As Skyler made her way across the route in New Bark Town; she came across a sickly looking bug catcher boy who most definitely didn't look like he should be even standing, much less wandering outside. She offered a sympathetic smile to the boy and waved politely to him. She..didn't really know what to say to the boy. She felt horrible simply by knowing the boy was so badly off. She wished she could help him in some way..Luckily, fate had drawn them together and had assigned her her next task to prove her value as a member of the Wish-Granting religion that followed Jirachi. Surely she'd be able to grant his request, and maybe even learn more about Pokemon breeding in the process. This would be a good next step in her journey towards becoming a Pokemon breeder master, or perhaps just a competent one. Regardless. She smiled towards the sickly boy and bowed politely. "Hello there. I'd be more then happy to help you with your wish. It's pretty much my duty to help those who Jirachi cannot currently aid while it's sleeping. I'll make sure to find you every Vivilion evolution there is! Maybe we'll even find you some other cool bug pokemon for you to keep too, if that would make you at all happy!" She nodded her head cheerfully to the sickly boy. Hoping she could ease his worries at the very least, perhaps even make him happy before he was destined to leave this realm. Still..the thought of him leaving so young troubled her greatly. She maintained her cheerful disposition and demeanour however and made sure to keep herself composed and not just breaking down in the middle of the road for a boy she'd never met before. If he was being strong, she would be too! So she gently took the ball for Scatterbug when it was offered and nodded her head sagely towards the boy. "I'll get it done for you. You can count on me!"

Nature/Personality: Scatterbug is a very cheerful little lady who has been raised by Kent to always see the good in people and the situation at hand. Despite seeing Kent consistently in pain; he always managed to smile through the pain. Giving Scatterbug a glass half full rather then half empty type of personality. With Skyler; she is happy to see someone genuinely smiling to smile rather then having to fight pain consistently. Letting her relax a bit, but still keeping her wits about her for any signs of trouble.

Kent wasn't as bad as he looked, or that was what he told everyone when he got tired of them babying him and wanted him to just sit still and do nothing all day. He was a kid, he had a drive, a goal and wanted to play and explore even if his surroundings saw nothing but sickness when they spotted him, he didn't really grasp it himself and like every other kid his age with pokemon, dreamed about when he was going to start on his journey and become the Champion in the end. That would show them all what he could do.
At least his parents had understood that even a sick kid needed to do more than just survive, if his life was going to be short, he should at least be allowed to live it. Which was why Skyler ran into him alone out in the humid day, and got a strange request.

Kent spent a lot of time watching tv and he had learned about the pokemon called a vivillon and that its wings could have several different beautiful patterns and colors, and he had grown obsessed with it. He had managed to beg and pester his parents enough that he got one scatterbug, but they refused to give him enough for him to get all patterns on his own, and Kent was as impatient as any other kid. He couldn't really get it to multiply himself nor did he know anything about battling and could get it to evolve right, but he could find someone who could!

Having problem with your lungs was not a very good combination with very humid weather, so Kent looked worse for the wear when Skyler met him, although it might have helped awake some pity and goodwill for the kid.
"*cough* Hi! *cough*, I'm Kent! *cough* Are you are *cough*trainer? Will you help me get all the patterns of vivillons?*cough*" He rambled off his request impatiently and got a coughing fit. He continued when it had slowed and he could use his voice again, "It'll be *cough* easy! I have a scat*cough*bug here, and you just *cough* need to find more and *cough* evolve them so I can *cough* see them!"
He grinned when Skyler agreed and he scrambled to find his scatterbugs pokeball and give it to Skyler, "What's a jarichi?" He asked curiously and coughed a bit more, he might have found something else which could become his new obsession while he waited. "you*cough*'re coming back soon, right?" he asked anxiously and smiled weakly.
