Lei watched her heracross run across the rocks and the wild pokemon leap out of the way and disappearing. Asynje tried several times to call out in general, to make the wild pokemon know they were looking for a challenge and if anybody wanted to take them up on that? No one seemed to be interested though, or perhaps they were too scared to notice.
Lei's eyes widened when she spotted a shroomish and she was quick to find a pokeball as that was a pokemon she hadn't seen around here before. Asynje turned to the grass type and she crouched a bit as she readied herself for a battle.
"Here to answer my call?" She asked as Cappy was the first pokemon in quite some time who wasn't running away from her, but the grass type didn't exactly look like she was about to attack her. Asynje sized up the shroomish as she tried to guess how their strengths were compared to each other.

Lei lowered the pokeball again when she noticed Aphrodite and a smile spread across her face.
"Hey! Over here!" She called from the rock she was sitting on and she waved to get the other woman to get her attention, "that was fast!" She called out, Nate had been effective if he had already found someone to come get her and they were her almost before he had been out of sight. She looked around.
"Are you the only one coming?" She asked and worry sneaked into her voice even though she tried to keep it light and friendly, Aphrodite didn't look like one who could carry her far but perhaps she had a big pokemon on her which could.

A couple of shelled pokemon suddenly made themselves known, by their attempt to try hiding. She stared as she watched the dwebble push the shellder forward to sacrifice it, and flinched when the dwebble flew through the air a moment later and landed in between her and Cappy. She glanced at the shroomish before she looked between the two wild pokemon.
"You.. you didn't hear my calls?" She asked confused, "is my voice really that bad?" she mumbled and wondered if she could do anything to make it louder if others couldn't hear what she shouted.
"I'm trying to find someone who wants to battle me," she explained and rubbed the back of her neck, "I guess most has answered my challenge by running away," and she flinched once again when she got a fistful of sand thrown in the face.

"Oh! Wait a bit! I want to catch that Shellder!" Lei exclaimed and would interrupt whatever Aphrodite might be saying to her at that time, she groaned as she forced herself up standing and limped forward as her muscles in her injured leg screamed in protest now they had become cold. The shellder seemed occupied and she flung a net ball at it the moment she got the chance.

Aphrodite and Cappy continued to explore the Rock Pool. Every once in a while, Cappy would hop around some of the larger boulders to add a little bit of height to herself in order to get a better view of her surroundings. "Hi Cappy, have you found anything interesting yet?" Aprodite would ask her Pokemon before turning her attention towards the water. It was not a surprise that the golden-haired Beauty Trainer found herself falling into a trance as she admired her lovely reflection through the small body of water. Meanwhile, Cappy continued to explore the area in hopes of finding a decent Pokemon to challenge to a battle. Luckily, or unfortunately, Cappy would notice a massive blue bug-type Pokemon approaching her. The small mushroom-like creature would take a few quick steps back as the Heracross moved closer towards her.

Aphrodite's focus would soon shift away from her stunning reflection after hearing an unfamiliar face calling out for her attention. She quickly turned her body around and noticed an older female on sitting on a rock. Aphrodite greeted the woman with a warm smile and friendly handwave as she walked towards her.

"Am I the only one coming? What do you mean by that?" Aphrodite questioned her, not yet realizing that the trainer is injured at the moment.

Cappy found her small body starting to relax a bit the moment she noticed that the Heracross did not seem to want to cause her any harm. At least, not this time. "Umm...I was able to make out some of your words," Cappy replied with a half-smile. If she had shoulders she would have shrugged them a little. "To be honest, I was looking for a battle earlier, but I kind of changed my mind after seeing you... I would not be able to do a lot of damage to you...S-so, I would water fight against a water-type or something like that," she added, hoping that Asynje would be understanding.

Cappy quickly leaped out of the way of the flying sand after watching the dust make contact with the Heracross' body. "Whoa! That was so close!" Cappy pointed out the obvious before switching her attention toward the wild Pokemon. "Hey! That was not nice! What's the problem between you two?" She questioned the two Wild Pokemon.

It was the moment that Lei struggled to stand up a bit that Aphrodite would pay full attention to her injury. "Wait! You should be taking it easy, miss!" Aphrodite attempted to warn her before walking behind her. Even though she barely knew the trainer, she wanted to make sure that she is okay and not at risk of damaging her leg even more. "Listen. I'm not trying to tell you what to do...But I think your health is way more important than catching a Shellder right now. Let's go find someone to treat your injury now than later you can focus on other things," she spoke with a look of concern spread across her face.



