Even through the mist that was currently blanketing all of Goldenrod City and its surrounding areas, Venom knew exactly where he was. Having just exited the Ilex Forest, he now stood on route 34, located just south of Goldenrod City. And now that he was finally here, the ninja had a lot of work to do. Starting with capturing some brand new Pokemon for Team Toxic, which is exactly why he was smiling, despite the sheer number of tasks he had on his plate. Thankfully, the sunlight still managed to shine through the mist, which meant that Venom still had plenty of daylight left to tackle the first task on his to-do list. And that task was to capture the Fang Snake Pokemon. Seviper.
Through his studies, the Poison type trainer knew that Seviper roamed these parts, and a good number of trainers sought them out. Unfortunately, this particular Poison type Pokemon was quite rare and only ever appeared before trainers who were lucky enough to cross paths with them. However, Venom had been preparing for this encounter for quite some time now and had a secret weapon ready to go. Standing in the middle of the tall grass fields the wild Seviper lived in, Venom reached into his bag, located his secret weapon, pulled it out, and held it up high. The secret weapon in question was an extremely rare item. Even more rare than Seviper itself. A Mistletoe.
Venom had obtained this item a while back, and knew that he could only use it once, but it was guaranteed to draw any one rare wild Pokemon right to him. Of course, since Seviper lived here, Venom knew that their rivals, Zangoose, were also found here. And that they were just as rare as Seviper was. With that in mind, the ninja knew that he only had a 50/50 chance of attracting the attention of a Seviper, but he was fully prepared to take that chance. "Hey! Come on out, Seviper! And show me those poisonous fangs of yours! Hello?! I know you're out there!" Venom called out through the mist, keeping the Mistletoe raised up as high as he could, and mentally praying to Arceus that his calls would be answered by the Pokemon he had waited years to finally meet.
OOC: Mistletoe used. Also, I'd like to place Whirlipede back in Venom's PC and withdraw his Ivysaur in place of him. Thanks.

The mist had drifted in from the ocean and had cover the route in chilly wetness which didn't please many of the pokemon which lived here. A seviper was rolled up grumpily as the cold didn't fancy it at all, it preferred warm sunny days which would warm up its body and make it so much faster, at least it had chased off the last known zangoose who had been around so it didn't have to worry about things like that, and it had eaten recently so it could last for a while. It had planned on just waiting out the chill, until either the weather was more to its liking or something else required it to do something, like if that pesky normal type should return. It was a cheating sneaky *****, last winter it had waited until snow covered the land and had used it to both hide in it and take advantage of zeviper's slower reaction, and it had chased it off. Seviper of course had returned as soon as possible and had kicked its butt several times, it just couldn't get into its thick head that it wasn't going to win in the end. Seviper's head shot up and it shook it as if it tried to clear it, something called it, no urged it to move out of its nest and go somewhere! It snorted and rolled up even tighter, it was not going to let some silly whim decide its actions, it could use its head. The pulling wouldn't stop though and despite its best effort it soon found itself out in the long wet grass, and it heard a voice shout something in the distance, and felt drawn to it. It made a half heartedly attempt to turn around but then decided to figure out who was trying to put a spell on it and teach them a lesson, you didn't cross its path unharmed. Seviper [Lv 16] is attracted to the mistletoe. Mist will be in effect.Pokemon called, Seviper 1, Zangoose 2: 9ZH_Y2en1-2Shiny: 1-421-2·1-42

Venom waited patiently for something to appear, knowing that the rare item he had acquired would not fail to make either a Seviper or a Zangoose appear before him. Although, given his vast knowledge of Pokemon, especially Poison types, Venom also knew that if there were any Sevipers lurking around here, the mist was likely causing a great deal of discomfort to the cold-blooded serpent Pokemon. However, since Seviper's presence in this area had become common knowledge, that meant that they had to have been living here for a while now. And thus, should've gotten used to living so close to the ocean by this time. That was Venom's hope at least. The last thing he wanted to do was cause trouble for any Pokemon, but if any Fang Snake Pokemon were around and disliked this chilly weather, hopefully they'd be grateful to get a nice warm home with a trainer if nothing else.
