Not really a forum game but if you're celebrating any IRL holidays or event and want to share, we can do it here. We have different cultures and ethnicities here. And if you want to celebrate things like International Pet Day, International Coffee day, etc. that could work too! I'll start.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAY!

This might more have been a Entertainment board than a game corner one Merry Christmas! I'm not sure what I really celebrate other than Christmas, New Year and birthdays though. There are other lesser holidays here as well, I just don't really participate in them. Might be an idea to add how people celebrate to this thread? I'm sure that even in the same country there is differences ^^

We used to do more for Christmas. Go over to an aunt or grandmother's house on Christmas Eve for a family dinner and light present exchanging, then a big thing with immediate family the day of. But due to COVID and about a dozen other circumstances, that ended up not being a thing this year or last; plus no one's schedule was really lining up, so we did Christmas a few days early.
So Christmas Day for me will be spent eating my weight in leftover ham and watching movies while I enjoy my break from work.

This is our Christmas Dessert. ^^ We celebrated Christmas today in my house. We opened up our gifts - including a gift for each of our pets, that we opened with them - and then sat down later in the day for Christmas Dinner. I ended up making honey glazed spiral ham, southern style green beans, bourbon glazed carrots, southern mashed potatoes with gravy, and homemade macaroni & cheese. For starters, we all had a salad before the main meal. Christmas here is usually a simple celebration. If you choose to have your children believe in Santa Clause, then you would send them to bed early on Christmas Eve. In the morning, presents from Santa would mysteriously appear underneath the Christmas Tree. ^_^ There's been a lot of debate in the States on what Santa should or shouldn't bring children. Growing up, Santa was a toy maker so he would bring you the toys and your parents would bring you everything else (like clothes and such) in my family. Belief spoiler:I ruined the belief for myself in first grade by asking my question a bunch of "if he's real then _" logical based questions meant to prove he wasn't real. xD Despite this, my dad kept addressing all my toy-based gifts from "Santa" until I was in like 9th grade. Man, it felt ridiculous to still see "From: Santa" on tags for a while! Christmas isn't the easiest time of the year for me, personally. My dad was born on Christmas Eve and died on Dec 7th (2017). My Grandmother died on Christmas Day when I was only 10 years old. So it's rare that I have much of a "spirit" for the holidays, beyond the obligatory sharing of gifts between loved ones.