OOC: Tossed a Poke Ball at the Dweeble?

The unwanted battle of a lifetime would commence between the Heracross, Shellder, Dwebble, and Shroomish. The two wild Pokemon stared with wide eyes as the young trainers each pulled out different types of balls and tossed them in the air with the click of a button. The small purple bivalve did the only thing it knew how to do and closed its shell up tightly, hoping that by hiding itself away inside of its shell the trainer wouldn’t be able to catch it. The bright blue ball with black webbing over its top dome soared through the air and tapped the purple mollusk on the top of its shell, sucking the Pokemon inside. It landed in the watery rocks with a small clack and wiggled about between two large, jagged rocks, before releasing a resounding ding.

The Dwebble was a lot smarter than its friend, however. As soon as the bright red ball with its white bottom soared through the air, it rushed across the rocky terrain at the top of its feet. The Dwebble would spin around several time, collecting large piles of sand in its claws that it slung at the ball in a desperate attempt to knock it off path. One of the piles of sand that it managed to toss would slam into the side of the bright red ball and send it spiraling back at Aphrodite, hitting her on the side of her head. A bright red beam of light would wrap around her to try to suck her inside, though it would fail fabulously and cause the ball to shatter into a million pieces in its strange, failed attempt to capture a human trainer.

“We don’t want to battle you!” The Dwebble puffed up its chest and scuttled on top of the large jagged rock that sat just above Shellder’s ball. “See? You’ve already captured the Shellder, now go home!” Why were they even here? At this poolside? The Dwebble had never before seen such strange creatures on two legs before, who only attacked through the use of other Pokemon at their beck and call. Why wouldn’t they just leave it and its family alone?! It gathered more sand and tossed it at Asynje, hitting her slap dab in the face. “The Shellder is more than enough, so leave me out of it! Please!!!” It demanded, with an exasperated cry as it scuttled off the huge granite to try and hide behind the large, jagged piece of stone.

Lei's smile slowly fainted when Aphrodite didn't sound like she knew what Lei was talking about, "you.. you haven't talked to Nate, have you?" She asked slowly, "he's a young man who went out to get someone to help me back to the camp," she explained and sighed, "I don't think I will dare hope you have some big strong pokemon which could carry me?" She asked with a little laugh.

The thirty year old woman's painful groan got mingled with laughter when Aphrodite's worried arguments for her safety.
"I'm not going to die from a bruised leg!" She protested with a grin, sweat running down her neck and with a clenched jaw, "and I disagree, that shellder is important as this is my first chance to catch one."
Stubbornly she took a few steps forward and flung the net ball at the pokemon. Of course she hit it and it worked just as it should, confirming the capture a moment later. Lei sighed relieved and returned to sit down on the rock she had been resting on.
"Oh? You are interested in catching the dwebble?" Lei said surprised, "Hey! Asynje! Give that dwebble a little tackle! Hold back though!" She shouted to her heracross.
The woman ducked her head and raised her hands in protection as the pokeball came flying back at them and hit Aprhodite in the head.
"Are you alright?" She'd ask worriedly but had a hard time keeping from smiling at the incident.
Lapis flapped over to spread some chilliness around her now she had been sweating and he bowed his head to Aphrodite even though she had paid him no interest yet.

"As for my leg, I got attacked by a krabby but it didn't break the skin and I can put weight on the leg. I doubt it's broken but of course I can't do much and out here it can be a problem. It's certainly too far for me to go back to the camp, so Nate went out to find some help," Lei explained casually and lifted her trouser leg to inspect her now blue and black spotted leg. She grimaced and once again wished she was back home and could be resting in a soft bed with someone taking care of her, and having a doctor making sure it wouldn't give her any troubles later on, and give him some pain meds!

Asynje's shoulders fell and she looked down, not sure what she was supposed to do now. Lei had ordered her to find someone to battle but the one she found didn't want to battle her at all, and everyone else ran away.
"I had hoped my calls would have made someone step forward to face me," she said quietly and glanced nervously back at Lei as she wondered what the trainer expected of her.