Soon enough, something began to appear through the mist, causing the ninja to narrow his eyes at it, trying his best to make it out. The closer it got, the clearer it became, until it was finally in full view. With its mission complete, the Mistletoe withered away into dust right in Venom's hand, but the Poison type trainer was far too distracted to pay it any mind. Once he got a good look at the Pokemon that answered his call, he gasped right away, as his eyes went wide, and he took a moment to fully take in the reality of this encounter. As soon as it finally sunk in, a big smile appeared on Venom's face, and huge sparkles appeared in his eyes. "YES!" Then, without even the smallest hint of fear or hesitation, the purple-haired trainer ran right over to the wild Poison type to get a better look at it and truly appreciate this fated encounter.
"It worked! It really worked! I've waited such a long time to meet you, Seviper! And you look like such a strong and beautiful one too! So amazing!" Even in his Poison type fanboy mode, it was easy for Venom to see that this Seviper was a female, and that she wasn't in the best of moods at this particular moment. Nevertheless, Venom displayed absolutely no fear at all, having been bitten by plenty of poisonous Pokemon in the past. Still, he didn't wish to make her feel any more uncomfortable than she already was. So, after a good five minutes of admiring her, Venom backed off and gave her a bow of apology.
"Please forgive me if I've bothered you at all, Seviper. That wasn't my intent. And while this might sound premature of me to say, I'd like to welcome you to Team Toxic. I've got some very nice items stored away just for you, but before any of that, I suppose we should demonstrate our power to you." After raising his head, the ninja grabbed a Pokeball from his bag, figuring that this Seviper wouldn't join his team without a fight. To that end, he already had a Pokemon in mind to demonstrate Team Toxic's might to the wild Poison type. "Let's go, Nidoking! It's time to make a new friend!"
After the Poison type trainer tossed the Pokeball up into the air, his trusty Poison/Ground type appeared before the Fang Snake Pokemon, stomping his feet on the ground a few times to demonstrate his power to her. "Nido! Nidoking!" The smile on Venom's face had changed into a grin, but he didn't wish to take any chances with such an important and rare encounter like this one. "Glad to see that your body and spirit are as strong as ever, Nidoking! But remember, this is a capture! Not a battle! So, why don't we start out with your Horn Attack?!" The Drill Pokemon knew that the serpentine Pokemon before him was one that his master had waited a very long time to meet and didn't want to do anything to ruin this for him. "Nido! Nido!" Nidoking gave his trainer a nod, then channeled energy into his horn before charging at Seviper, but made sure to hold back part of his raw power. As strong as this Seviper was, Nidoking was still a full ten levels higher.

Seviper seemed largely uninterested in the poison enthusiasts happy-go-lucky attitude. Had he been the one to summon it out of its sleeping chambers and out into the waking world? What a dull and dreary reality for this snake to have slithered out. It thumped its long tail whose end was cut into a sharp blade against the ground and coiled its thick body up tightly. “So it was you who called me out from my comforts? And to what avail?” The snake hissed at Venom and narrowed its sharp eyes pointedly down upon him. When Nidoking appeared, it instead turned its attention to its opponent with a wide grin to show off its long fangs. “It is not I who will be welcomed on a team, but you who will be welcomed away from me.” The snake continued as it lifted its head up high above its tightly coiled body and waved its head back and forth as though it were listening to some strange melody or as though it were trying to hypnotize the large rhinoceros. “Many a trainer would love to have me on their team. I am strong and powerful, and my toxins deadlier than the worst poisons you could ever try to imagine.” The snake continued to speak to Venom. “What should I hope to gain from your team, young warrior? What do you offer me in return?” It needed to know why Venom seemed so sure that he would be welcoming the Seviper onto his team in due time, and needed to know that its opponents were worthy enough to do so. It lunged at Nidoking to try and break down the barrier that seemed to surround him. It sparkled in the autumn sunlight. Thought Seviper couldn’t recall seeing this beast set his trap in front of its own eyes, it knew the tell-tale glisten of a protective barrier whenever it saw one. Though as it struck out to break the barrier down, the Seviper would find that it had been sadly mistaken all along. While it attacked the mist, Seviper did manage to knick Nidoking on his side slightly with its blade-like tail tip. While trying to overcome its own confusion, the large spiky purple rhino charged forward. Nidoking slammed the pointed end of his horn into the snake’s body and lifted it up to toss it down on the ground with a powerful thud. Seviper smirked, picking itself up and coiling back up defensively. “I’ll admit you’re a strong adversary…perhaps you might convince me yet…and perhaps you won’t.” It hissed. Even though it was easy for him to see that Seviper wasn't at all happy about being called out of the blue like she was, Venom's smile didn't waver. He was far too happy and excited to let anything ruin this moment for him. And, of course, he was more than happy to answer any and all questions Seviper sent his way. "Yes, that was me. And again, I apologize for disturbing you, Seviper. It's just that I've waited a very long time to meet you, and I saved a rare item just for the occasion. That's what called you out here, but we can talk more about that later. If you end up joining Team Toxic that is." The ninja answered Seviper's first question in a friendly tone of voice, while Nidoking grinned back at her, ready, willing, and able to meet her in battle head-on.
