It wasn't long until Penelope noticed the sound of leaves rustling. It wasn't the kind that the wind was blowing by and rustling leaves, but the sound of something coming closer and rustling the leaves underneath its feet. Then, Penelope saw both her Skiddo and the wild Foongus were growing in size. Alright, they both have Growth, very typical of grass type Pokemon. Her Bellsprout had that too.
Then, the two grass type exchanged their next attacks. The Foongus liked to startle the opponent, Penelope thought. Well, she wasn't going to devastate the Foongus next. She heard of a rumor that there are some Pokemon that only comes out to help other Pokemon stuck in a difficult battle. She dug through her bag for an Adrenaline Orb. It looked just like a regular blue sphere.
"Hang in there, Skiddo! We're going to see if there's more forest friends hiding!" She told her new Pokemon to standby. "Here, take this!" And then she threw the orb at the Foongus, to see what happens next.

I never played a game with SOS battle so idk if you toss it, you break the orb yourself, you put it in water and it dissolves?

The small white mushroom with its large red-and-white Pokeball shaped dome head cried out loudly as it began to pat itself down. Skiddo’s attack really stung. Though, it wasn’t out for the count yet. It’s eyes narrowed down suspiciously upon Penelope as she began fumbling around in her bag for something and it hopped down and down erratically on its feet while swinging its arms. “Foooong fooong!” It cried, warning them that if they did not leave it would make them pay. And it would do everything in its power to ensure that it did exactly that! Penelope pulled out a small blue orb, though, that caught the Foongus off-guard. When she tossed it at the Pokemon, it hopped over and tilted its head curiously. It’s small black eyes darted from the object to Penelope with cautious apprehension, as though it were unsure that it could trust this ‘peace offering’ that she was trying to make with it. It looked like a berry…and yet, not like a berry at the same time. The Foongus reached out and tapped the small blue orb curiously, before it exploded in a puff of smoke. The Foongus cried loudly, swinging its arms and hopping backwards to try and escape the smoke. “Fffooooonnng! Fooooong! Guuuus guuus!” Something rustled through the thick pile of scattered leaves, broken branches, and forest debris. The grasses shook all around them as another wild Foongus appeared and stood next to its friend. It glared at their opponent, then turned to its partner with concerned eyes. “Foong foong?” “Gus gus!” They spoke to each other as the friend Foongus questioned the orbs Foongus about what was happening to it. The Orb Foongus shot a thick cloud of spores up into the air that the Skiddo breathed in as they discussed the situation that the orbed Foongus was facing at length. Then, the friend Foongus turned on the travelers with angry eyes. “Foong foong!” It declared, promising to make them pay for their treasonous acts. Wild Encounter

Penelope observed after she flung the Adrenaline Orb, and after the Foongus curiously touched the orb with its almost limbless body, the orb disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Their arms were so small that you could missed it. Then, another Foongus popped up and joined the fray, after talking to each other for a bit first. She was amused at first, but now understood how this thing worked.
"Oooh... so it doesn't shatters like glass." She commented to herself, noted that the orb would allow the wild Pokemon to call their friends to help.
She thought for a bit on what to do next, but quickly decided for her Skiddo. "Go for another Growth! We're gonna need more power here!" She cried. The Skiddo bleated its battle cry, and then grew himself bigger again, and waited to see what the opponents might do. Skiddo was already taller and larger than Foongus, but now it seemed to be even bigger and taller, and looking more threatening.

The two white mushrooms jumped up and down excitedly as they stared at Skiddo. One nodded to the other one and they talked at length about their plans. The newly arrived Foongus tilted its head and murmured to the orbed Foongus with a curious look. It highlighted a large, unknown object with its arms trying to play some type of game of charades with the other Foongus. The smaller Foongus scratched the side of its body with its arm thoughtfully, then smiled brightly and nodded its head eagerly. “Foong! Foong!” It agreed, before spinning back around to face off with Skiddo. Skiddo began to increase his size just as Penelope instructed. The furry brown goat with bright green foliage draped around his neck focused as a bright light of energy swallowed his entire form. The Skiddo’s horns enlarged as they grew out and became even curlier on his head. Towering over the two Foongus and coming nearly up to Penelope’s shoulders with his newfound height, he stomped a hoof into the ground and bleated at his opponents. The Foongus’ eyes widened with terror and fear. They started hopping wildly in place and shaking their arms nervously at their sides. “Fooong! Guss foong! Gus gus!” The larger Foongus declared and focused on itself for a moment. Within a flash, a bright white life enveloped the mushroom Pokemon. The white mushroom began to grow and expand in size so that it stood just under the Skiddo’s height but towered over the orbed Foongus all the same. It stared up at Skiddo and gulped with worry as it strived to remain brave and fierce in front of their opponent. The orbs Foongus narrowed its eyes on Skiddo. Then, it leaped at the goat as it rallied a loud battle cry and shocked the other Pokemon with its startling attack. Smirking, it nodded its head approvingly to itself. “Foongus foong.” It congratulated its own efforts. Wild Encounter