Asynje stared speechless at what happened in front of her, from the capture of the shellder, to the accusations from sand throwing of the dwebble, which she was a sitting duck for. It made her flinch again and she woke up to action, just as Lei shouted her order to her.
Asynje rolled her shoulders and took a step forward, "that's too late now, I'm sorry," she said grimly as she reminded herself how the dwebble, and still was, trying to throw the shellder out to them to save itself.
"I don't think its a water type, do you still want to battle it?" She asked Cappy, "as you probably have heard I have been ordered to attack, so you or your trainer better take a decision fast."
The heracross turned back the the self made shell carrying bug pokemon, "what's the difference between battling us and battling another wild pokemon? We at least aren't going to eat you, if you are getting caught you are fed and kept safe," she informed and tried to run around the rock to tackle the dwebble out into the open.

Aphrodite shook her head and rubbed the back of her neck when Lei asked her if she had talked to a younger male by the name of Nate. "Sorry, but I do not believe that I know anyone here by that name," she replied back to her. "Um, I'm sure that at least one of my Pokemon should be able to carry you back to the camp," she added, giving Lei a half-smile.

Aphrodite sighed and rolled her eyes after hearing Lei protest against her. The older woman was a lot more stubborn than she appeared to be at the moment. To be honest, Aphrodite could not blame her for wanting to give it her all to catch a rare Pokemon.

"I like Fairy-types and Pokemon that belong to the fairy egg group. I'm really interested in the Dwebble for myself, but I figured that someone else might be... It is a rare Pokemon, isn't it?" She asked Lei. Luckily for Lei, she managed to capture the Shellder. Unfortunately for Aphrodite, her plan to catch the Dwebble did not go as planned for her. "Oof! That hurt! You do not have to be so rude you hermit crab!" Aphrodite shouted at the Wild Pokemon by gently rubbing her reddened face. it took a lot of self-restraint from her to not throw something back at the rude and hideous Pokemon. "Yeah, I'll be okay. Dwebble is going to pay for that, just watch!" She assured Lei before giving Lapis a warm and gentle smile.

Meanwhile, Cappy halfway listened to her opponent's words. She was so upset that the Dwebble disrespected her trainer that she did not wish to show it any mercy. Cappy did nod her head at her teammate's words and as she waited for Aphrodite to give her a command.

"Mega Drain!" Aphrodite finally gave her Pokemon a command.

The small red bug hid inside of its rock so that only its large, scared eyes seemed to illuminate from within the darkness. Why did this strange looking bug with a horn on its head try to find wild Pokemon to fight? They often fought over territory out here in the wilderness, but the Dwebble wasn’t so sure that it had noticed any of the humans trying to stake claim to anything out here. “Why do you want an opponent so badly?” It asked, pressing its head slightly outside of its home with a curious look. “Wouldn’t you be more suited to claiming territory further off – like in the forested areas away from here?” At first, it wouldn’t budge from behind the large stone where it hid, instead only proposing its questions from its hidden safe space.

When Asynje rushed in and slammed into Dwebble, chasing it out from behind the large rock where it hid. It ran, throwing its claws up into the air, and spun back around where the waking world where the trainers were. It darted in long circles around the large rock, hopping over small pebbles and stones within is path. Asynje managed to catch the small Pokemon and used her horn to flip it up into the air. It landed, bouncing along the way across the rocks, and stopped inside of a large divot in the ground where the waters were much deeper than the surrounding areas. When Dwebble rolled back onto its feet, the waters lapped over its head, causing the small rocky bug to have to scuttle out and on top of one of them, to remain above the waves. “I don’t want to be fed and safe!” Dwebble protested.

Didn’t they understand?! It loved its life here and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world! Why were they so dead set on trying to capture it?! Dwebble, finally having enough of these flowery words, roared loudly in frustration and anger. It raced over to Cappy and lifted her up high with its sharp pinchers, slamming the small mushroom on the ground. “Just let me live in peace! Why can’t you understand that?! I don’t want what you’re offering me! It isn’t peaceful and bliss TO ME!” Cappy spun around as a bright green beam of energy shot out of her head and zapped a large percentage of health from the small Dwebble, causing it to stagger a bit and shake its head. Why didn’t they listen?!