After the first exchange of blows between the two Poison type Pokemon, Venom was quick to answer Seviper's second question, digging through his bag for a visual aid to go along with his response. "What do I have to offer you? Well, for starters, you won't have to worry about cold temperatures rolling in from the ocean anymore. Plus, you'll always have good friends around who'll always have your back in battle. And if that's not enough for you, then how about these?" The purple-haired trainer presented four items to the Fang Snake Pokemon, all of them shinning brilliantly even through the mist. The items that Venom now held in his hands were four TMs. Two in each hand, and all containing a very powerful move.
"You see, I've been preparing for this encounter for a very long time now. As such, I've got four TMs ready to go. And they're all for you, Seviper. Sludge Wave, Flamethrower, Dark Pulse, and Giga Drain. A powerful Poison type move and moves to combat your greatest weaknesses. Steel, Psychic, and Ground. So, interested yet?" It was Venom's turn to ask the wild Poison type a question, sounding very sure that a strong Pokemon like her would find this offer to be more than a little appealing. Seeing this, Nidoking couldn't help feeling at least a little jealous, but kept his own smile as well. The Drill Pokemon knew how important this encounter was to Venom, and just didn't have it in him to be upset about anything at this time.
"Wow. The master is never that generous with his TMs. He must really want you on the team, Seviper. And for what it's worth, the rest of us would love to have a new friend and such a capable ally around." Nidoking spoke up after that, offering up his own personal opinion to Seviper, and doing so in a friendly tone of his own. Even so, both Venom and Nidoking knew that their words alone probably wouldn't do the job, especially for a wild Pokemon like this one. So, after putting all four TMs back into his bag, Venom called out his next order, hoping that he wasn't overdoing it. "And if none of this convinces you to join Team Toxic, then hopefully this will! Nidoking, attack Seviper with a double round of your Poison Sting!" Once again, Nidoking did his best to zero in on Seviper through the mist, then charged straight for her with his horn ready to strike. "Sorry about this! Hope it doesn't hurt too bad!"

The snake flicked its tongue as it listened to what Venom had to say to it, at least he was polite and showed some respect. It flicked its tongue thoughtful once more as she listened to his offers and his explanations, it was not the worst it had heard but on the other hand it didn't really need any help. "You have not been the only human who has been looking for me," it said proudly, "how can I know you just aren't going to put me on display and brag about what you have caught? I'm not a prize to win! I am my own and I don't need help from nobody," it declared and seemed annoyed when Venom mentioned all the TM's he had prepared for it. "So you are saying I'm not strong enough in my own right?" It hissed, of course it would be nice with a bigger arsenal but if he had prepared so well and with that many things, it has to mean he didn't think it could do anything on its own. Why else would he have them all ready even before he went looking for it? It was a shame really, since Venom and his nidoking seemed nice and strong, it wouldn't mind joining but not if he thought so little of it. It hissed at Nidoking's comment. "That's nice and all that he finds me weak!" It curled up as it watched Nidoking's every move, nothing escaped its eyes and it clear was experienced in battles even if it had met its match. "You're strong, I can admit that, and I guess your trainer has trained you long and well? And your strength is thanks to him?" It asked coolly just as much to win some time as to learn more about the ones standing in front of it. It was going in the right direction for Venom but then Nidoking wanted to be a bit too friendly for the snake's liking. It hissed again. "Hurt?! Hurt too bad?!" It raised its head up spitting with fury, "I am a fighter! I have battled more times than you can imagine! You are just as bad as your trainer! You are thinking me as a nothing who can do nothing on my own! I don't need you saving me and I don't need you to baby me!"Nidoking shot some needles as the seviper who ignored them entirely as it lunged at him and slapped him over the face with its tail. In response to Seviper's outburst, Venom remained calm and shook his head, continuing to speak in a respectful tone of voice. "You misunderstand, Seviper. It's easy for anyone to see that you are strong in every meaning of the word, especially a Poison type specialist like myself. I can assure you that I have nothing but respect for you. However, you must understand that there is a great big world out there, beyond this route that you call your home. I know this may be hard to accept, but as you are now, you're simply not strong enough to contend with the foes we'll be facing from this point on." Venom did his best to explain all of this to the Fang Snake Pokemon, as images of all the remaining gym leaders, Team Rocket, and the Elite 4 entered his mind.
