IMPORTANT NOTE: Yōchū NOT in active party in thread! ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day
Heracross easily resurfaced after a brief stunt inside of the Net Ball. Though it wiggled a couple of times, causing Zaiden’s hairs Time slipped through the hourglass, carrying with it the winds of change. Thick cumulus clouds slowly broke up into altocumulus clouds, though many dark altostratus clouds weaved in-between the spaces around them. The sun peaked through downy soft piles of cotton ambling slowly on the westwardly winds and waved with short rays that were soon choked off as another layer of thick, grey clouds slowly swallowed it whole.
They managed to capture the large blue stag beetle whose integument provided it with strong resistance against most attacks. It was a powerful beast, reminiscent of Pinsir from Zaiden’s hometown and the warnings some would issue about them when encountering one in a battle. He hummed, plucking the small blue orb with thick black netting from betwixt a tangle of ragweed and bright, leafy brassica with ease.
A quick wipe of the dome brought back the same shine and luster one would expect when perusing the shelves of a local market in search of more items to help them along their long, arduous pathways forward. Zaiden’s quick glance sifted through the open air, letting the slight drizzle that barely pelted him sometimes blend into heavier downpours, before sputtering back into gentle mists erase any concerns from his mind. The large house fixated upon the estates from whence he’d once met with Alex remained just a short distance away, over yonder and only just removed from Zaiden’s easy reach.
Still, he wanted not to return to such worlds locked behind comfortable doors, where no doubt powerful air conditioning units pulled skyrocketing temperatures back down to tolerable and must needed levels of relief. Time ticked, reminding Zaiden how long he’d traveled the open estates in his strange journey to understand more of Johto itself. Yet, something remained hidden between tall blades of Bermuda and fescue and just out of Zaiden’s casual gaze.
The called forth not the once brightly hued tapir whose long snout shook wildly, and whose form now resembled that of a member of the primate species instead of the ungulate he was once characteristically recognized as. A large beaver appeared, whose thick tail seemed perfect as a paddle along powerful currents aimed to pull and tug you about as it pleased. Long incisors jutted from the beaver’s upper jaws and displayed prominently in the open air, unable to be easily tucked and contained behind Bībā's soft lips.
“Look at you.” Zaiden mused, eyes twinkling with a bright realization of his companions that trolled alongside him in the wild wonders of the unkempt garden. “Can you use Headbutt, please?” A soft request, pursed on the tip of Zaiden’s tongue, as eyes washed over the thick trunk and powerfully long limbs of the tree before them. Several eyes peered around their massive frames as tangles of branches and smaller twigs branches off in every which way and ensnared each other in the process.
Bībā grimaced. His trainer wanted this behemoth of a thing taken down? The arduous beaver whose natural talent might have him whittle away at many a trunk in his day, gnawing peacefully until ‘Timber!’ was the only appropriate reaction to his handiwork, remained skeptical of Zaiden’s grand plan. He slowly prodded backwards, webbed feet fighting against the weeds that wrapped around his sharp claws, then charged forward with one big burst of energy.
Bībā slammed against the tree with enough might that several green leaves rustled, their serrated edges seemingly going to war with one another to reclaim the normalcy they once had. “I hope you know what you’re doing, kid.” Bībā shrugged, his thick and stocky frame waddling through the ryegrass and switchgrass until he located the perfect place to hunker down and rest. Zaiden watched the tree instead, anticipation boiling just below the surface of his skin.
OOC: On the hunt for explody friend! Kiji forgets Baby-Doll Eyes and learns Work Up. Also sending Heracross over to Caribes' PC (self-update).

The bright summer sun shone on the ground with a slightly unbearable heat. Background Pokemon were making their annoying as usual cries in the background. After Biba had slammed onto one of the trees in the estate, the leaves rustled briefly. Then, suddenly, a white thing fell on the ground with a loud thud. Like any Pokemon being knocked off their tree, this Silcoon wasn't happy about this. It stared at the human and their group of Pokemon though, as it didn't want to shout or to scream yet. If it stayed hidden, maybe they would leave it alone or something. After all, it's too hot outside to cause a ruckus, who were these fools?

Something shifted through the multitude of thick limbs spreading out from the massive tree’s thick trunk. It tumbled through folds of emerald greens whose thin elliptical forms shook and shuddered, serrated edges reaching out near-silently to snatch their host back, locked to the canopy above. Alas, the effort might have proven too great, given the soft plop and subsequent need to blend in, a soft silhouette propped against the sea of juniper and shamrock hues bundled in large sections.
Remaining hidden wasn’t always the safest bet. Rich cinnamon hues flickered, a head turning in different directions with long fingernails that grasped at his lower lips. Something landed nearby but what? Time marched on, disproving the initial belief, causing Zaiden to reconsider such notions. Had he only imagined such a thing? The brain screeched, thoughts racing within their shell locked inside of his cranium. He turned his gaze skywards once more, gaze clamoring through the wide branches in hopes of catching a faint hint of something more.
Bībā backed up, head lowered, a wide smirk plastered across his short maw. Something moved through the canopy, given the dance their stout limbs performed on the relatively light breeze, an uncharacteristic mismatch of such dynamics. He couldn’t see what it was or where it landed, however. Maybe the beast required a little more diligence and perseverance? Bībā would quietly prepare, running in a headlong gait once more, unknowingly chartered in the direction of the hidden chrysalis.
“Oh, good work, Bībā.” Zaiden chimed in, eyes brimming with hope. Whatever lurked inside of the tall tree, made known only by soft sounds of its small form bouncing about through the tangle of branches each grasping for their time to shine, they might yet still knock it out of the way. Once Zaiden’s eyes lowered onto something small and white nearly perfectly hidden in the grass, Zaiden would hold up a hand with a quick whistle. “Wait…” He insisted, turning instead to pluck a different ball from his side.
A click of a button and a bright flash of crimson light would beckon forward a small, skittering tarantula whose long, nimble limbs worked quickly through the wild forest of grass and weeds, towering overhead like giant trees in her wake. “Oh, hey!” Gena called out, one lone limb raised upwards in greeting to the small cocoon whose terrified frame no doubt would find her appearance anything but welcome, if her friend’s previous actions were of any concerns. “Was our hero slung out of its tree? Where upon, they would lay and wait quietly for transformation into a beautiful, winged bug? Would the young protagonist like help back up into their home above the earth?” Gena asked curiously.
OOC: Sending out Bībā and using Headbutt. Then switching to Gena!