"I guessed that much," Lei sighed when Aphrodite confirmed she hadn't been sent by Nate, she wondered how long it would take for the teenager to get some help. Would people even be interested in helping her if she was just going to be dead weight for the rest of them? They were many so she doubted they would really just ditch her, and her pokemon could still be useful even if she would need some time to recover.
"Really?!" Lei exclaimed eagerly barely daring to believe her luck, perhaps Aphrodite had some big strong awesome pokemon like him Marchbaby-guy. "What kind? And do you have time to help me now?" She asked, who knew, perhaps the pretty woman wanted to catch some pokemon first, "I can wait a bit longer, no problem."

Lei pretended not to notice Aphrodite sighing over her stubborness, but come one, she finally found a rare pokemon she needed and it wasn't like she was dying or anything. She just had a sore and bruised leg, nothing else.
"I don't think its easy to find no, I have seen a few around here so they might be more common on the islands, but how many ever reach this place? We have been here for weeks by now and no-one has seen any others," The black haired woman said as she looked at the dwebble.

Lei snorted and covered her mouth to hide her laugh at Aphrodite's reaction, it was refreshing to hear someone else think like herself.
"Yeah, they are clearly not used to trainers and humans out here, nor how they are supposed to act when we're around, I caught the krabby which did this to me," Lei said with a wry smile and gestured to her leg, "you can be sure it will be taught to behave properly when I get the chance." She looked more serious, "it's a huge problem when pokemon target humans, don't you think? Usually pokemon in the mainland, the ones used to us, know to target our pokemon and make it a fair fight then, if they begin target humans, we're surely going to do something to keep us self safe, and who knows where that will end?" Lei said urgently and suddenly felt it very important that Aphrodite could understand what Lei said.
"Are you still planning on trying to catch it?" Lei asked as their pokemon 'fairly' attacked the single bug which was left.

Asynje looked surprised at the dwebble and scratched her head a bit, "I don't want any territory, I'm traveling with my trainer and will be moving away soon anyway," she explained thoughtfully, "I want someone to battle since I'm not very good you see, and I hope to become better at battling."
She then chased the bug around and finally managed to flip it around but she didn't look pleased at all, "see? I'm not very good at this, I keep struggling to even hit you guys," she grumbled half to herself.
Her mouth fell open when the dwebble declared it didn't want to be safe and fed, and she looked at Cappy to see what the shroomish had to say to that.
"Wait, what?!" Asynje exclaimed mouth agape, "then what do you want? It's not like a bird is going to leave you alone either, we at least aren't going to eat you in any way."

"Asynje! Leer!" Came the order, no need to risk knocking it out if Aphrodite wanted it even if it was just to teach it a lesson and sell it off to the first and best buyer.

Aphrodite could not help, but start to wonder about this Nate kid who was supposed to go out and find help for Lei. Could it be possible that something bad had happened to him, too? So far, the island did seem to be too safe for anyone. "I do hope that this Nate is okay, too. We do not need anything else bad happening to anyone on this island," Aphrodite stated, another soft sigh eventually escaping from between her soft lips. Aphrodite soon smiled when Lei asked her which Pokemon she has on her team that might be able to help her out. "Alvaro, come on out!" She called out, summoning her powerful and majestic knight. Within the flash of bright light, a Gallade appeared in front of Aphrodite and Lei. The Gallade would greet them both with a handsome smile before performing a respectful bow.

"Alvaro, once we're finished up here I'm going to need your help with carrying my new friend here back to our campsite." Aphrodite instructed the Gallade. Alvaro nodded his head and stood by his trainer's side to watch the battle taking place not too far away from them. Although, it was not too much of a battle in Alvaro's eyes.

"I'll give it one more shot and if it breaks out of the Poke Ball then I'll just leave it be. I do not want to use too many Poke Balls on this one when there could be some rare fairy-type Pokemon around here somewhere," she added.

Aphrodite glanced away from the fight and turned her attention towards Lei's wound. "Yikes! That doesn't look too good," she pointed out. She wished that she had some healing items that humans could use in her backpack, but she left her first aid kit back at the campsite. "We're going to make sure that we get you back as soon as possible. We do not want to risk encountering any other Pokemon that might be too aggressive," she added. Everything that Lei mentioned to her made complete sense to her.