Penelope giggled for a bit, as her Skiddo grew in size, and then one of the Foongus followed after. It was like a sizing competition, except with the Foongus's short stature, there's no way the tiny mushroom Pokemon can catch up to the Skiddo's sizing. Then, the other Foongus shrieked in an attempt to scare the Skiddo, which only made the young calf grumbled disappointedly. The human on the other hand, found this hilarious and strange. She muffled her own giggle for a bit, and then inhaled deeply to catch her own breath.
"Alright, Growth again!" She hollered. She was trying to keep this battle simple, but the continuous growth made it seemed like it wasn't. The Skiddo bleated and happily grew in size again, disregarding what the two Foongus were doing. He was easily bigger and taller than they were. Now that he got big again, he was wondering if Penelope would had him finally attack again, but first, let's see what the other two opponents did.

The two fungi looked at each other with a devious smirk. They bounced up and down excitedly and waved their arms. It seemed as though they were purposefully trying to antagonize Penelope’s little goat into battling them. One even hopped over to the Skiddo as it grew yet again and began larger than Penelope herself. It towered over them, and even as fear lurked inside of their eyes, they fought back to try and keep a brave face in the midst of the danger that they felt. Something seemed… different…off. Why was this strange goat only trying to grow itself in size repeatedly? “Fooong. Foooong!” One shouted with a loud call to its friend. The other tilted its head then nodded in unison. Maybe this Pokemon wasn’t as tough as they thought it was! The orbed Foongus definitely felt like this strange goat had really packed a punch in the earlier moments of they fight. Did it simply run out of the stamina needed to battle them head on? Was all this growing an attempt of the Skiddo at finding more stamina to pack a punch yet again?! The Friendo Foongus’ eyes widened in alarm, and it hopped back before lowering its head as a bright green beam of energy would shoot from the tip of its head. The other Foongus’ arms would lift up and fire their own bright green beam of energy. The shots hit both of the Pokemon directly in an attempt to absorb some health from the furry-and-grassy goat. Though, the more they fired away, the more Skiddo’s hooves and body seemed to glow with a strange and ominous tint. What was happening now?! Why didn’t their attacks seem to have any affect?! They stopped and hopped back and pure terror entered their eyes as they realized what they had done. The Skiddo looked tough now, like it could have rammed through a small building and felt barely a thing from the impact. Was it too late for the Foongus to hightail it and run away? Their eyes searched wildly for an escape route. Wild Encounter

The two Foongus were quiet for a bit, observing the Skiddo. Then, one of the two chimed a sound, as if it was a command. The mushroom Pokemon were looking at each other, then nodded. Then, they conjured a green energy beam toward the Skiddo, but the longer the beam blasted, the larger Skiddo looked. Penelope smiled at the young grass type's simple attacks, that were ineffective against her Pokemon. The young goat grew taller and bigger, now towering over both of the Pokemon's height combined. If Skiddo grew any taller, he might even tower Penelope, or not.
"Thank you, Foongus!" She smiled and talked to the little Pokemon.
"Now, go for a Tackle on the new Foongus!" Penelope commanded, pointing at the Foongus that came in after the Adrenaline Orb was thrown. The now larger Skiddo bleated, and happily ran toward the summoned Foongus. He kicked off the fallen leaves and dirt below his hooves, and got ready for a heavy Tackle. He shook his feet and stomped the ground as warm up. Each of his footstep was quite loud and impactful than before, and when he was ready, he charged forward.

Both of the white mushroom Pokemon turned to each other apprehensively. It would seem as though their best made efforts would only add fuel to the fire underneath their enemy’s eyes. They needed a new idea and fast! One jumped up high in the air and wiggled around like a tadpole splashing in a river. The other bobbed up and down as it shook its head in understanding. It was clear that what they needed to do was to strike the beast before the beast could strike them and try again to get it to slow down or stop altogether. Maybe a previous attempt was a fluke, and they would have better luck now? Skiddo rushed in as his hooved pounded against the leaf-littered floor. The old foliage crunched with a soft, almost sickening sound underneath his hooves. Bits of the dried leaves and old, discarded sticks would fly up behind the Skiddo as he kicked them up in his wake. As soon as he neared his opponent, he would whip around and kick the larger Foongus with his hind legs, then spin back around and ram into the Pokemon with the side of his body. The larger Foongus was still much smaller than the growth-induced Skiddo who never skipped leg day or ‘ eat your steroid chicken, kids’ day. It cried in pain as the Pokemon toppled it over. It's friend rushed to its side and bobbed its head back and forth as it tried to see if it was ok. The Friendo Foongus smirked, jumping up and shouting with strange, loud sounds. It would immediately start hopping all over the place. It bounced up and over Skiddo. As it flew over the Skiddo from a well-placed hop it would land sideways on the trunk of a tree only to immediately kick off and land on top of a stump. It tried its best to startle its opponent, even though the damage had already been done. The smaller Foongus, realizing that its Friendo was already setting their plan in motion, hopped around Skiddo’s feet carefully as it kicked up a thick dust of paralyzing spores…that would have absolutely no effect on the goat Pokemon… Wild Encounter