"So, I offer these TMs to you not because you're weak, but because our future opponents are too strong for us as we are now. Again, that's assuming to agree to join Team Toxic and our cause. And our cause is to show the world the true power of the Poison type. I may not look down on you, but many others do. They view Poison type Pokemon as weak and not worth their time. Believe me, I've seen it with my own eyes." The ninja's gaze narrowed into a glare, as he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists at all the memories of trainers looking down on Poison types running through his mind. After that, Venom spoke with even more passion in his voice, doing his very best to convey his feelings to Seviper.
"Please believe me, Seviper! This injustice cannot be allowed to continue! You don't like being looked down on, right?! Well then, let's show the entire world why they shouldn't! Together! I'm doing this for all Poison type Pokemon, but I can't do it without only the best Poison type Pokemon in the world! I need you!" The Poison type trainer started to breathe deeply after finishing his speech, hoping that he was able to bridge the gap between Seviper and himself. Even if only a little bit. Of course, Nidoking knew very well that his trainer meant every word that he spoke and was fully committed to helping him achieve his dreams in any way that he could. Even if it meant facing one of his fellow Poison types in battle.
"Do you see now?! No one cares more about us than my master! We are not just toys for him to show off to others! In his eyes, we're the best this world has to offer, and we deserve to be treated as such! I won't lie! It's a difficult transition, going from being a wild Pokemon to being part of a team! But after everything I've been through with my master and my comrades, I'm proud to be part of Team Toxic!" The Drill Pokemon shared Venom's passion as he offered up his own retort to his serpentine opponent, stomping his foot on the ground and causing the ground to shake a little once more just to demonstrate how serious he was. And after Nidoking's most recent exchange of blows with said opponent, Venom decided that it was finally time to try for a big finish.
Reaching into his bag once more, Venom located a Great Ball, pulling it out and gripping it firmly in his hand. "I'm sure you have a good life here, Seviper, and it does pain me to some degree to do this. But hopefully, at some point or another, we can become good friends. Just as I am with all of my precious Pokemon." The ninja then took one more deep breath, focused his gaze on Seviper through the mist, then prepared to let the blue and white orb in his grip fly. "Seviper, I choose you!" With one quick and strong throw, the Great Ball hit Seviper right between her eyes and sucked her inside. After that, Venom and Nidoking watched with bated breath, waiting to see if they had a new friend or if the battle would continue.

Seviper lifted itself up high and flexed the tip of its bladed tail underneath its chin thoughtfully as the snake scratched at its scales. Venominon’s praised felt like roses being thrown at Seviper’s feet. It marveled in the message and basked underneath the weight of his words, appreciating a trainer who could see the full value in such a powerful Pokemon as itself. “Of course I am strong in every sense of the word, human!” The large serpent hissed. It narrowed its eyes angrily and slammed its tail against the ground, before coiling itself back up and preparing itself to strike after them once more. It would have to show this human and its very powerful rhinoceros just why they should be so fearful of its power! “There is nothing out there that I cannot face!”As soon as the Great Ball was flung at the snake, it immediately hissed and dived after the device with its jaws stretched out open wide. It would bite down on this stupid blue ball and swallow it whole! This human only saw it as some sort of creature that needed help to become something great, and therefore had no respect for the serpent at all! At least…the Seviper was very concerned that this was the truth Venom lacked being able to admit to her. Everything from his words to his conviction in his tone suggested that! So as soon as the bright red beam of light swallowed the snake whole and pulled it inside of the device, Seviper would just as easily break free! “It won’t be that easy to capture me!” The serpent demanded, slamming its tail wildly around on the ground. A bright purple ring of energy emanated from Seviper’s tail tip as it slammed it tail through the thick grasses on the surrounding route. “I don’t need your TMs! They may be powerful and strong, but I don’t want a pity party! If you mean to give them to me only because you see my current moves as weak, save it for a snake who is truly weak! I’m no Ekans – and I’m certainly not an Arbok! My power is much stronger than my cousins – something you need to prove you can handle!” After seething for a minute or two longer, and managing to nick Nidoking in the side, Seviper would calm down. “It’s not that I do not want to join you. I do not want to join you only to be a prize or to be pitied. Why do you insist that I am not strong enough