Are there some people on your call list that you regret adding to your PokeGear because they call you and never really have anything of importance, like an item or a battle? Juggler Irwin is like that for me, but he tends to creep me out since it is apparent that he follows STALKS ME. He calls whenever I do something and says he was watching me from a distance. Is that not creepy?
And, of course, mom. She likes buying you a bunch of berries youll never use that much. Five of each is fine, but I am not going to use 50 Pasho Berries. I then got the great idea to take all my money away from her and told her to stop saving my cash so she won't buy me useless stuff anymore. I got all the useful items out of her, so no need to let her handle the cash now.

I wouldn't say there are any I particularly regret. Joey can phone an insane amount of times but i'm starting to get to the point where I just proceed on, ignoring the phone call. Liz's conversations prove to be a bit awkward as she goes on and on about her Pokemon. Irwin is literally just too cool. I thought it was pretty cool having this rabid fan following your exploits. ;D I just wish the gym leaders would phone more often. *pokes their contact names*

Chuck called me the other day and told me how he loves eating sweets. But you know what I wish? I wish I could get Crasher Wake's number! I mean, he just stands there by the waterfall near the Safari Zone! He's odd, but cool! I'd die to talk to him sometimes just to hear what he has to say.

Is THAT where he ended up!? I remember bumping into him in Goldenrod or Celadon or WHEREVER the hell has all those fancy department stores and he just sort of. Walked away. D: Still, I bet his phone calls are interesting.
Speaking of interesting phonecalls, can you imagine what it would be like if you had Red's? ;D "... ... ... ... ... *click*"

Or Silver.
"Hey dork. I'm going to pound you. My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die."
I actually don't get many calls. Maybe Mt. Silver is a little out of range. Or maybe it's because they want to call just as I start talking to my Pokemon.

Ohh mom.
Let's just say it's a nice new twist that you no longer automatically answer your phone. XD

Or Silver. "Hey dork. I'm going to pound you. My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die." Of all the places... I was not expecting such a coup! Bravo, Latani! Still, I had a pretty creepy one from Prof. Oak today. It went a little something like this: "Hello! I see you've been catching a lot of Pokemon. *click*" I then proceeded to finely comb the vicinity to see how the hell he was spying on me.

One aspect I don't like is that the trainers call you when they feel like rematching you instead of you just tasing them with your Vs. Seeker until they give in and you fight them over and over and over again. It is barely made up for with some of the trainers giving you items right after the battle, like saying "Sorry we took out the Vs. Seeker. HAVE AN HP UP"

You know what would've been a really neat feature? If you could've used your PokeGear to contact other people in real life. Not like a cellphone where you call them, but you're able to send personal messages to them. Like giving mail, but without being limited to really dumb phrase restrictions or needing to trade Pokemon. You just put in your message, it sends it over the internet, then when your friend hooks online like through the GTS, they get the mail you sent them.
...just saying.

Another thing I would like is for Red to speak. I wonder what he would say.

That's quite an awesome idea actually and given the DS' technology available it makes you wonder why they didn't include such a feature. As much as I love Pokemon, there are just a few things i'd wish they'd exploit the potential on. Then again, being able to talk in an actual telephone conversation would have been pretty cool if you ask me. ;D That would have been cool. Another thing I would like is for Red to speak. I wonder what he would say. Meh, Red speaking would be likely ruined by the fact they'd make him act all chummy and happy go lucky which is a worrying trend they're doing for most of those trainers. I prefer him to be all silent as it just adds to the fact "OMG I'M FACING MYSELF!" if you played any of the original games.

Yeah after thinking about it that is probably true either he would say something stupid or he would act like ash when he speaks. So in the end it is better that he does not since he is the First gens character and the Character never speaks in the games.