Cappy rolled her eyes at the Dweeble's whining. "Don't waste your time talking to it. It has its mind made up. Although, it doesn't matter because if my trainer is adamant about catching it then she's going to catch it," she replied back to the Heracross. Cappy knew that the Heracross meant well, but the Dweeble is just too stubborn.

"Cappy use Stun Spore!" Aphrodite commanded her Pokemon. She would then plan to toss a Poke Ball at the Dweeble after the paralyzing spores make contact with its body.

Dwebble tilted its head and listened to Asynje for a second. How did this Pokemon think that she wasn’t good at battling?! They were ganging up on the small Pokemon and causing it great pain and suffering by choosing to continue to battle Dwebble when it clearly didn’t want to continue battling them. It jumped as a large wave from the pool’s side crashed over the rock it had climbed on top of and fell into the water for a second. “But you’re much better than me!” Dwebble tried to insist, working its way back up on top of the rock once more. “You don’t even need to gang up on other Pokemon to terrorize them! You’re a natural born terror all on your own!” Maybe if Dwebble helped Asynje believe in whatever it was she wanted to believe in of herself, they would leave it alone?

Dwebble spun around as Cappy insisted on the fact that her trainer was going to capture it. What?! Why?! What did the Dwebble do that was so horrible it warranted the poor Pokemon being taken away from everyone and everything it loved?! This was its home! Couldn’t they see that?! “I don’t want to go with YOU!” The Pokemon lunged off of its rock and swam through the waters to chase after Cappy. It would pick the other Pokemon up with both of its claws and slam Cappy back on the ground with as much force as it could muster. Maybe it would have to just fight, fight, fight for its life! What sick and twisted Pokemon it had to run into! “Can’t ya’ll just be happy with the Shellder and leave me in peace?!” It demanded fearfully.

Cappy’s thick cloud of spores shot out from its body and covered the air around the small bug Pokemon. Dwebble immediately dropped on the ground and tucked itself inside of its shell. Only the small red legs poked out of the large brownish-grey rock on its back, clinging to the edges of the rock as it tried to hide in fear. The clouds surrounded it from every angle and seeped inside of its home through the opening in the rock where Dwebble hid. It coughed and gagged on the fumes until it came rushing back out of hiding and scurried in different directions, trying to outrun the spores. It was too late, though, as Dwebble could feel the pain from Cappy’s spores pulsating through its veins.

I know you only mentioned she's planning on using a ball next. Just noting that we can only do one round at a time in doubles with 2 different characters present (non-NPC), which is why I take any liberties to roll for the capture yet.

"Why shouldn't he be okay? He left only a few minutes ago and I'm surprised you didn't see him," Lei said curiously, "besides, he has gotten some pret-ty strong pokemon by now, so he should be fine," she said with a smirk, very well known that she was the reason his pokemon had grown so much in strength in this short amount of time.
"That was also why I was so surprised you were coming already, as I thought he'd need to return to camp first and talk with people and organize something before coming back to get me," she explained.
Lei raised her eyebrows as the view of the noble gallade and she grinned, "pretty sure Nate wanted his ralts to evolve into gallade as well, you should meet him!" He looked pretty strong, there was a fair chance she'd get back soon then, even though she had hoped for a more comfortable trek. It was better than being pulled on something over the rocks though, she would have preferred a stretcher but she'd like being carried on the back on a pokemon rather than being stuck out here.

Lei shrugged at Aphrodite's explanation about the dwebble, "that's up to you," she said not really caring what the other trainer ended up doing. "I just need to know what the plan is so I don't mess it up," she said with a smile, "another Leer Asynje!" She shouted to her heracross.
The thirty year old woman put on a brave face when she heard Aphrodite's reaction to her colorful leg, "at least there is no breakage and I'm pretty sure its not broken as I have been able to use it a bit," she said with a sigh, "but its the worst time to not being able to walk properly and help us all survive!" She said regretfully, fully enjoying the attention which she got due to the leg, it was almost worth it. Almost.

Lapis flapped over to Alvaro and circled him a few times curiously, "a gallant knight you are?" He asked curiously, "what noble cause are you fighting for?"
His wings glittered in the sun and he certainly wasn't made for a tropical environment.