The Foongus communicated again, nonverbally with their small body jumping up and down. Penelope exhaled a "huh?" at the weird Pokemon opponents. She wasn't sure what they were doing, or communicating. Skiddo didn't mind them, as no matter how high they jumped, they're still below his eye level. Then, they began their motion by jumping around here and there, left to right, right to left, and more. When they finally attacked, it was underwhelming to the gigantic grass type. Their battle moved and shook the ground, kicking leaves from the ground and had them floating in the air for some dramatic seconds.
"They're getting feisty and energetic," Penelope commented. "Don't mind them, Skiddo! Go for another Tackle on the big one!" She called out the next move. The young goat bleated, and began charging toward the Foongus that came in to assist the original one, the same one he hit earlier. Narctar stood close to Penelope, and cheered for the Skiddo in their Pokemon language.

The Foongus were scared out of their wits end. They could feel the cataclysmic shift of time and space itself as hardly anything seems to work against this gigantic goat. The smaller Foongus’ eyes widened, and it pops backwards several feet. Was this mission impossible?! Were they doomed to fail from the start?! What was this strange bloodthirsty sheep-thing that wanted to take them out by any means necessary?! And was that gleam in its eyes a bloodthirsty need to plow through any foe before it?! A sadistic need to make the Foongus into mushroom soup, perhaps?! It didn’t wanna go out like that! Nothing, and it means absolutely nothing was worth defending THAT badly! They could have the WHOLE mushroom forest for all it cared! But the larger friend jumped in front of the small one and crossed its arms over its ‘chest’ defensively. It shook its head and pointed back towards their enemy. The smaller Foongus shook its head and began waving its arm around wildly, creating strange air designs as it did so. Then, it dramatically fell to the floor as though it had hurt itself and fainted. The larger Foongus sighed and jumped up and down as though it were tapping its ‘foot’ on the ground in annoyance. It shoved the smaller Foongus back up to stand and pointed once more towards their enemy with a loud “UH HMM!” Then Skiddo descended upon it, slamming into the Foongus and knocking it out. The smaller ones eyes widened in alarm as it spun around wildly and began trying to absorb any shred of health it could muster from Skiddo. But…this mystery sorcerer only seemed to grow stronger AGAIN! Alarmed, it placed its hands around the sides of its face and hollered into the void. The trees shook and shivered for a moment, then the void hollered back. Something moved at a blinding speed through the scattered leaves that littered the floor. It popped up, knocking a huge golden-brown maple leaf up into the air, and appeared with a wave of its hands. The orbed Foongus then began blabbering at the top of its lungs and quickly explained everything to the new Foongus. Wild Encounter

OOC: The Level 8 one with full health
The Skiddo bleated and charged forward, and soon enough, the larger Foongus was hit and passed out. It used the last of its strength to get out of the battle, apologizing to the original Foongus, and then hastily hopped out of the battle. Soon enough, the fainted and gone Foongus was replaced by another Foongus to the rescue. The two were conversing in Foongus speak as the original one was explaining everything happened so far to the new one.
"Hey, there's another Foongus!" Penelope hollered to try to stop them from talking with each other. "Skiddo, use Tackle on the one that just came in!"
This might have been her first battle using the strange orb, but she now got the idea. The orbed Pokemon would be calling their friends to help out the battle. However, she wondered how many times those friends could come help, and what if it lasted a whole day? Hopefully not too long!
The young goat bleated again before charging forward the new Foongus. The Skiddo was now at the height of his powers, and even his bleating sounded powerful. Narctar briefly wondered what it would be like to have four legs, but then shook his head and discarded the idea as he would much prefer the way he was now.

