The sky opened up and poured with occasional crack of thunder and flash of lightning, but this didn't deterred Penelope, as she's used to this before. She hastily put on her rain jacket again, as the Skiddo and Bellsprout waited for her. She sighed as she wondered if she brought the dampness with her, as now the pouring rain meant that the forest would be damp as well. Thankfully, this area seemed like it wouldn't retain water, so no mushrooms should be growing in abundance. However, right after she put it on and was ready to go again, a lone Oddish appeared.
It looked like it wanted a fight, and before Penelope got to make a decision, her pokeball popped out and an Azumarill appeared! Zuroy happily swayed in the rain, and when she was done dancing, she swung her tail at the Oddish for an Aqua Tail, extra splashy!

It had been raining in the forest for hours and the little Oddish was happy to jump around, splashing in and out of the puddles that were formed by the unending rain. If there was something to be said for the weather conditions, at least the little grass type was happy. At least, it was happy until the trainer came through with her Pokemon. Oddish heard terrible stories about human trainers and their slaves in those capsules, and so she would do her best to resist. When the human allowed one of her Pokemon out, the aqua bunny didn't seem all that scary. After all, Oddish was a grass type, she naturally had the advantage! Squaring up to fight, the Oddish's eyes went wide as the bunny hopped right to the attack, the ball on her tail glowing a bright blue color. The sphere only seemed to get bigger and bigger, as the necklace around the water type's neck glowed the same color. The bunny's tail also seemed to be absorbing the rain that was crashing down around them, making the sphere even bigger. With one fluid swipe of her tail, Zuroy slammed the Oddish and sent the poor wild Pokemon flying. A thud sound echoed in the stillness of the clearing, before it was clear that the Oddish was not about to get up and continue this fight. Zuroy earns 750 EXP for her victory. +1 Happiness, Zuroy is now maxed out! |