Asynje stopped right in her tracks and stared at the bug type, "me? A terror?" She exclaimed in disbelief, "I only know the basics! I might seem strong and impressive but really, its Cappy who are doing all the hard work," she argued with a little shy smile.
The heracross looked surprised at Cappy and envied her iron will to just ignore the wild pokemon's rambling, but she couldn't. She wished she could find a solution to make it work for everyone but she was too stupid for that and she didn't dare go against her trainer. Perhaps that was just life sometimes? Frustrating and unrewarding.
"I hear you, and I wish I could just leave you," she said and glanced back, at least Lei gave her a non attacking order this time, and she could just narrow her eyes at the rock shelled bug. "I.. I can't go against my trainer though, I don't dare to, and she's not one listening to my advice. I'm sorry, but I'm too weak," she apologized wholeheartedly.

Aphrodite was concerned about Nate's safety, because she did not know how long ago it had been that Lei had sent him out to find help. However, when Lei confirmed that he had not been too long ago left the site, she found herself feeling more relieved and less worried about anything bad happening to him along the way. "Well, that makes me feel a lot better," she added with a gentle smile.

"Oh, sure. I wouldn't mind meeting this Nate person," she added with another smile. So far from what she has learned from Lei, Nate seems like a nice guy. "Perhaps, my Pokemon could help him train his Ralts. Outside of having a Gallade, I also have a Kirlia, too. My Kirlia is getting pretty close to evolving into a Gardevoir pretty soon," Aphrodite added with a wider smile curved against the corners of her lips.

"Okay, I'm going to plan to catch it," Aphrodite told Lei, after finally making a final decision. "No breakage is good news. Hopefully, you will have a speedy recovery!" she added with a smile before returning her attention back towards the fight. She was quite surprised to see that the Dwebble was showing a more aggressive side in the fight despite not wanting to engage in a battle in the first place. "Cappy! Just hang in there a little bit longer!" She encouraged her Pokemon before digging inside of her purse to pull out another Poke Ball. She decided to choose a Net Ball this time since the Poke Ball did not work the last time.

A proud smile spread across Alvaro's mouth after hearing the snow moth refer to him as a "Gallant Knight". "My duty is to protect my trainer and my friends at all time!" He replied back to Lapis

Normally, Cappy would show a more gentle side towards other Pokemon. However, this was different. Her trainer wished to catch the Pokemon and she would do whatever it takes to make sure that her trainer is able to capture it. After landing her Stun Spore Cappy would make her way back over to her side of the field. She would give her teammate a quick nod after hearing the Heracross acknowledge her skills a bit.

"Alright, here goes nothing!" She shouted, tossing the Net Ball at the Dweeble.

Dwebble pulled itself inside of its shell as the water lapped against the rocks around it. It created a gentle musical melody. Tears darted the small Pokemon’s eyes while its mind raced back to the memories it had created while growing up around the rocky side of the pool and it wandered if it would manage to survive long enough to escape its eventual fate. Maybe it wouldn’t be all bad? Even so, it wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye to everything it had ever known and everyone it knew. “But you are a terror!” Dwebble poked one of its arms out from the shadows of the inside of its shell towards Asynje. “You’re fighting me regardless of what I want. Don’t you see?” It gulped.

As Asynje seemed to gesture towards Cappy, Dwebble’s eyes rolled over to the strange mushroom from inside of its shell. “I’ve…never had a trainer before…” It finally admitted and poked its head out from inside of its shell. It kicked at the dirt and small pebbles near its feet and thought silently to itself. It could see the human fumbling around to pull out yet another strange ball and felt the paralysis seeping inside of its body. Every muscle ached as it struggled to pull itself back out of its shell and fought to find the strength to continue attacking its opponents. Was it really fair that it had to face them both all on its own, though?! Why?! “…and I don’t know how…to say goodbye…to my friends…” It gulped.

The strange bluish ball with thick webbing on the top of its dome sped through the air. As soon as it tapped the Dwebble on the side of its shell, a bright beam of red light wrapped around the small hermit crab and pulled it inside. The ball landed on the ground between two large rocks and wiggled back and forth inside of the splashing waves all around it. Dwebble had no real energy to fight against its captures, though. They’d done everything within their power to ensure this. So after only a few good shakes, a loud ding would sound and announce Dwebble’s successful capture. It would have to learn how to live with its new trainer and come to terms with seeing the world outside of its sheltered home.