as I am? Why do you want to capture me if I am not strong enough as I am? Do you want to capture me only to change me? Or do you truly want to help me become the best version of myself?”Nidoking’s words echoed in Seviper’s skull. The large blue snake with bright yellow markings turned its sharp red eyes upon the large horned beast. Seviper only stared deeply as she controlled herself, breathing in deeply with a soft hiss underneath its tongue. “I haven’t seen anything yet. I’ve only heard. And watched a lad who claims me to still be too weak as I currently am, attempt to mark me as his own. What are toys if not things that humans claim as their own, to do with and manipulate as they please? Tell me truthfully. Is your life with your trainer fully a choice, or is it mostly accepting everything he makes you do for his own amusement?” Seviper was no longer interested in the conversation Venom could give it as much as it was in the answers it sought from Nidoking. This would help it decide if it would accept a life with the Poison type specialist or not. Catch? As Venom listened to Seviper's words, he fell completely silent, taking a good ten minutes to mull it all over. He had to admit, the Fang Snake Pokemon had some good points. At the end of the day, Pokemon were the ones that did all the heavy lifting, while their trainers were the ones who reaped the benefits of their efforts. There wasn't anything Venom could do to change that, but he truly did believe that the relationship between Pokemon and trainer went deeper than a mere master and servant pact. Although, the ninja still questioned whether or not his words alone would be enough to get through to Seviper. True, he could've just captured her and been done with this whole situation. But if she would just end up hating him, then what would be the point?
In that scenario, Venom would be no better than the humans he disliked so very much. As a result, the Poison type trainer found himself at a loss for words, not sure what he should say or do next. Thankfully, his Pokemon friend had his back, and faced the wild Poison type, pouring as much emotion and conviction into his words as he possibly could. "I must admit, I've never met a Pokemon quite like you before in my life. Most wild Pokemon tend not to think about these things very much at all, and perhaps your point of view rings true for Arceus knows how many of our kind. But not me." Even through the mist, the Drill Pokemon stared right into Seviper's eyes, thinking back to the day when he first met Venom and the rest of Team Toxic.
"When I first met my master, I was still a Nidoran, and I had been injured and was sick. I admit, my memories from that day are a bit hazy, but I still remember enough. In self-defense, I was lashing out at everyone and everything around me. Most trainers probably would've taken advantage of my moment of weakness and defeated me easily or captured me without a second thought. But master was different. Even in my ferocious state, he still approached me, withstood my attacks, talked me down, and tried his best to help me. Yes, he did capture me, but only after calming me down and helping me to regain my senses."
"After that, he brought me to a place called a Pokemon Center, where they treated my wounds and my illness. From there, master and the rest of his Pokemon welcomed me onto their team and their family with open arms. Master never asked more of me than what he knew I was capable of and helped me grow stronger. Strong enough to evolve into Nidorino, then eventually Nidoking. In fact, if I never met master, I might not have survived the night we met. And even if I did, I definitely wouldn't have evolved into such a powerful form."
Nidoking smiled fondly as he recalled all the time he spent with Team Toxic, but then lost his smile as he continued to speak to Seviper, taking on a more serious tone of voice. "So, you see? Master never looks down on us. He merely wishes to help us reach our full potential. You might be strong, but you could be so much stronger. And if you think that you're good enough to make it in the world beyond this route as you are now, then I regret to inform you that you are mistaken, Seviper. Take right now for example. You've hit me with plenty of attacks, but I've barely even felt them. It's a shame you don't have the attacks in the TMs that master offered to you. If you did, then I might actually struggle against you."
"The truth hurts, doesn't it? Believe me, I know that better than most other Pokemon. You take great pride in your strength, but that pride has also left you more than a little arrogant. And one day, that will be your downfall. Especially if you're unfortunate enough to cross paths with a Steel type Pokemon. True, none live around here in the wild, but trainers pass through here all the time. Your attacks barely hurt me, but they'll be completely ineffective against a Steel type. That's that the TM for Flamethrower is for." In preparation for their future gym battle against Jasmine, as well as any other Steel types they might face along the way, Venom always made sure to teach his Pokemon everything they'd need to know about their strengths and weaknesses every chance he got.
