A loud screech raised up over the roaring thunderstorm. Something stirred like a bullet being fired out of a gun. The strange creature would zip through the air at the top of its speed in a flash of light browns, bright creams, and striking reds and yellows. A single red feather floated on the open breeze and swayed back and forth in the pouring rain as it dropped in front of Maxwell and Edward and landed on the muddied ground in front of them. The strange creature dashed off into a thick blanket of grass and chirped loudly as it scratched as the ground and seemed to call towards Edward in a taunting manner. “You who dare enter my domain!” The bird screamed. It didn’t like Maxwell nor his teammate. Why did these trainers all think that they could trample wherever they please without a care in the world? Anger fueled its desire to rip the wings right off of the bug type Pokemon’s back. “Leave this place at once or suffer your fate!” The Pidgeotto screeched and kicked up large piles of dirt that it slung at Maxwell and Edward. Small bits of rocks and sharp twigs spun around in the spiraling dirt and would cut the skin of any person or Pokemon that didn’t move out of the way fast enough. “You do not belong here. I will not tolerate your existence any longer!”The Pidgeotto would then take back up to the skies above and swoop above Edward in a ‘come at me, bro’ fashion. It used one of its long wings to sort of wave at Edward while diving around in the air above. If Edward took too long to respond by either meeting the Pidgeotto in the air above or attacking the Pokemon directly, or Maxwell didn’t react fast enough to give the Pidgeotto a real challenge, it would descend on its unwelcomed guests. The Pidgeotto would descend by diving at Maxwell to scratch and claw at his arms and face, trying to cause as much damage as possible or at least force him to call out one of his Pokemon to stop it from being able to attack him. A Wild Pidgeotto is attacking! Level 24! What will Maxwell do? Shimmer or shine? u|BK3|y21-421-42

Maxwell king » Word Count: OOC: Edward uses U-Turn (into Jupiter) and then jupiter uses Thunder-wave (Running Shoes) Max and Edward continued to push along the route through the horrendous weather in hopes of soon arriving in Goldenrod City. Their travels were again interrupted, this time however it was not by a human being but rather a wild pokemon. A loud screech sounding like a gunshot could be heard overhead through the hustle and bustle of the thunderstorm that raged on, soon enough Maxwell and Edward would find out exactly what had caused such a distinct sound.
Appearing from the skies above was a raptor-like avian Pokemon whose unique features included it being covered with brown feathers, a cream-colored face, underside and flight feathers. The behavior that the avian was displaying immediately upon making its presence known to Maxwell and Edward was very territorial, it did not want Max nor his partner pokemon on its land, Max smirked much like he had done during the majority of his battle with Daquan and decided to play into the joy of mind-games against the clearly agitated flying type pokemon,
"This might be your land but I'm here to take it"
As the wild Pidgeotto took back to the skies preparing to launch an attack focused both on Max and Edward, Max motioned for Edward to prepare for a fight,
"Alright Edward, use your U-Turn attack so we can knock some sense into our new friend before I get Jupiter to shock it back into reality with her Thunder Wave"

The two creatures of the skies raced off against one another. They were fast on their feet and moved at a blinding speed. Even though the bright green mantis was faster, something on the wind seemed to lift Pidgeotto’s winds and helped it soar to new heights. Bodies seemed to shoot through the fluffy white clouds like bullets being fired out of the chamber. Within seconds, both creatures had nimbly dived in and out of the thick thunder clouds, from one side of the sky to the next. “You’re fast, my friend, but not quite as fast as you need!” Pidgeotto declared triumphantly as she shot off like a dart and rammed into Edward, knocking the mantis out of the sky. Pidgeotto watched his enemy plummet back down to earth like a popped balloon. It smirked, thinking that the battle was already over and shot off at the top of its wings after its opponent. The Edward caught himself seconds before slamming into the ground, managing to avoid the tumble as he lifted himself back up into the skies once more. He rammed into the large raptor, knocking