The Silcoon was slammed by the Bibarel, and that was when it began to speak, but mostly to make a pained sound. "Ouch! Leave me alone! It's too dang hot for this!" It grumbled. Before it could say anything else, a small green bug with many legs appeared in front of him. It spoke to the Silcoon, but the words were arranged and chosen in a strange way that the cocoon Pokemon wasn't used to. "Ah, yes please. Please help me get back up to the top of the tree where it's cooler." The bug type simply replied, eager to return to higher elevations on a tree to rest. Gena’s eyes widened at the chance to lend a helping hand to the protagonist of her story. Thick, sticky string shot out of Gena’s body, immediately gripping the wild Silcoon with ease. She skittered through the tall grasses towards a wide, sweeping oak tree whose limbs curled back towards the ground below, and easily hopped onto one of the branches with a quick tug on her newfound friend.
“Journey remained an arduous task. Our hero finds itself danglin precariously from each of the limbs as a mysterious force carries them off through the tangle of branches and bright green leaves sprouting in abundance.” Gena continued on the narration, a wide smile covering her face. This story needed a happy ending. One that would tie all the pieces back together.
She turned to a perfect spot nestled against one of the thickest branches within the oak tree and attempted to place the bug in the spot with a quick shot of string to provide Silcoon with a firm and safe hold in place. “And after managing a safe recluse to the spot, our hero would find that they could once again focus on their eventual evolution into a beautiful butterfly.” She hummed thoughtfully, before turning back around and skittering back out of the tree entirely.
OOC: Phoning this round end to hurry an end. Struggle Bug x2 if needed? No levels awarded on battle end as I broke simultaneous battle rules here. ^^

The Silcoon wasn't sure what the other bug was saying, but it was glad to be helped back up into the tree. "Thank you, friend! It won't be bright green soon though, I think it's getting cool soon." The Silcoon mumbled, about the upcoming cooler weather approaching the area. As for evolving or not, the Silcoon hadn't think too far. How close was the cooler season coming anyways? Would it have enough time to enjoy the freedom of the skies before hunkering down from the cold? "Sorry about the rudeness earlier! But have a good night! Nice to meet you but never again!" The Silcoon bid its farewell before faded into yet another tree branch.
+1 happiness now +2!

Time carried itself through the sands of time, transforming the world of warm summer hues to brisk autumn highlights. Bright green leaves slowly curled, their colors blending into warm reds and soft yellows, with flecks of orange along their stretches. Several broke away from the trees and fluttered down onto the ground below, layering the earth in the warm autumn tones. Soon, winter will be knocking on the door, with wide eyes and an expectant need to walk over the threshold into the season’s metaphorical home.
Zaiden turned back to the large tree with Bībā standing beside him, busily chewing on a fallen branch. Would they continue slamming at the ruddy bark in hopes of hunting for something else hidden within the sea of leaves covering nearly every inch of the long, spiraling branches? Bībā remained wholly uninterested in whatever lingered beyond their gaze. Instead, those large incisors very carefully carved wooden structures with a strange sort of ease that might have seemed improbable.
He placed a small, wooden Pikachu statue on the ground and brimmed with excitement, large eyes glancing from the makeshift statue to Zaiden’s face with a hopeful expression. Would his trainer congratulate him on a work well done? Bībā smacked his tail against the ground and cried out. Zaiden turned, eyes shifting to the ground once more, worry clouding the once bright chocolate hues to something deeper umber tones. “Is everything alright? What’s wrong, Bībā?” The young teen asked anxiously, bending on his knees to examine his Pokemon.
Bībā pressed the small statue towards Zaiden’s feet and thumped his tail against the grassy ground once more expectantly. He grumbled underneath his breath. Could Zaiden be so oblivious?! Could he not see the craftsmanship placed before his very eyes?! The small, finer details of Pikachu’s electric pouches carved into the wooden frame, or how small splinters were pulled out to make Pikachu’s short whiskers?! “Ohh…that’s nice!” Zaiden complimented, as he picked up the statue and marveled at it between his hands.
Bībā brimmed, a bright smile covering his face. Finally! Recognition! It was everything he deserved for all his hard work. Zaiden nodded, gently stroking Bībā's head before turning once more to the tree in question. “Mind hitting your head on it once more?” He asked his friend hopefully. Bībā nodded. Anything for a true fancier of fine art, such as himself. He backed up, then rushed towards the tree, slamming the full weight of his head and body into the thick bark. Hopefully, that might shake something loose from up inside of the branches above.
