Just wanted to share a few videos from my trip to J-popcon last weekend, and a single video from Copenhagen Zoo, which was a new for me.
J-popcon is a Danish convention focusing on Japaneese culture, anime and manga (and k-pop has begun sneaking its way in). Being here though, a lot of our pop culture has mixed in with the shows and cosplays, and I just wanted to show a bit of it.
I'll start out with an old one from 2016. This is the craftmanship, where they just show off their costumes, and I have skipped to the part with the one I'm still very much impressed with! She has made everything, the one inside the costume.
And another old one, which is so good I also still remember it
When it comes to the cosplayshow itself, there is two. There is the one Saturday, which is the more "serious" one (it tended to be very artistic but it has thawed up a bit), and here its things where people has prepared a long time ahead and practiced. The winners go to cosplayshows to represent Denmark in other countries, the biggest prize is of course going to Japan and compete there ^^
Sunday is more for fun, its for people who gets an idea while they are at the con, or who wants to try stand on a stage, since they haven't really tried before. These are usually super fun and the props is clearly quickly made
If you want to see more/others than the ones I'm sharing, they are under the same user on youtube.
Saturday
The Legend of Vox machina
Snow White and the Seven Dwarf
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sunday
Encanto
Yu-go-oh
And then we had one with Loke (Loki) from a Christmas Series called Jul i Valhal (Christmas in Valhal), you can hear everybody singing along at the chorus XD
And just to give you the original from the series, which they are cosplaying. It's certainly not one of my favorites from that series
You know those places, where you have a tunnel under the aquarium and can see sharks from below and such? Copenhagen Zoo has done so with their polar bears! I have never seen them from below before.
Might also take some pictures of the art-thingies I have bought while there, if I get around to do it