it backwards, and then sped back over to his trainer’s side as he switched with Jupiter in the blink of an eye. Pidgeotto narrowed its eyes and searched around the area for the strange green bug that dared strike it in mid-flight. “Return at once!” It boasted, flapping its wings. “Return to suffer your impending defeat!” As soon as the osprey’s eyes narrowed down on the large pink sheep, Pidgeotto’s demeanor grew darker. A cold sense of malice slipped into the avian’s heart. It pounded its wings together in the airways high above the wooly creature below, creating a small tornado that it unleashed in the midst of the cackling thunder and bright flashes of lightning. “You will suffer a fool’s death!” The raptor cawed in a sharp trill. “You shouldn’t have taken places with your friend! He’s sent you to your peril, young sheep!” The strong winds pulled Jupiter inside of them and spun her around as though she were a building ripped off of its foundations. Within minutes, it spat her back out onto the ground with barely a few scratches on her shoulders. The forgetful sheep glanced around and turned to her trainer as she tried to remember what she was doing before it dawned on her. Oh yeah! She fired a powerful blast of electric bolts at the Pidgeotto, zapping it and paralyzing it on the spot. Maxwell king » Word Count: OOC: Jupiter uses Electro ball! The initial phase of the battle was a true test of speed as Edward and the wild Pidgeotto took off into the skies and waged an aerial war against each other. The ferocious winds that accompanied the thunderstorm like weather appeared to play into the cream bird pokemon's favor. Maxwell was having a hard time keeping a track of Edward and his opponent's whereabouts in the sky, partly due to the two pokemon's bodies dipping in and out of the thick thunder clouds, Max was also struggling with the rain falling directly onto his face as he attempted to look up, this would be the perfect time to have a spare set of Crimson's Go-Goggles handy. Edward suddenly plummeted from the sky much to Max's disdain, it appeared as though his mantis pokemon had lost the aerial battle as the wild Pidgeotto shot out of the clouds like a bullet from the chamber of a loaded gun in hot pursuit of Edward the Scyther.
Edward may have been hurt, his senses were very much still alerted as the mantis pokemon was able to catch himself moments before slamming into the ground, he then proceeded to take back to the skies and rammed his mantis like frame into the large raptor pokemon, knocking it backwards before retreating to the safety of his pokeball as Jupiter the bubbly, pink scarf wearing Flaaffy made her entrance into the soaked, make-shift battlefield. Little did the territorial bird know that had picked a fight it was going to regret taking being up against a pokemon with a direct typing advantage over it. The raptor pokemon cawed as if wondering where it's original opponent had scurried off to, the avian pokemon was none too pleased to see a large pink sheep pokemon take the mantis pokemon's place.
"This might come as a shock to you Pidgeotto but you've met your match"
The wild Pidgeotto returned to the skies above as it created a small tornado that it proceeded to unleash in the midst of the thunderstorm weather, if the tornado had have been any larger in size the Johto region may have been declared a natural disaster zone. The strong winds pulled Jupiter inside and spun her around as if she was on a violent version of the tea cup ride seen at circuses and the like, the minimal attention span that the pink sheep pokemon had made her laugh in enjoyment despite the fact she was clearly being damaged by the attack. Jupiter was soon spat out of the small tornado and thrusted into the ground nearby with a mere few scratches to show for the raptor pokemon's effort. Jupiter adjusted her scarf and scanned her surroundings looking forward something that could catch her eye attention wise, as if the wild weather and her opponent weren't entertaining enough to her fickle attention span. Soon enough the pink sheep pokemon snapped back to the task at hand as it dawned on her that her trainer had requested her to use an attack, albeit a non-damaging one on her opponent. The raptor pokemon was zapped by a powerful blast of electric bolts that Jupiter had shot towards it and left the flying type pokemon paralyzed on the spot,
"I did warn you ahead of time Pidgeotto, now it's time for my girl Jupiter here to have a ball while you just stand and watch! Jupiter, use your Electro Ball attack!"