The two Foongus stared at each other as they deliberated between one another. Penelope spoke, catching the new Foongus’ attention. The smaller Foongus turned to the girl and hopped over to get a better look at her. Tall. Very tall. Probably the tallest thing a small Foongus had to compare anything to. Like a moving tree with a blabbering mouth, really. But oh so young – no bumps, crevices, or any signs of aging that the Foongus could discern. And short black vines that shot out from the top of her body…how odd. Yet, she spoke. Pointed out the obvious and carried on. The smaller Foongus held up a finger and wagged it disapprovingly at Penelope before hopping back over to its friend. Skiddo kicked off of the ground and raced after the Foongus. The smaller one bunched itself up so that it seemed almost like a ball on the ground as the Skiddo ran full-force in its direction. Then it would unleash its body in a spring-like motion to hop over the Skiddo just a split second before they collided. It laughed as it landed and shook itself off, then placed its hands on its friend and gestured towards the Skiddo while making large, elaborate motions in the air. The Orbed Foongus nodded in understanding, placing a hand against its face and tilting its body as though in deep though. Skiddo whipped around, hooves clacking against the harsh grassy ground. He would ram his horned head into the smaller Foongus, flipping it back up into the air. It landed on the ground, wiggled a tad to try and lift itself back up, then collapse as it lost the will to fight. The larger Foogus’ eyes widened in alarm. Another of its friend was taken out in the blink of an eye! Who was this monstrous beast?! It flared its nostrils before turning around and trying to flee into the forest. But Skiddo hopped in front of it and lowered his head with a loud bleat. The Orbed Foongus began kicking up thick fumes of paralyzing spores even though it would have no effect on Skiddo. It screamed at the top of its lungs. The scream was a blood curling sound that wailed and lamented on how it was going to inevitably lose without additional help, and how it desperately just wanted to see the light of another day. Another Foongus – larger than the last and almost as large as the first friend the Orbed Foongus had originally called – appeared like a beacon of hope. Wild Encounter

A Foongus hopped close and tried to wagged its finger toward Penelope, and she was confused for a second because she wasn't sure if the wild Pokemon was trying to flicker her off or wagged like a child. Do Pokemon in the wild knew how to curse? She thought likely not, so why was it wagging its finger like a child, where did the Foongus learned it from?
Then, she watched and listened to her Skiddo charging toward one of the Skiddo and knocked it out of the park. The Foongus might knew some team work acrobatics, but the young goat was able to hit one of them. Soon enough, one of the Foongus was down once again. The orbed and panicking Foongus might have tried to use a spore attack at the Skiddo, but it was useless against its sap sipper. Soon enough, another Foongus replaced the previous one, but the battle dynamic was not going to improve for that side.
"You did great, Skiddo! Now go for a Razor Leaf attack!" She cheered happily after the Foongus was down. The goat bleated and then lowered his head as he prepared to unleashed some mighty sharp Razor Leaf express.

The orbed Foongus hopped sporadically around on the ground. Why was its fumes not working? Did the Skiddo have some magical ‘fumes be gone’ barrier that the Foongus didn’t know about?! Clearly, the Skiddo was the main character in this entire showdown because everything was working in its favor, and nothing seemed to go right for the Foongus. The smaller Foongus bounced up and down as it waved its hands at its sides as though it might start dancing. “Fffoooonng gus gus foooonngg!” It cried loudly and shouted its conspiracy theories to its friend. The larger Foongus hopped over and gently slapped its friend across the face as it shook its head. “Fooonguuss Fooong!” It disagreed, stating that when the going got rough they would always prevail! What a leader! That was why the orbed Foongus had called this larger mushroom over to fight in the War! This would be the legendary Skiddo War of Foongus Land! Their children would speak of their fame! The stories would all be passed around warm campfires where they roasted small Apricorns and dreamed fondly of better times in the past. Yes! It must be so! The Foongus already knew the names of its grandchildren! Foongus 30040550 and Foongus 30040554! There wasn’t any way that history could rewrite a future that they were destined for! Right? Well…the large furry brown goat rushed over and began kicking up a windstorm of spiraling, sharp leaves. He slung the leaves in its fierce tornado towards the two Foongus. The sharp, jagged edges cut into both of the Pokemon fiercely, slicing them all across the tops of their domes and along their bodies. “Ffoooongg! Guuuuusss!” The smaller fungi cried out and jumped backwards! The room was spinning! Pain throbbed and ached in every inch of its entire being! Everything was getting so dark. So incredibly…incredibly…dark! It needed helped! It needed healing berries like yesterday! It could see a small light at the end of this dark, dark tunnel! “Foongus…gus?” Should it…could it…run towards the light? Please wait for it, small future grandchildren! Foongus would run after you and save your future if it could! Annnnnd… splat. The smaller one collapsed over in a fainted heap, snoring its head off. The larger one simply rolled its eyes at its dramatic friend and began increasing its size so that it could grow larger and stronger for the assault. Wild Encounter