At that point, Venom came back to reality, smiling at his beloved Pokemon, and grabbing another Great Ball from his bag. "Thank you, Nidoking, my friend. As always, I'm truly grateful to have you with me." The ninja spoke to his companion with high levels of gratitude in his voice, then turned to face Seviper once more, taking on a serious facial expression of his own. "Whether you believe us or not, it's all true. Your current attacks, not matter how powerful, will do no good against the trials that lay ahead of us. That said, I have never considered myself to be better than any Pokemon I've ever met. Pokemon are amazing, and are capable of so much, but with my help, you could be so much more than you are now. So, Seviper, I say this with the upmost respect. Please come with us and lend us your power!" As he spoke his final words to the large serpent, Venom threw a second Great Ball at her, hoping that both the blue and white orb, and his words would have a more positive effect on her this time around.

Seviper pressed the pointed tip of its tail against the bottom side of its jaw and listened to Nidoking carefully. It managed to calm down and Nidoking wasn’t going out of his way to attack the wild snake. Though it wanted to prove itself against its opponents and show them the true power that lay inside of its thick coils, the Seviper also wanted to give them both the chance and hear them out. It hadn’t come across many trainers in all of its life that seemed so fascinated in the snake – they either wanted to get rid of it or capture it as some sort of prize they could sell or trade away. It was no prize to be collected. It was no weakling to be pitied. “I’ve met my share of trainers in my long life.” The snake nodded its head thoughtfully at Nidoking’s comment. “The longer you survive, the crueler they seem to be when they find you.” She remarked with a loud yawn before stealing a firm glance in Venom’s direction as if warning him if his true motives were anything but what he had promised the poisonous reptile. “Not many would heal such a weak and pathetic Pokemon as a Nidoran. They often overlook the Nidoran of the world for the powerful Nidoking they can become.” It added thoughtfully with a smile. “And did he…help you evolve? Or did you find the stone you needed to evolve all on your own accord?” It asked curiously. Such a powerful Poison Type trainer that had evolutionary stones on them could prove to have other useful items that could prove advantageous for the large snake. After a long moment spent deliberating on the moment, Seviper would only nod its head firmly. “I think I do see.” It would slither over to Venom to stand dangerously close to the ninja. Seviper raised itself up on its coiled body so that its large head would tower over the tall ninja and stared down with its sharp red eyes as it sized the trainer up carefully so. “I will give you the chance to prove yourself a worthy trainer. But hear me well, trainer. Should you prove to deceive me and…” It flicked its tongue out to taste Venom’s scent as it pointed the tip of its tail in Nidoking’s direction. “…none of your Pokemon will save you from what I can truly do.” After that, it would welcome the Great Ball that Venom chucked at it, allowing itself to be easily captured. As Venom and Nidoking listened to the next round of words that came from the large poisonous snake, both of their facial expressions softened almost immediately. And even in the face of Seviper's threats, Venom could only smile up at the Fang Snake Pokemon, giving her a single nod before she vanished into his Great Ball. "Thank you, Seviper. I promise I won't let you down. It's great to have you with us." The Poison type trainer spoke in a grateful tone of voice as he walked over and picked up the Great Ball that contained his new companion, then watched as the blue and white sphere transported itself to his PC. Even after everything that happened during the battle, Venom was feeling extremely happy at this moment. He had finally befriended and captured one of his most favorite Pokemon in the entire world, and he could somehow tell that this was the start of a truly beautiful friendship. Nidoking then approached his trainer with a smile of his own, feeling a mixture of relief, excitement, and accomplishment all in one. "I'm glad I was able to help fulfill your wish, master. But are you sure that this Seviper is a good fit for Team Toxic?" The Drill Pokemon was mostly concerned about her personality, a little worried that she might cause some tension with the other Pokemon on the team. Venom had thought about this too, but he still nodded, not worried about this at all. "Thank you too, Nidoking. But don't worry. I'm sure Seviper and everyone else will be fine. Honestly, I learned a few things from her during our battle that I'll definitely be sure to keep in mind moving forward. I guess it's true what they say about the relationship between Pokemon and trainer. You teach me and I'll teach you."The ninja's response made Nidoking smile at him yet again, as he took a moment to truly appreciate the words he had heard from his master. "I think I speak for all of Team Toxic when I say that we'll always have your back, master. But why send Seviper to your PC? Don't you want to trainer with her?" The Poison/Ground type questioned Venom once again, and Venom was quick with an answer. "Of course I do, Nidoking, but we have a few more things to take care of first. Like making a few more new friends for one. Can I count on you again, my friend?" It was Venom's turn to ask a question after that, and Nidoking gave his trainer a nod before responding. "As if you even need to ask, master. It would be my pleasure." After that, Venom gave his Pokemon a bow, called him back to his own Great Ball, then turned and headed straight into the hustle and bustle of Goldenrod City.