The powerful avian stared down at the lost sheep with mild amusement. Did little Bo Peep lose her sheep again? This poor pink creature seemed as though she wouldn’t know where she misplaced her pen if it was sitting directly in her hand. Pidgeotto had a change of heart as it soared high over the valley below and gave a sharp, shrill call into the thunderous skies above. It knew it needed to protect its domain, but could it live with itself for destroying an icon straight out of a little child’s nursery rhyme? Yes. Could it truly live with itself for taking these fools out of the census when they barely knew which way the battle was? Also, yes. But COULD IT honestly, truthfully, beyond a shadow of a doubt, live with itself for picking on little confused Pokemon that must have been worse off than itself? Also…ok, ok, I get what you’re trying to do here, reader. Fine! No. It could not. So it was with this in mind that the large, colorful avian began to whip up high winds high above the valleys and hillsides below. While the pink darling with thick wool around her head and neck like a lion’s mane toddled around aimlessly, the Pidgeotto was hard at work. They spiraled in a powerful whirlwind and screamed with the torrential rains that poured down on the ground below. Hold still little sheep, I only want to send you into outer space. What? Too much? Fine…fine…I’ll just knock her over into the other route…about fifty yards that way…and… What the what?! Jupiter managed to regain her usually forgetful mind, shaking her head as she began to create a large electric ball at the end of her tail and took aim for the sky chicken that floated high above her. The ball soared through the air on a collision course that was perfectly marked for the large osprey. Pidgeotto's eyes widened as though they were saucer pans that would slip right out of their place on the bird’s face. It’s beak fell open with a wide, shocked gasp. Oh no, that’s not good! Let me escape this nightmare in one piece! The bird tore through the skies, swerving in and out of thick, dark grey clouds like it had tasted one too many fermented drinks and should have its pilot’s license suspended. It swooped up high, spun around, and ducked down low. No matter where it went, that stupid ball of electricity was sure to go! Then with one hit – BAM, FOOL! – the bird tumbled from the skies above and landed somewhere off in the distance, presumably dead fainted, jeez you evil readers, fainted. Pidgeotto’s gunna be ok after a nice nap. Wild Encounter Weather: Thunderstorm (rain) [attr="class","qkt-bkgd"] [attr="class","qkt-wild-pkmn"] Pidgeotto LV 24 HP 0% [0/71]

Maxwell king » Word Count: OOC: Heading onwards to Goldenrod City! The wild Pidgeotto looked awfully confident staring down at Jupiter for above, the powerful avian had clearly missed the part where Max had pre-emptively warned it that the type based advantage his Flaaffy had over it would mark the end of the flying type pokemon's territorial tirade. Maxwell could only shake his head in disappointment, the bird was too stupid to heed his advice and it was for sure going to learn its lesson the hard way, literally.
"Suit yourself bird brains, I did warn you"
Pidgeotto took off back into the skies as Jupiter toddled around in the weather aimlessly, like a toddler exploring the world outside for the very first time. It was the sheer innocence that Jupiter possessed that seemed to give trainers and their pokemon and also wild pokemon a false sense of security that the battle was already won against her, little did they know how truly powerful she was. The flying type pokemon begun to once again prepare another whirlwind like gust attack, it would all be for nigh however as a large electric ball had formed at the end of Jupiter's tail and then had been set on a collision course with the raptor like avian pokemon who attempted to avoid it like a mouse trying to escape from a cat,
"An aerial game of cat and mouse in the middle of a damn thunderstorm, not even Pokewood would come up with scripts like this"
After a hot pursuit, the large electric ball found its target and the electricity reverberated through the flying type pokemon's body as it tumbled from the skies above and landed off somewhere in the distance, out of the immediate sight of Max and his electric type partner pokemon. Max nodded his gratitude to Jupiter for so effortlessly handling the situation as he returned his bubbly pink sheep pokemon to her pokeball and continued to trudge his way along the rain soaked route in hopes of arriving in Goldenrod City sooner rather than later, the male young adult was cold and starving and wasn't going to pause his travels any further to accommodate any imbecile trainers or pokemon that decided to make him detour.
Edit: Tarlar I'll give learning it a miss, thanks though
