Then, with his eyes narrowed at the Normal/Flying type, the ninja spoke to Farfetch'd in an unamused tone. "Listen, I understand wanting to be free, but you can't treat other Pokemon like that. Your little games end here, Farfetch'd. Like it or not, you're going back to Sylvester."
The Poison type trainer didn't exactly enjoy the idea of sending a Pokemon back to its trainer against its will, but it was the only way that he could be sure that this Farfetch'd wouldn't cause any more trouble. So, seeing that the Wild Duck Pokemon wanted a fight, Venom grabbed a Dusk Ball from his bag, pressed the button on it, then tossed it into the air. "If it's a fight you want, then perhaps we can beat some sense into you! Golbat, let's go!" Golbat emerged from his green and black orb, spread his wings, and instantly felt right at home in this rather dark and gloomy location. "Wow! I'm not sure where we are, but I could get used to this place!" The Bat Pokemon took a moment to fly around the area and admire it, smiling a big smile as he did.
Venom gave Golbat some time to enjoy himself, making sure that Farfetch'd didn't wander off as he did, but then refocused himself and his Pokemon back on the matter at hand. "Yes, this place is very nice, Golbat, but we have a battle to win. First, show Farfetch'd your Confuse Ray! Then, follow it up with a Wing Attack!" The ninja gave his orders, hoping to wrap this battle up quickly and begin the search for the second Farfetch'd. Based on what Sylvester told him, Venom already had a pretty good idea of where it was. Unfortunately, if he was right, then he was in for quite a long hike. "You've got it, master! Enjoy the light show, Farfetch'd!" In an instant, Golbat's entire body gave off a blinding light, confusing any Pokemon that foolish enough to look directly at it. Once the light faded away, Golbat headed straight for Farfetch'd, his wings ready to strike.

Farfetch'd thought it had seen everything from all the time it had spent in the forest however Golbat was quite an unexpected foe as their kind was not usually spotted in the area especially not at such a high level. That mattered little to the brave Farfetch'd however as it would happily take on any foe to keep it's freedom. It started to charge forward with it's most trustworthy move when suddenly the bright pulsating light from Confuse Ray mesmerized the duck Pokemon. The dancing lights were like nothing it had ever seen before and it started to panic swinging wildly at the lights. By the time they had faded Farfetch'd was spinning in circles hardly able to tell up from down. Somehow despite the lack of direction Farfetch'd managed to regain it's momentum and ran right into Golbat using it's Aerial Ace attack. It was not the prettiest impact but it certainly left it's mark as Golbat was sent a good distance backwards from the strike. Unfortunately for Farfetch'd Golbat was far tougher than a Wurmple and it quickly recovered only to rush towards the duck Pokemon smacking it with it's extended wings. The smack from Golbat's wings was far more powerful than Farfetch'd's best move and it knew it had to act fast to have any hope of winning this battle. As it spun around like a seasick sailor it rushed towards Golbat a second time. Like before it had no sense of direction at all but fate really liked this Farfetch'd for some reason as it just managed to score a second hit. Even with two powerful hits however Golbat had not only gained the upper hand but Farfetch'd could still not tell which direction the sky and ground were in as it tried everything it could just to stay standing. Unless something drastic were to change it would not be free from it's duties for much longer. Wild Encounter

After Golbat was hit by the first Aerial Ace from the Wild Duck Pokemon and was forced to stumble backwards a bit, he shrugged off the impact, but still looked rather flabbergasted. "Jeez. How come confusion always works when our opponents use it, but never when we use it, master?" Golbat asked Venom as he got back in the fight, to which Venom simply shrugged, rather flabbergasted by that himself. "Hmmm...You know, I'm not really sure, Golbat. I suppose confusion just isn't for everyone." The ninja answered the Bat Pokemon's question, thinking back to all the times he and his Pokemon tried confusion, as well as all the times their various opponents tried confusion on them.
"No matter. Confusion or not, this battle is ours. There's no way this Farfetch'd can withstand another of your Wing Attacks." Venom added, then mentally wished that he had known earlier that two Wing Attacks would've finished the job. If he had, he would've ordered Golbat to use two back-to-back Wing Attacks last round, rather than a Confuse Ray and a Wing Attack. But, of course, what's done was done. The only thing that Venom and Golbat could do now was finish the battle, then begin their search for the second Farfetch'd.
So, while the Wild Duck Pokemon was dizzily waddling around in its confused state, the poisonous pair took full advantage of the situation. "Let's get this bird back where it belongs and out of the wild Pokemon's hair, Golbat! Hit it with another Wing Attack!" In spite of the Normal/Flying type's current circumstances, neither Venom nor Golbat felt even a little guilty about attacking it, given how said Normal/Flying type had been treating all the wild Pokemon in this area, not to mention Sylvester. "With pleasure, master! Take this, you annoying little runt!" After filling his wings with pure Flying type energy, Golbat flew straight at the dizzy duck one more time, hoping that one more good smack would not only end the battle, but also knock some respect into the feathery fool as well.

The stubborn Farfetch'd tried to put up a good fight but the second wing attack finished it off. It stumbled back until it tripped over some tree roots falling unconscious. Wild Encounter
